Eules Huggins
Eules L. Huggins, 71, of Van Buren died Friday, May 10, 2002, at a local hospital. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Margie; three daughters, Mae Perryman and Lisa Huggins, both of Van Buren, and Patricia Hale of Texas; four sons, Billy, Terry and Eugene, all of Van Buren, and Danny of Texas; a sister, Opel Walden of Mulberry; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside service was held May 13 at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Mulberry.
Pallbearers were Danny, Billy and Eugene Huggins, Rick and Rickey Perryman and Rick Hale.
Bobby Hyde
Bobby Gay Hyde, 36, of Alma died Friday, May 10, 2002. He was a department manager for Wal-Mart in Van Buren and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; two daughters, Rachel Hyde of the home and Erin Dalton of Alma; two sons, J.C. and David, both of the home; his father, Melvin Hyde of Van Buren; his grandparents, Herbert and Sylvia Hyde of Van Buren; and a half brother, Gary Holman of Van Buren.
Funeral service were held May 14 at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial was at Macedonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chad Graham, Mark Shelton, Billy Warren, Donald Swaim, Rick Dodson and Bill Swaim.
Stewart Condren
Stewart M. Condren, 83 of Fort Smith died Friday, May 10, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Van Buren. He retired from First America Federal Savings and Loan. He had a dual membership in the Belle Point No. 20 and Van Buren No. 6 Blue Lodge, was treasurer for Scottish Rite 33rd Degree, York Rite, Red Cross of Constantine, a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, past president of Arkansas Savings and Loan League and Arkansas Financial Services Association and a longtime worker for Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, Dr. Mike Condren of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, LaVern Graham of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Virginia and Matthew Condren.
Funeral service was held May 13 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith.
Pallbearers were John Ayers, Richard Skinner, Greg Graham, Gary and Tom Condren and David Armbruster.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Van Buren, 108 South 10th St., Van Buren, AR 72956.
Ruby Littrell
Ruby Swaim Littrell, 94, of Fort Smith died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Assembly of God.
Survivors include a son, James Swaim of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was held May 14 at Macedonia Cemetery Arbor under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Rhonda Wells
Rhonda Lynn Wells, 43, of Van Buren died Saturday, May 11, 2002, at a local hospital. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey; a daughter, Kristall Hays of Fort Smith; two stepdaughters, Nikki Silmon of Bryant and Brooke Wells of Fort Smith; her parents, Carolyn Brewer of Van Buren and Ronald Goins of Pocola; three sisters, Shannon Cowan and Erin Smith-Bauer, both of Van Buren, and Robin Jackson of Alma; two brothers, Michael Smith of Van Buren and Patrick Smith of Chester; and seven grandchildren
Graveside service was held May 14 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Masoleum under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Phyllis Morton, Nancy Stevens, Allen and Shawn Jones, Kay Lynn Wilkerson and Susan Criser.
