Mary Leech
Mary Ann Leech, 73, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Monday, December 31, 2012 at her home. She was born April 4, 1939 in Elsmore, Kansas the daughter of Mina Timmons and Emory Marsh.
She owned and operated her own business accounting service. She enjoyed woodworking, painting, puzzles, reading, working crossword puzzles, and traveling. She was not afraid to try anything new! She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for seven years after moving from Lewisville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Leech; two sons, Roger Dale Ott and Christopher Will Ott; and one daughter, Sonja Ray Leech.
Mary is survived by one son, Rodney Ott, of Waxahachie, Texas; two daughters, Dianna Northern and her husband, Ernie, of Springdale, Arkansas and Joyce Terral and her husband, Robert, of Denver, Colorado; two brothers, Walt Marsh and his wife, Jacque, of Lincoln, Kansas and Donald Wayne Marsh and his wife, Freda, of Pineville, Missouri; three sisters, Blanche Rose of Wichita, Kansas, Ramona Cox of Lees Summit, Missouri, and Barbara Plumb and her husband, Ray, of Sandy, Oregon; one sister-in-law, Shirley Marsh of Cheyenne, Wyoming; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday January 5, 2013 at 12:30 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bentonville.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewsiville, Texas.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Jean Christopher
Jean R. Christopher, 63, of Pineville, Missouri died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born July 16, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Dorothy Eleanor Vanwille and Frederick Daniel Schirtzinger.
She enjoyed cross-stitching on plastic canvas. She was a homemaker and had lived in the area for over 29 years after moving from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Christopher in 2003.
Jean is survived by two sons, Thomas D. Christopher of Oklahoma and Shawn J. Christopher and his wife, Reatha, of Pineville, Missouri; one daughter, Tamara D. Thomas and her husband, William, of Green Forest, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, December 31, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville, Arkansas.

Nina Haney
Nina Mae Haney, 86 of Rogers, Arkansas passed away at Ashley Rehab in Rogers on December 29, 2012. She was born August 30, 1926 in Bangs, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy McGaughey and Johnnie Womack McGaughey; sister, Ola Faye Bowling; son, Roy Don Qualls; and husband, Gene Dempsey Haney. She lived in Odessa, TX prior to moving to Northwest Arkansas.
She raised a family and made a career of cake decorating as well as her many hobbies of sewing, needlepoint, and various crafts. She was an instructor for cake decorating classes both at Odessa College and for community education in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Bentonville.
Funeral service will follow immediately at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Rex Dickey officiating.
She is survived by her son, Johnny (Beth) Haney of Bentonville; daughter-in-law, Rory Qualls of Garland, Texas; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Interment will be Friday, January 4, 2013 at Bangs Cemetery, in Bangs, Texas.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Marian Corhn
Marian Clara Corhn, of Centerton, Arkansas died Friday, December 28, 2012.
She was a cashier at Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her children, Donadele, Coral, Dale, and Patricia, three brothers, one sister, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Lochlan Mains
Lochlan Vaughn Mains, age 1, of Texas died Thursday, December 27, 2012. He was born February 19, 2011.
Graveside service was at Rogers Babyland Cemetery in Rogers, Arkansas.
Marvin Fletcher
Marvin Fletcher, of Siloam Springs died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at a local nursing home. He was born April 17, 1925.
He is survived by many loving relatives.
Graveside service was at Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City.
Patrick Deml
Patrick Finn Deml, 64, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at a local skilled care center. He was born November 21, 1948 the son of Julia Finn and Leonard Deml in Owatonna, Minnesota.
Patrick spent many years working as a welder on oil and gas pipelines throughout the West. He enjoyed the travel this involved and had especially fond memories of the time spent in Alaska working on the pipeline. The last six years were spent farming which he truly enjoyed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, John Winter.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Judy Deml, whom he married February 4, 1967 in Owatonna, Minnesota; one son, Adam Deml and his fiancé, Suzann Smith, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one brother, Michael Deml and his wife, Lynn, of Egan, Minnesota; four sisters, Suzanne Calkins and her husband, Bill, of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Karen McDowell of Duluth, Minnesota, Jocelyn Williams and her husband, Simon, of Dunecht, Scottland, and Julie Deml of Elk River, Minnesota; mother-in-law, Gladys Winter, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and his brother-in-law, Alan Winters and his wife, Karen, of Webster, South Dakota.
In keeping Patrick’s wishes, there will be no memorial services, but the family hopes you will take a moment to remember Pat’s Life.
