K.M. Montgomery
K.M. "Kay" Montgomery, 88, a native of Uniontown, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001 in Tulsa
Survivors include his wife, Marquerite; one daughter, Rita Robbins of Tulsa; one sister, Hazel Lindstrom of Van Buren; and two grandchildren, Mason and Cody Gregg of Tulsa.
Funeral service was held Feb. 10 at Moore's Eastlawn in Tulsa. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Cas Wagner
Cas M. Wagner, 79, of Ozark died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at a local hospital. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Mulberry, former member of Mulberry and Pleasant View School Board, Pleasant View Water Board, Board of Education in Franklin County and Franklin County Equalization Board, Army veteran of World War II, member of the Cattlemen's Association and 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; one daughter, Darlene Rath of Marietta, Ga.; two sons, Alston Wagner of Mulberry and Kendale Wagner of Ozark; one brother, Otis Wagner of Mulberry; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Feb. 16 at First Baptist Church in Mulberry. Burial was at New Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Gerald Nelms Jr.
Gerald Winston Nelms Jr., 60, of Chester died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at a local hospital. He was a self-employed businessman.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Nelms; one daughter, Karen Mineely of Tulsa; three sons, Kevin Nelms of Watkinsville, Ga., Stephen Nelms of Winslow and David Nelms of Bethlehem, Ga.; his mother, Dorothy Nelms of San Angelo, Texas; one sister, Ann Williams of San Angelo, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Feb. 17 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in San Angelo, Texas. Burial was at Lawn Haven Cemetery in San Angelo. Local arrangements were under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

J.L. Partlow
J.L. Partlow, 71, of Amarillo, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, in Amarillo. He was a former resident of Mulberry, retired cotton farmer and Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; one daughter, Pam Vaughn of Amarillo; two sons, James Partlow of Roswell, N.M., and Joe Partlow of Lubbock, Texas; his mother, Jewell Daniel of Mulberry; one sister, Zetta Daniel of Klamath Falls, Ore.; four brothers, David Partlow and Mike Daniel, both of Mulberry, Clarence Partlow of Fort Smith and Ed Daniel of Tulsa; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service was held Feb. 17 at Vine Prairie Baptist Church in Mulberry. Burial was at King Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.

Wilma Shepherd
Wilma Virginia Shepherd, 84, of Mountainburg died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at her home. She was a member of Mountainburg Presbyterian Church, homemaker and widow of Glen Shepherd.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Lewis of Mountainburg; four sons, Roy, Don, Jay and Joe Shepherd, all of Mountainburg; one sister, Jean Whitney of Portland, Ore.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Feb. 17 at Mountainburg Presbyterian Church. Burial was at Conley Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Pallbearers were Mike Shepherd, Roy Shepherd Jr., Troy Dale Shepherd, Justin Lewis, Ed Shepherd and Jarrett Shepherd.
