Arkansas, Marriage Certificates, 1917-1972

Billie R. Collum
Billie R. Collum, 74, of Bella Vista, Ark. died Aug. 12, 2005, at the Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville. He was born on Nov. 1, 1930, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, to Lester Collum and Gertrude Kuelper Collum.
He was raised and educated in Belle Plaine. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. He married Zonya Redfearn on Oct. 24, 1953, in Belle Plaine. He owned and operated bakeries in Grinnell, Iowa, and New Hampton, Iowa, where he decorated award-winning cakes. He also owned and operated a motel in Creston, Iowa. He retired and moved to Bella Vista in 1997.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Zonya Collum of Bella Vista; two daughters and sons-in-law, the Rev. Debra Wells and William Wells of Minneapolis, Minn., and Delona Whitten and John Whitten of Ankeny, Iowa; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dann Collum of Portland, Ore., Dennis Collum and Della Collum of Minot, N.D., and Darren Collum and Jennifer Collum of Bellevue, Neb.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Collum and Delores Collum of Belle Plaine and Don Collum and Rosie Collum of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ellen Blomme and Vernon Blomme of Belle Plaine and Nancy Eichhorn and Charles Eichhorn of Belle Plaine; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were Aug. 15 at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.
Memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Baptist Church Men's Ministry, 50 East Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista AR 72714 or to the Braille Ministry c/o Faith Lutheran Church of Bentonville, 1602 Northwest 12th St., Bentonville AR 72712.
Arrangements were by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Gloria Mae Dyson
She moved to Bella Vista in 1976 from Papillion, Neb. She was a charter member of the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista. She was a previous member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Questers and the Republican Women's Club. She enjoyed playing bridge and reading.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bergie Dyson; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Dyson and Caren Dyson of Lewisville, Texas, and Patrick Dyson of St. Joseph, Mich.; three grandchildren, Micah Dyson of Atlanta, Ga., and Cole Dyson and Rachel Dyson, both of Lewisville; and a great-grandson, Walker Dyson of Atlanta.
A memorial service was held Aug. 10 at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista with the Rev. David Fleming, the Rev. Wayne Bartruff and the Rev. Thomas Stone.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, AR 72714; or to the St. Mary's Hospital Building Fund, 1200 W. Walnut St., Rogers, AR 72756.
Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Stanley Dearborn Morrill
Stanley Dearborn Morrill, 99, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 4, 2005, at Concordia Care Center in Bella Vista. He was born Dec. 4, 1905, in Granite Falls, Minn., to Sam Dearborn Morrill and Bertha Elma Wylie Morrill.
Survivors include a son, Keith Morrill of Custer, S.D.; two daughters, Irene Morrill of Orlando, Fla., and Louise Morrill of Farmington, N.M.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
No services were planned.
Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Dorothy Ann 'Dottie' Range
Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Range, 81, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 8, 2005, at Highland Health Care in Bella Vista. She was born May 6, 1924, in Muskegon, Mich., to John J. Nenninger and Francis Heller Nenninger.
She was raised and educated in Granite City, Ill. She worked at the Granite City Steel Mill. She married Joseph E. Range on Sept. 7, 1946. The couple lived in Ann Arbor, Mich.; Piedmont, Mo.; Pineville, Mo.; Neosho, Mo.; Grand Island, Neb.; and Lincoln, Neb., before retiring and settling in Bella Vista in 1984. She volunteered her clerical skills at the Bella Vista division of the Benton County Sheriff's Office. She also volunteered at local hospitals. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and was an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Range, in October 1990; two sisters, Helen Fisher and Betty Marie Nenninger; and a brother, Billy Nenninger.
A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated Aug. 12 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista.
Memorials may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1 St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, AR 72715.

Cecil E. 'Rob' Robbins
Cecil E. "Rob" Robbins, 87, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 13, 2005, at Highland Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Bella Vista. He was born Feb. 22, 1918, in Seattle, Wash., to Chester S. Robbins and Mae A. Chambers Robbins.
He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marines during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 0192 of Riverton, Wash., Scottish Rite of Newbern, N.C., the Retired Officers Association, Quiet Birdmen and the Eastern Star. He and his wife moved to Bella Vista in 1998. He was a member of the Bella Vista Community Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Robbins, and a brother, Melvin Robbins and a half brother, James Kearney.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Norma Sue Robbins; two daughters, Victoria Hammond of Muskogee, Okla., and Cynthia Robbins of Prairie Village, Kan.; two grandchildren, Kimberly Carpenter and Kristopher Hammond; and three great-grandchildren, Devin Hammond, Graham Carpenter and Jacqueline Carpenter.
Memorial services were held Aug. 16 at the Bella Vista Community Church with the Rev. Richard Lindman.
Memorials may be made to the Bella Vista Community Church Foundation, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72714.
Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jodi Lynn Schlosser Scott
She was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Springdale.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Scott of the home; her parents, Art and Arlene Schlosser of Bella Vista, Ark.; two sons, Nathan Cartwright of Olathe, Kan., and Cody Schlosser of Rogers, Ark.; one stepson, Joshua Scott of Springdale; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David Schlosser and Gail Schlosser of San Diego, Calif., Dan Schlosser of Brass Valley, Calif., and Don Schlosser and Michelle Schlosser of Bellingham, Wash.; and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Springdale with Pastor Gary Burney.
Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark.

Albert Wenzel Steinbach
Albert Wenzel Steinbach, 86, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Bella Vista, Ark., died Aug. 7, 2005, at Heritage Park Nursing Center in Rogers. He was born May 10, 1919, in Danbury, Iowa, to George Steinbach and Margaret Hasel Steinbach.
He married Mabel Bumann on Sept. 11, 1940. The couple moved to northwest Arkansas in 1970. He worked for developer John Cooper of Bella Vista. He was a charter member of the United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista. He worked for the Bella Vista Property Owners Association and was a member of the Bella Vista Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Steinbach; and two sisters, Margaret Ann McBean and Mary Olson.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Steinbach; and a sister, Leona Lucia of Bentonville, Ark.
A memorial service was held Aug. 11 at the United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista, Ark.
Memorials may be made to the United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road, Bella Vista, AR 72715.
Arrangements were by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.
