Susan Grinnell
Susan Denise Goodwin Grinnell, 39, of Mountainburg, formerly of Big Sandy, Tenn., died Thursday, May 15, 2003, at a Galveston, Texas, hospital. She was a construction worker and former resident of Big Sandy, Tenn.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Local arrangements under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Grinnell of Big Sandy, Tenn.; two sons, Albert Henson of Jackson, Ky., and A.J. Grinnell of Big Sandy, Tenn.; her parents, Wayne and Doris Goodwin of Mountainburg; a sister, Teresa Bryan of Fort Smith; a brother, Walt Goodwin of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and her grandmothers, Lydia Webb of Van Buren and Woodie Ward of McEwen, Tenn.

John Vinson
John Edward Vinson, 59, of Van Buren died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at his home. He was a member of the Mulberry United Methodist Church and a retired manager of the Hunt’s Department Store. He was a past member and president of the Sertoma Club, past president of the Cloverleaf Association and a former employee of Rhodes Chevrolet.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Benham Vinson of Van Buren; one son, John Allan Vinson and his wife, Sarah, of Little Rock; his mother, Mabel Vinson of Knightdale, N.C.; one sister, Mary Crozier of Elsberry, Mo.; one brother, Dan Vinson of Youngsville, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held May 17 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial was at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Robert Gregory, Joey Benham, Kevin Jones Marc Crozier, Justin Boyd and Michael Gregory. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Don Pennington, David Harris, Tom Harris, James Griffin, A.C. Champion, D. Dane Warnock, Daniel Bryant and Gabe Roy.

Margaret Pinkerton
Margaret Newman Pinkerton, 81, of Van Buren died Thursday, May 15, 2003, at a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith, graduate of Alma High School class of 1940 and retired cook.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Pinkerton Skillern of Houston; two sons, Roland Pinkerton Jr. of Fort Smith and Darryl Pinkerton of Van Buren; three grandsons, one great-granddaughter, three nieces and two nephews.
The body was cremated under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Frances Henninger
Frances O. Henninger, 81, of Mountainburg died Friday, May 16, 2003, at a nursing home. She was a member of Revis Hill Assembly of God Church, retired nurse for Southern California Hospital, member of the Gideons Auxiliary and widow of Hilton L. Henninger.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Hooper of Oklahoma; one son, William R. Kirkhardt of Mountainburg; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was held May 19 at Pope Cemetery in Mountainburg under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Lindalee Humphrey
Lindalee Alice Humphrey, 56, of Alma died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at her home. She was an employee of Pradco and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin L. Humphrey; one daughter, Patricia Strickland of Conway; four sons, Marvin J. and Johnny Humphrey, both of Mulberry, and Paul and Keith Humphrey, both of Mississippi; three brothers, Billy, Michael and Johnny Adden; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral service was held May 17 at Ocker Chapel of Alma. The body was cremated under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
