Othel Daniel Eskew Polk died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, in a Nashville hospital. She was born February 7, 1917, at Belton, Arkansas the daughter of the late Wylie and Ellen Lingo Daniel.
She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ.
Mrs. Polk was preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon Eskew, two brothers, Gus Daniel and Gentry Daniel, and one sister, Ruth Flaherty.
She is survived by one brother, Ralph Daniel, of Nashville, AR; nephews Jack Daniel, Danny Daniel, and Lavon Flaherty of Nashville, AR; and nieces Donnell Woods, Diane James, and Nita Epton all of Nashville, AR; and Judy Ellard and Bonnie Franks of Marshall, TX.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., March 9, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Ray Nation officiating, burial to follow in Avery’s Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, March 8 at Latimer Funeral Home.

Charline McLarey Archer died March 3, 2008, in Conway, AR, after a short illness. Mrs. Archer was born December 14, 1930, to Charles Downs McLarey, Jr. and Josie Earline (Fincher) McLarey in Okay, AR. She returned to Saratoga High School in 1963 to finish her senior year and graduate, and she was a long time resident of Texarkana, AR.
Mrs. Archer was preceded in death by her daughter Corliss Archer Lamb, and one son, Arliss Leo Archer, Jr.
She is survived by one sister, Myra McLarey of Franklin, TN, one son, Chuck Archer of Mayflower, AR, one daughter –in-law, Karin Archer of Royal, AR, Four granddaughters, Annette Fay and Rena Koon of Vilonia, AR, Charissa Barnes of Las Vegas, NV, and Anna Archer of Royal, AR, seven grandsons, Alan Parson of Nashville, AR, Ryan Parson of Little Rock,AR, Kevin Archer of Royal, AR, Michael, Chris, Taylor and TJ Archer of Mayflower, AR, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a long time companion, Greg Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Humane Society.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 8, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Brady Peterson, Jr. officiating, burial in Saratoga Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

Lillian Lee McCullough, 98, of Nashville, died Friday, February 29, 2008 in Nashville. She was born on January 1, 1910 in Highland, Arkansas the daughter of the late Rush M. and Alabama Susan (Baker) Harris.
She was a retired nursing aide with Nashville Nursing Home and member of the Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Hawkins McCullough, two brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy McCullough of Euless, Texas and Jackie Leon McCullough of Dierks; three daughters, Betty Feemster of Mineral Springs, Donna Fricks of Ashdown, and Sammye Gentry of Yantis, Texas; one brother, Deck Harris of Lapine, Oregon; seventeen grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs with Bro. Chris Wright officiating. Burial will be in Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, March 3, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M at Latimer Funeral Home.
Clarence Savage

Clarence Savage, 86, of Nashville died Sunday, May 13, 2007, at his home. He was born April 6, 1921, at The Plains, Ohio, the son of the late Peter and Grace Savage.
He was retired from GN&A Railroad.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School for 10-year-old boys for many years, he also served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Lions Club, Pleasant Valley Masonic Lodge for 50 years, Board of Directors at GN&A Railroad, and Howard County Airport Commission. He coached Little League Baseball for 16 years and was a Pilot and an avid golfer. He was a veteran.
Mr. Savage was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Erma Louise Dildy Savage of Nashville, AR; one son, Steve Savage and wife, Renee of Tulsa, OK; four nieces, two nephews and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 15, at First Baptist Church, with Dr. David Blasé officiating, burial in Bluff Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Christian Health Clinic of Howard County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, May 14, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

Mary Margaret Myrick, 83, of Nashville, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at a Nashville nursing home. She was born February 25, 1924, at Ozan, AR, the daughter of the late Edward and Dean Smith.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Mineral Springs, AR. She was retired from Wal-Mart in Nashville.
Mrs. Myrick was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Myrick, Jr., one daughter, Kathy Myrick Collins and one brother, Gilbert Smith.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane Woodley and husband, Rex, of Mineral Springs, AR; one sister, Louise Webb of Tyler, TX; four grandchildren, Casey Collins Schrier, Kyle Collins, Nikki Woodley, and Scott Woodley; two great-grandchildren.and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 9, at Restland Memorial Park, with Bro. Chris Wright officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.

J.C. Bagwell, 75, of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at his home. He was born August 30, 1931, in Boto, AR., the son of the late Claude and Era Bell Bagwell.
He was a welder for the Dixie Equipment Company and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union.
Mr. Bagwell was preceded in death by his wife Maudie May Bagwell; and one brother James Wallace Bagwell.
Survivors include four sons; Johnny Bagwell of Jacksonville, AR; Jimmy Bagwell of Boto, AR; Jerry Bagwell of Jacksonville, AR; and Jeffery Bagwell of Rowlett, TX. One brother Raymond Bagwell of Monticello, AR., and eight grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 30, at Hickory Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Freeman Henderson officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home – Murfreesboro.
Thomas Wendell Jackson

Thomas Wendell Jackson, 91, of Nashville, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at a Nashville nursing home. He was born January 16, 1916, at Umpire, AR, the son of the late Jesse R. and Emma D. Pate Jackson.
He graduated from Hendrix College. He loved playing golf at the Nashville Country Club.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by one son, James Rex Jackson; two brothers, Odie Jackson and Wallace Jackson.
He is survived by his wife Regar Woodruff Jackson of Nashville, to whom he would have been married to for 66 years on, April 27th, as well a several nieces, nephews and cousin.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 26, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, burial in Nashville Cemetery .
