Johnnie Ware
Johnnie Ray Ware, 60, of Dora, Okla., died Friday, April 6, 2001, in Dora. He was a retired truck driver for Gorden's Trucking.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia McCann of Charleston, Debbie Neal of Fort Smith and Jennifer Ware of Alma; two sons, John H. Ware of Van Buren and John L. Ware of Alma; one brothers, Jerald Ware of Dardanelle; and five grandchildren, Brandon Hubbard, Amanda and Dax Rofkahr, Justin Ware and Drew Neal.
Funeral service was held April 17 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Johnny Bennett, Glenn Cooksey, Bill Campbell, Jack Neilson, Glenn Chitwood, Ronnie Coble, Paul Brown and Tommy Greer.

Colene Gandy
Colene Gandy, 64, of Fort Smith died Friday, April 6, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a former parts manager for the Chrysler dealership, Methodist, member of the Action Squad C.B. Club and formerly known as Penelope Pitstop.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; two daughters, Sheryl Smithson of Winder, Ga., and Tina Gandy of Little Rock; one son, Richard Jones of Fort Smith; one sister, Patt Smith of Covington, Ga.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held April 9 at Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Gill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rick Taylor, John Layes, Johnny Cox, Matthew Pemaley, David Adrion and David Urias.

William Morris
William Dean Morris, 68, of Van Buren died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at a Little Rock hospital. He was an operating engineer for Lone Star Sand Plant in Marina, Calif.
Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Wyndham and Linda Chamber, both of Escondido, Calif., and Susan Eastman of Cottonwood, Calif.; one son, Scott Morris of Castroville, Calif.; one sister, Anne Jacobs of Portland, Ore.; and six grandchildren.
The body was cremated under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Stephanie Wagner
Stephanie Dawn Wagner, 15, of Mulberry died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, in Mulberry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mulberry, Junior Angus Association and Junior Quarter Horse Association, 10th grade student at Alma High School, former member of the Dandies and a 4:13 rider.
Survivors include her parents, Kendale and Lisa Wagner of Mulberry and Jerry Gilbow of Fayetteville; one sister, Natalie; one brother, Jonathan; paternal grandparents, Betty Wagner of Mulberry and Lonnie and Billie Gilbow of Fayetteville; and maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Avey of Mulberry.
Funeral service was held April 14 at Ocker Chapel of Alma. Burial was at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Brett Baker, John Baker, Nathan Baker, Cliff Boyd, Stuart Boyd and Capt. Robert Reed. Honorary pallbearers were members of the 4:13 riders.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stephanie Wagner Memorial Fund, Cross Road Minister, 4:13 Riders, P.O. Box 445 Mountainburg, Ark., 71916.
