Elizabeth Krause
Elizabeth A. Krause, 61, of Jay, Okla. died Tuesday, April 24, 2001, in Grove, Okla. She was a computer specialist for Fabricut Inc., a 1956 graduate of Central High School in Tulsa, Okla., 1st Class Girl Scout and a member of First Methodist Church in Tulsa, Okla.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie Krause; one daughter, Anita Y. Krause Davis of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Kenneth A. Krause of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four grandchildren, Matthew Krause of Broken Arrow, Okla., Ellisa Davis, Shannon Davis and Glenn Davis, all of Jacksonville, Fla.
Funeral service was held April 27 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial was held at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.

Elmer Dutton
Elmer David Dutton, 91, of Alma died Tuesday, April 24, 2001. He was a retired coal miner, retired cheese maker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Dutton.
Survivors include two daughters, Legenia Oakes of Alma and Naomi Bealer of Van Buren; two sons, Paul Dutton of Bettendorf, Iowa and David Dutton of Orlando, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held April 28 at Ocker Chapel of Alma. Burial was at Gregory Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Lloyd Shores, Odel Shores, Jackie Gregory, Bobby Wall, Calvin Dutton and Melvin Dutton.

Gene Hamlin
Gene D. Hamlin, 61, of Alma died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at a local hospital. He was the owner of Hamlin Wholesale Furniture and a member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; one daughter, Kymberly Ann Pope of Kibler; one son, Steven Gene Hamlin of Van Buren; two sisters, Mary Jarrett of Fort Smith and Kathy Moore of Rudy; two brothers, Jerry Hamlin of Greenwood, Neil Hamlin of Mountainburg; four grandchildren, Mary Breanne Dahlke and Kyle Pope, both of Kibler, Cody Steven Hamlin of Van Buren and Dustin Pope of Fort Smith.
Funeral service was held April 28 at Butterfield Assembly of God Church. Burial was at Steward Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Dirk Hamlin, Keith Hamlin, Wade Landers, Mickey Landers, Donnie Hooten, Kenny Hooten, Michael Brammer and Ryan McKinnie.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 1751, Van Buren, Ark. 72957.

Eula Sumner
Eula Mae Sumner, 97, of Mulberry died Friday, April 20, 2001. She was a homemaker, member of Mt. Zion Regular Baptist Church in Mulberry and the widow of Ben Sumner.
Survivors include two daughters, Roxie Gilbert of Cincinnati, Ohio., and Delphia Morse of Alma; one son Clinton Sumner of Mulberry; one sister, Avanelle Carter of Mississippi; three brothers Bill Jones and Carol Jones, both of Ozark, and Jim Jones of Kansas City, Kan.; nine grandchildren, 22 great-children and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held April 21 at Mt. Zion Regular Baptist Church. Burial was at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Pallbearers were Carl Jones, Billy Jones, Gary Sumner, Don Herd, Ted Gilbert and Mark Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Gilbert, Lomer Morse, Clyman Young, Eugene Whitlock, Arlis Jones and members of Sandy Chapel Church.
