Linda Slattery
Linda Gail (Fisher) Slattery, 29, of Spearville, Kan. died Friday, May 11, 2001, at a hospital in Dodge City, Kan.
She was a homemaker and attended the Federated Church in Spearville, Kan.
Survivors include her husband, Nathan Slattery of Spearville, Kan.; her parents, George Fisher and Frieda Fisher, both of Van Buren; two sons, Eric Slattery and Nathaniel Slattery; one daughter, Katelynn Slattery; two brothers David Fisher and Steven Fisher, both of Van Buren; her grandmother, Thelma Morris of Arkhoma, Okla.; and a step-mother, Paula Fisher of Van Buren.
Funeral service was held May 15 at Federated Church in Spearville, Kan.
Burial was held at St. Andrews Cemetery in Wright, Kan.
Memorial contributions can be made to Linda Slattery’s Children Education Fund.

Thomas Beckham
Thomas Eugene Beckham, 57, of Boca Raton, Fla. died Thursday, May 10, 2001, at a Florida hospital. He was a chief engineer at List Industries in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Beckham; one daughter, Melissa Keller of Fort Smith; one son, Mark Lee Beckham of Hartford; and three grandchildren, Addison, Austin and Joshua.
Funeral service was held May 14 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren.
Burial was held at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were J.W. Dugan, Robbie Dugan, Stephen Hatcher, Jeremy Bollinger, Joshua Sherman, Barry Presson, Eric Dugan and Patrick Dugan.
Honorary pallbearers were Jim Dugan, James Wilman and Ronnie Roe.

Linda Rowland
Linda Jean Rowland, 49, of Mountainburg died Friday, May 11, 2001.
She was a former resident of Fayetteville and member of Locke Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Rowland; one daughter, Renee Masa of Winslow; five sons, Jimmy Dale Willson of Elkins, David Allen Willson of Mulberry, Derek Rowland of Mountainburg, Jeff Rowland of Springdale and Michael Rowland of Fairborn, Ohio; three sisters, Elaine Tash of Alma, Beverly Donaldson and Patricia Gregory, both of Mountainburg; two brothers, Alvin Spears of Mountainburg and Roger Spears of Mulberry; and six grandchildren.
Funeral service was held May 15 at Locke Freewill Baptist Church.
Burial was held at Locke Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Willson, David Willson, Heath Spears, Kevin Spears, Matthew Spears, Eric Spears, Joseph Brewer, Jeff Rowland and Michael Rowland.

Elbert Frazier
Elbert Ellis “Pug” Frazier, 62, of Ozark died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at a local hospital.
He was self-employed and a Pentecostal.
Survivors include his wife Wanda Frazier; one son, Mike Frazier; his stepmother, Cora Frazier; five sisters, Wanda Murphy, Betty Moore and Sylvia Frazier, all of Van Buren, Emma Lois Welch of Bakersfield, Calif. and Irene Cowan of Mulberry; four brothers, Delmar Frazier of Medford, Okla., Von Frazier and Carroll Frazier, both of Van Buren and Raymond Frazier of Alma; two grandchildren, Duane and Kendall, both of Ozark; and one great-grandchild, Austin of Ozark.
Funeral service was held May 14 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was at Oak Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Pallbearers were Dale Jones, Dennis Harris, Jim Easom, J.D. Ellison, Charles George and Leonard George.
Honorary pallbearers were his nephews.
