Jerry Householder
Jerry David Householder, 59, of Mountainburg died Monday, April 16, 2001. He was a retired truck driver and Army veteran of Vietnam.
Survivors include his father, Doyle Householder of Marmaduke; three sons, Eddie Wayne Householder of Truman, Billy Joe Householder of Jonesboro and Bobby Joe Householder of Mountainburg; four sisters, Wanda Blankenship of Sardis, Tenn., Jenola Wells of Groveland, Fla., Vickie Woods of Jonesboro and Ann Burnside of Becker, Miss.; three brothers, Kenneth Householder of Lake City, Gale Householder of Mountainburg and Joe Householder of Rudy; and six grandchildren.
Funeral service was held April 19 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel. Burial was at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Ben Porter
Ben Frank Porter, 91, of Arkoma, Okla., died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at a local nursing home. He was a retired farmer, Protestant, Army veteran of World War II, former member of the Board of Directors of Crawford County Farm Bureau and instrumental in starting the Alma Nutrition Center.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Porter; two sons, Joe Porter of England and Glen Porter of Arkoma, Okla.; one sister, Hazel Brown of Alma; two brothers, John Porter and Stewart Porter, both of Dyer; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held April 18 at Putman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers were Todd Medlock, Toby Medlock, Mike Medlock, Chuck Clark, Docky Brasher Jr., Manford Burris, Randy Bradley and Rusty Medlock.

Marlene Reynolds
Marlene Reynolds, 54, of Mulberry died Monday, April 16, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a former employee of Allen Canning Company and member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Archie; one son, Danny Reynolds of Mulberry; and one brother, Ricky Dean Wallace of Mulberry.
Funeral service was held April 19 at Graphic Community Building. Burial was at Pope Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Pallbearers were Junior Brooks, Adrian Nelson, Dolen Nelson, Timothy Presley, Tom Presley, Phillip Pixley and Delbert Wallace.

Edna Wright
Edna Faye Wright, 91, of Mountainburg died Friday, April 13, 2001, at a local nursing home. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star Clear Creek Chapter #196 and member, as well as pianist, of the Pigeon Creek Free Will Baptist Church in Mountainburg.
Funeral service was held April 16 at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma. Burial was at Conley Cemetery in Mountainburg under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles G. Wright. Survivors include two daughters, Jimmie Dean Bailey of Mountainburg and Peggy Sue Chapen of Alma; one brother, Charles Kelly of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, Lynn Colley of Barling, Bubba Bailey of Kibler, Amy Wilmoth of Fort Smith, Emily Rucker, Carol Gaither, Linda Phillips and April Ogilive, all of Alma; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were great-grandsons, K.C. Colley, Andrew Bailey, Jeremy Shores, Jordan Shores, Chapen Rucker and Clayton Ogilive.
