Charles Coleman
Charles Ray Coleman, 69, of Arkadelphia, formerly of Van Buren, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, in Arkadelphia.
He was a retired vice president for Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith and Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Norma White Coleman; three daughters, Amy Eubanks of Arkadelphia, Beth Lawson of St. Louis and Jane Watkins of Van Buren; one son, Benjamin Coleman of Big Sky, Mont.; three sisters, Marie Combs and Dorothy White, both of Fort Smith, and Georgia Doyel of Ozark; two brothers, Joe Coleman of Fort Smith and J.T. Coleman of Greenwood; and six granddaughters.
Funeral service was held Feb. 17 at First Baptist Church in Van Buren.
Burial was at Vaught Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Hospice, 3050 Twin Rivers Drive, Arkadelphia, Ark., 71923.

Jimmy Payne
Jimmy Payne, 65, of Cedarville died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Cedarville and retired self-employed construction worker.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight Payne and Randy Payne, both of Cedarville; four sisters, Elsie Hodges, May Dale Clav and Amy Powell, all of Van Buren, and Stella Powell of Tahlequah; and six grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Feb. 20 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren.
Burial was at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Danny Jackson, Jimmy Brown, Timmy Brown, Pete Fain, Gerald Henson and Richard Emberton.

Jewel Pound
Jewel Pound, 57, of Van Buren died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at a local hospital.
She was a Christian, songwriter, musician and homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Thomson of Barling; one son, James Pound of Van Buren; five sisters, Georgia Abdo of Ohio, Emma Bullington of Van Buren, Nadine Smith of Bokoshe, Evelyn Pavusa of Idlawylde Park, Ore., and Linda Harper of Pam Springs, Calif.; and one brother, David Smith of Moore, Okla.
The body was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Joyce Williams
Joyce Wanda Williams, 71, of Cedarville died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at a local hospital.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Easter of Cedarville; four sons, Monty Davidson of Cedarville, Bill Williams of Greenwood, Willie Williams of Fort Smith and James Williams of Elk City, Okla.; one sister, Ruby Bearden of Van Buren; two brothers, Wesley Adams of Prairie Grove and Don Adams of Van Buren; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Feb. 20 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel.
Burial was at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Shawn Barber, E.D. Barber, Emery Adams, Henry Edwards, Joe Brown, Johnny Suggs, Manuel Castro and Jeffrey Sowells.
