Arkansas, Marriage Certificates, 1917-1972

Charles L. 'Bo' Smith
SPRINGDALE -- Charles L. "Bo" Smith, 50, of Springdale died March 28, 2003, at his home. He was born Sept. 20, 1952, in Beardstown, Ill., to Daniel L. and Beatrice "Betty" Willis Smith.
He attended school in Beardstown and was a confirmed member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beardstown. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1970-72. His hobbies included fishing and trapping.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Smith of Springdale; his mother of Beardstown; two brothers, John Smith of Alliance, Neb., and Robert Smith of Clayton, Ill.; one sister, Kim Moranville of Beardstown.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Beardstown City Cemetery, with the Rev. David Natzke officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. today at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown.

Sandy Rader
ROGERS -- Sandy Rader, 53, of Rogers died March 29, 2003, at her home. Arrangements will be announced by Stockdale Funeral Services of Rogers.

Vance Ogden
PETTIGREW -- Vance Ogden, 86, of Pettigrew died March 29, 2003, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Arrangements will be announced by Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Martin Maxwell Ackley
WEST FORK -- Martin Maxwell Ackley, 85, of West Fork died March 29, 2003, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 31, 1917, in Pryor, Okla., to Jesse Martin Ackley and Ruth Anna Wright.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavada Ackley, who died in 1994, and one son, John Martin Ackley, and one grandson, Nathan Hill.
He was a member of the Zinnamon Community Church and a former resident of the Strickler community. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one son, Henry E. Ackley of Prairie Grove; six daughters, Ruth Montgomery of Springdale, Beverly Hite of Conway, Easter Keith of Phoenix, Ariz., Sheila Landelius of West Fork, Carol Owens of Prairie Grove and Holly A. Thomas of Springdale; one brother, John Ackley of Prairie Grove; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Dion Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Sanders Jr., Todd Hogan, Tracy Thomas, Thomas Bowlin, Alex Bowlin, Nolan Hite, Jeffery Landelius and Robert Landelius.

Frank C. Rawlings
FAYETTEVILLE -- Frank C. Rawlings, 78, of Fayetteville died March 28, 2003, in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 9, 1924, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Charles C. and Grace Cromwell Rawlings. He was a retired machinist and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include two brothers, Bob Rawlings of Prague, Okla., and Don Rawlings of Okmulgee; one sister, Bessie Irene Roberts of Los Angeles, Calif.
No services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home & Crematory of Fayetteville.

Mary K. Dryden
ROGERS -- Mary K. Dryden, 73, of Rogers died March 28, 2003, at her home. She was born July 15, 1929, in Morris, Okla., to Edwin M. and Mary Elizabeth Benedum Silcott. She married Bob Dryden on March 17, 1950, and he preceded her in death.
She moved to Rogers in 1970 from Oklahoma City, Okla.
Survivors include one brother, Ben Silcott of Rogers; one sister, Betty Gill of Muskogee, Okla.; and two cousins.
A graveside funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Okmulgee City Cemetery in Okmulgee, Okla., with the Rev. Phil Ball officiating.
No visitation is planned.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Rogers.

Lyda White
SPRINGDALE -- Lyda White, 85, of Springdale died March 29, 2003, in Springdale. Arrangements will be announced by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.

Bill Denman
PEA RIDGE -- Bill Denman, 72, of Pea Ridge died July 4, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Hominy, Okla., to Alvie and Viveon C. Knowlton Denman. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, serving as a sergeant. He later joined the Air Force where he was a staff sergeant. He moved to Pea Ridge in 1963 from Chicago, Ill. He was owner and operator of the Cities Service Station in Pea Ridge for 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, Aline of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Paula Sinclair and husband Victor of Joplin, Mo.; two sons, Michael Wayne Denman of Owasso, Okla., and John David Denman of Rogers; three grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
The family requests no flowers, please. A private memorial service will be held.

Leighanne Parker
ROGERS -- Leighanne Parker, 38, of Rogers died July 6, 2003, at her home. She was born Nov. 22, 1964, in Fort Smith to Victor Vernon Graves Jr. and Lena Mae Glass. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell and was a longtime paramedic with Central EMS in Washington County.
Survivors include her mother of Fayetteville; her father of Van Buren; one sister, Vickie Lynn Jones of Van Buren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Chip Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Memorials may be made to the Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell.
