Patricia Moffett Shriver
BENTONVILLE -- Patricia Lorraine Moffett Shriver, 58, of Bentonville died Aug. 2, 2003, at her home. She was born Jan. 2, 1945, in Estherville, Iowa, to Dale Leslie and Lorraine Oddson Moffett. She graduated from the Omaha, Neb., School of Business and worked for many years for the Home Federal Savings and Loan in Spencer, Iowa.
She moved to Bentonville in 1980, and owned and operated a Bed and Bath store. Most recently, she had a business where she specialized as a window decorator. She was president of the Benton County Women's Shelter board for eight years, and she attended the Hiwasse Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Richard Shriver of the home; four sons, Dennis Shriver of Liberal, Kan., Dale Shriver of Bentonville, Michael Shriver and wife Charlene of Calumet, Iowa, and Mark Shriver and wife Deborah of Sutherland, Iowa; her mother, Lorraine Smith and husband Linus of Jackson, Minn.; four brothers, Bob Moffett of Welcome, Minn., Dennis Moffett of Dunnell, Minn., Allan Moffett of Taylor, Mo., and Michael Smith of Jackson, Minn.; one sister, Donna Barnhart of Wheaton, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hiwasse Christian Church, with the Rev. Mark Golaway officiating. Burial will be in Bella Vista Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.

Cecil Henson
PEA RIDGE -- Cecil Wayne Henson, 77, of Pea Ridge died Aug. 2, 2003, at Brighton House Nursing Home in Rogers. Arrangements will be announced by Benton County Funeral Home in Bentonville.
Billy Bonds
CENTERTON -- Billy Wayne Bonds, 69, of Centerton died Aug. 3, 2003, at his home. Arrangements will be announced by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Bentonville.
Sylvia Jones
DRY FORK -- Sylvia Jones, 81, of the Dry Fork community died Aug. 5, 2003, at her home. She was born July 1, 1922, in Clear Water to Wesley and Nora Emitt Miller. She was a member of Marble United Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She married Edward Jones on May 31, 1942.
Survivors include her husband, Edward of the home; one son, Carroll Jones and wife Flois of Springdale; one granddaughter, Elizabeth; three step-grandchildren, Carolyn, Frank and Tommy; two great-grandchildren, Linda and Cody; three step-great-grandchildren, Rachel, Brayon and Ashley.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Service in Berryville with the Rev. Jerry Spurlock officiating.
Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
Joshua Quinn Snodgrass
Joshua Quinn Snodgrass, 24, of Crown Point, Ind., died at 3:30 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2003. Joshua was born on January 6, 1979, in Hobart, Ind., to Thomas Snodgrass and Darla Nykamp.
Joshua served his country in the Navy from 1997 through 2000 and was a medical student at Indiana University Northwest.
He is survived by two daughters, Kailyn Victoria, 6, and Elizabeth Alice, 2; two sisters, Bonnie, 23, and Jasmin, 5; several grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and his girlfriend, Michelle Trent.
Funeral services were July 29 at Burns Funeral Home. The Rev. Dan Lang officiated. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Portage, Ind.
Cecil W. Henson
PEA RIDGE -- Cecil Wayne Henson, 77, of Pea Ridge died Aug. 2, 2003, at Rogers. He was born Nov. 9, 1925, in Corsicana, Texas, to Cecil and Beatrice Webb Henson. He was a Navy veteran and had worked for Zestee Food in Oklahoma City, Okla. He owned WH Trucking in Oklahoma City and was a retired dispatcher from J.B. Hunt Transportation in Lowell. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Dustin Casey.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Williams and Debbie Casey, both of Bradenton, Fla.; two sons, David and Albert Henson, both of Oklahoma City; one stepdaughter, Jo Jones of Bentonville; one stepson, Harold Holloway; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pea Ridge Cemetery with Rick Whittle officiating. Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home, Bentonville.
Howard P. Logston
BENTONVILLE -- Howard P. Logston, 71, of Bentonville died Aug. 5, 2003, at Bentonville Manor Nursing Home. He was born Nov. 5, 1931, in Lyndon, Ky., to Tom and Merty Hulse Logston. He was an Army veteran of the Medical Corps 6th Infantry Regiment. He was a former professional wrestler in Ohio and northern Kentucky. He moved to Northwest Arkansas 28 years ago from Dayton, Ohio. He was a welder/machinist and a member of the American Legion Post 100 in Rogers and the First Assembly of God in Bentonville. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Logston of Bentonville; two sons, Donald Logston of Washburn, Mo., and Lonnie Logston of Dayton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God in Bentonville with the Rev. James Longmate officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Burial with military honors will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
Leona Gobel
PEA RIDGE -- Leona Edith Gobel, 69, of Pea Ridge died Aug. 5, 2003, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County, Bentonville. She was born Aug. 20, 1933, to Andrew C. and Agnes Baillie Gobel in Hyannis, Neb. She was formerly of Westerville, Neb., and Broken Bow, Neb., where she completed high school. She drove a bus for the Anselmo-Merna, Neb., schools for many years and also drove a mail truck. She was a volunteer EMT and moved to Hastings, Neb., in 1985. She drove the Zion Lutheran Church school bus and was a CAN and home health aide for Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital and Sunnyside Retirement Home. In November 2002, she moved to Pea Ridge. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Hastings, the American Legion Auxiliary for 39 years and the 8 and 40 Auxiliary Sacajawea Salon 716. She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter.
Survivors include one son, Robert Allen and wife Roseann of Grand Island, Neb.; two daughters, Jean Green and husband Jim of Lexington, Neb., and Sandra Hedlund and husband Alan of Pea Ridge; one brother, Chauncey Gobel of Grand Island; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services are pending at Brand-Wilson Mortuary in Hastings.
Local arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
