Biographical And Historical Memoirs of Pulaski, Jefferson, Lonoke, Faulkner, Grant, Saline, Perry, Garland And Hot Spring Counties, Arkansas

Larry Steadman
Larry Steadman, 50, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at a hospital. He was a construction worker for Cooper Construction Co. and a Freewill Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Tressa; three daughters, April Steadman of Oklahoma City and Mary Steadman and Kathleen Steadman, both of Clare, Okla.; one brother, Perry Steadman of Oklahoma City; two grandsons, Travis and Joshua Steadman, both of Clare, Okla., and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service was held Dec. 20 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren.

Herman Brasuell
Herman Brasuell, 73, of Sallisaw died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at a local nursing home. The native of Crawford County bred, raised and raced quarterhorses.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Virginia; three daughters, Terri Breasuell of Placerville, Calif., Susan Neighbors of Carson City, Nev., and Nina Brasuell of Whittier, Calif.; his mother, Mary Brasuell of Sallisaw; two sisters, Sula Brasuell of LaHabre, Calif., and Mary Lou Brasuell of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; one brother, Rodney Brasuell of Southgate, Calif.; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral service was held Dec. 15 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.

Rosemary Collins
Rosemary A. Collins, 44, of Van Buren died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at her home. She was a housekeeper for OK Foods.
Survivors include two daughters, Cristy Gralish and Jennifer Eck, both of Van Buren; her mother, Stella Collins of Van Buren; and one brother, Jeffrey Collins of Columbus, Ohio.
Graveside service was held Dec. 19 at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Justin, Anthony and Jeremy Gregory, Jamie Jerrell, Justin Combs and Ronnie Smith.

Miraya Sallee
Miraya Lee Sallee, infant daughter of Miraya and Terry Sallee of Van Buren, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2000, at a Little Rock Hospital.
Other survivors include a twin brother, Hunter Newt Sallee of the home; paternal grandparents, Wanda Sallee of Van Buren and Linda Sallee of Fort Smith; maternal grandparent, Jean Teague of Alma; maternal great-grandparents, Burlin and Ruth Elma Keys of Fort Gibson, Okla.; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside service was held Dec. 16 at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Rhoda Robison
Rhoda Robison, 90, of Van Buren died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at a local nursing home. She was a homemaker, member of Freewill Full Gospel Tabernacle in Arkoma and widow of Clarence Robison.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruby Ming of Van Buren and Ellen Tinsley of Bakersfield, Calif.; two sons, David Robison of Fort Smith and Dean Robison of Arkoma; one sister, Lucille Fortney of Fairfield, Calif.; two brothers, Ray Lape and Russell Lape, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Dec. 14 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial was at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Willie Ming, David Robison, Earl Robison, Charles Robison, Allen Robison and Danny Trevino. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Robison, William Robison, Glenn Berry and Andre Ming.
