Mike L. Buckner
Mike L. Buckner, 66, of Knoxville died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at his home.
He was a son of the late Thomas Garfield and Marchie Vivian Leamon Buckner, native of Athens, Tenn., retired after 25 years from the United States Marine Corps as a gunnery sergeant, member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans, and was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Cliff, Joey and Dale Buckner; and one sister, Sonya Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Buckner; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Charlton and April Buckner of Morrison Bluff, Robert Buckner of Lamar, Jason Buckner of Greenwood, and Dustin Buckner of Mayflower; two brothers, Kenneth Buckner and Patrick Buckner, both of Florida; one sister, Joan Torres of Georgia; and six grandchildren, Piper, Remy, Dakota, Nyssa, Mayriah and Alex Buckner.
Graveside services and burial with military honors were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Lamar cemetery with Rev. Don Anderson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers were his sons, Charlton, Robert, Jason and Dustin Buckner, Frank White and Joe Stryffeler.
Honorary pallbearers were brothers-in-law, John and Jim Harris.
Teri Hood
Teri Hood, 46, of Lamar died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was a daughter of the late John T. Burgess and Virginia I. Burgess Hamilton.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Hood; two sons, Matt Jones of Fayetteville and Colby Hood of Lamar; three brothers, Bob Burgess and wife, Gail, Bill Burgess and wife, Judy, and Wayne Burgess and wife, Mary, all of Paul Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren, Quenton Hood and Kayden Hood; and mother-in-law, Thelma Clark of Clarksville.
There was no funeral service. The body was cremated. Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Bonnie Faye Oldham
Bonnie Faye Oldham, 61, of Brighton, Colo., died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at her home.
She was a native of Springfield, Ill., daughter of the late Verna and Albert Dennison, and was preceded in death by one granddaughter and one sister.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Kim Oldham; one daughter, Janelle (Scott) Cochrane; one son, Shawn Oldham; five grandchildren, Ocean, Kaiden, Timmy, Tristen, and Raileigh Faye; three sisters, Carla (Joe) Glenn and Donna Sue Griffith of Clarksville, and Linda Doan of Springfield, Mo.; and three brothers, Albert (Debra) Dennison of Kewanee, Ill., and Mike (Kay) Dennison and Richard (Wendy) Dennison, all of Tucson, Ariz.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brighton, Colo., with Melvin Banks officiating.
Burial was in Olinger Crown Hill cemetery in Brighton, Colo.
Jim Dickerson
Jim Dickerson, 82, of Clarksville died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Clarksville, son of the late James Wesley Dickerson Sr. and Lillie May Boen Dickerson, 1945 graduate of Clarksville High School, member of First United Methodist Church, Navy veteran of World War II, former co-owner of OK Food Market, cattle farmer, and was preceded in death by three brothers, N. E. Dickerson, J. R. Dickerson, and Bill Dickerson; and four sisters, Anna Moore, Pearl Whitson, Lottie Morgan, and Monetta Hadley.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie Hudson Dickerson; one son, Jimmy Dickerson and wife, Debra, of Clarksville; stepmother, Ila Dickerson of Clarksville; one sister, Bonnie Dickerson of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Matthew Mink and James Dickerson, both of Clarksville.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Hanshaw officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Steve Edmisten, Chris Dickerson, Michael Dickerson, Greg Dickerson, Wesley Plugge, and Phillip Dickerson.
Honorary pallbearers will be South Town Coffee Group.

Auzie B. Wofford
Auzie B. Wofford, 86, of Russellville, formerly of Clarksville, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at his home.
He was a son of the late Archie B. and Taney A. Hyden Wofford, native of Ozark, member of St. John's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and American Legion, and retired command sergeant major from the Arkansas Army National Guard. During 39 years of military service he received a number of awards including the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Phyllis Ruth Halaska Wofford; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Jan Wofford of Conway; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Gerald Harvell of Russellville, Jayne and Tom Jones of Pottsville, and Johnette and Charles Latham of Russellville; one sister, Chella Stokes of Ozark; eight grandsons; four granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at St. John's Catholic Church with Father William F. Thomas officiating.
Burial with military honors provided by the Arkansas National Guard was in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the 217th Engineer and Maintenance Battalions and the Hardee's Breakfast Club.

Charles Wayne Isenhart
Charles Wayne Isenhart, 81, of Hartman died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Wister, Okla., son of the late Clarence Andrew and Lizzie Jewel Midgley, Protestant, retired Singer Company employee, and was preceded in death by his wife, Neita Jo Roberts Isenhart; and one brother, Jim Isenhart.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Jo Isenhart Hall of Republic, Mo.; six sisters, Alice of Little Rock, Sue of Spokane, Wash., Juanita of Poteau, Okla., Leona of Hydesville, Calif., and Jean and Mickie, both of Eureka, Calif.; two brothers, Doyle of Scranton and Bill of Mesa, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Angela Hall and Steven Hall and wife, Nikki.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Spann officiating. Burial was in Minnow Creek cemetery.
Active pallbearers were John Satterfield, Lonnie Wilson, David Owens, Ronnie Holman, Timmy Holman, and Chris Neal.
Honorary pallbearers were William Holman and Jerry Holman.
Felicia M. Sweeney
Felicia M. Sweeney, 97, of Lamar died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was a native of Enfield, Conn., daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Mis Niemiec, and a retired elementary school teacher having taught for 45 years.
Survivors include one niece, June Kennedy of Lamar; grandnephew, Thomas Kennedy of Florida; two great-nieces; and several great-great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hanshaw officiating. The body was cremated.
