SPRINGDALE -- Garland Fay Collins, 68, of Springdale died July 11, 2003, in Springdale. He was born Nov. 19, 1934, in Tontitown to Gordon and Grace Kinsey Collins. He was a retired truck driver and service repairman from Turkey Express and Chicken Pullman. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Springdale. He was an Army veteran and enjoyed fishing and baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Viva Wolfe Collins, of the home; one son, Ronnie Collins, and his wife Jeanne of Springdale; one daughter, Rosa Shipp of Springdale; four brothers, Glendon Collins and George Collins, both of Springdale, Audie Collins of Bozeman, Mont., and Howard Collins of Bergman; one sister, Frances Tunstill of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God in Springdale with the Rev. Bob Fant, the Rev. J.W. Walker, the Rev. Bill Danner and the Rev. Paul Hill officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Falkner, William Collins, Kam Ghomghani, Derik Hill, Jay Lee Collins and Ernest Eldridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Logsdon, James Sizemore and Ken Fielding.
Priscilla Gates Austill
PRAIRIE GROVE -- Priscilla Gates Austill, 98, of Prairie Grove died July 11, 2003, at Medi Home Nursing Home in Prairie Grove. She was born May 30, 1905, in Long Beach, Calif., to Purl Otto and Mary Davis Gates. She was a member of New Sulphur Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Perry Austill and two sons, Kenneth Roger Austill and Robert Donald Austill.
Survivors include one son, David Paul Austill of Seligmen, Ariz.; one sister, Dorothea Dotson of Claremont, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Judy King, Linda Keeton, Janice McCann, David Austill, Clay Austill, Kenneth Austill, Grant Austill and Ronald Austill; 19 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Glen Faulkner and Justin Allen officiating.
Burial will be in Vaught Cemetery in Mountainburg. Memorials may be made to New Sulphur Freewill Baptist Church in Prairie Grove.
Everett O. Siegele
BELLA VISTA -- Everett O. Siegele, 82, a former resident of Bella Vista, died June 28, 2003, in Okemos, Mich. He was born March 18, 1921, in Emporia, Kan., to Otto and Carol Siegele. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 78th Lightning Division in Germany. He worked for General Motors for 40 years, beginning at the Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Kan., transferring to the Linden Assembly Plant in New Jersey and then the Arlington Assembly Plant in Texas before ending his career as a plant manager at the Janesville, Wis., automotive assembly plant in 1986. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Stoker Siegele, to whom he was married Dec. 27, 1943.
Survivors include five sons, Sieg of Kansas City, Mo., Terry of Shreveport, La., Rod of Overland Park, Kan., Tom of Wexford, Pa., and Bob of Okemos; one brother, Harold of Houston, Texas; 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bella Vista Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bella Vista Cemetery.

Jessie Brasel Hudson
JASPER -- Jessie Brasel Hudson, 92, of Jasper died July 11, 2003, at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper. She was born Oct. 26, 1910, at Parthenon to Richard and Arizona Casey Brasel. She was a housewife and a member of the Lone Beech United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Clyde Hudson, and a son, Sam Hudson.
Survivors include one son, Richard Hudson of Bentonville; three brothers, Walter Brasel of Jasper, Glen Brasel of Elm Springs and Joe Brasel of Coal Hill; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parthenon Baptist Church with Bobby Young and Cal Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery at Parthenon under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Garland Brasel, Roy Brasel, Buster Matlock, Gerald James, Lytle James and James Villines.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sherman A. Ross
FORT SMITH -- Sherman A. Ross, 74, of Fort Smith died July 12, 2003, in a hospital in Fort Smith. He was a retired firefighter from the Fort Smith fire department and the Spurling Fire Alarm Co. He was a deacon of the Bluff Avenue Baptist Church and a member of the C.D. Peoples Sunday school class and a member of the Bluff Avenue string band. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Rose, two daughters, Sharon Witten of Big Cabin, Okla., and Shirley Ross of Rogers; one son, Paul Ross of Fort Smith; one brother, James D. Ross of Berryville; six grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Putman Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Andy Ross, Joel Witten, Nathanael Witten, Sara Ross, Anna Witten and David Ross.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Bluff Avenue Baptist Church.

Reba Lucille Logue
BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -- Reba Lucille Logue, 92, of Bartlesville died March 29, 2003, at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. She was born Nov. 3, 1910, at Huntsville to William Smith and Eliza Dorsey Patterson. She retired from the Huntsville public school system in 1975 after 45 years of teaching. She graduated from the University of Arkansas, and she was a member of Drakes Creek Baptist Church. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville for many years.
Her husband, Noel Ezra Logue, died March 10, 1969.
Survivors include one daughter, Wilma Alice Logue of Barnsdall, Okla.; two nephews and one niece, including William Dennis of Springdale.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Cook officiating. Burial will be in Drakes Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny McCoy, Mike Haney, Jeff Ledbetter, Ruben Bowman, Wendell Easterling and Winford Phillips.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Huntsville.
