Robert C. Jones
Robert Clois Jones, 51, of Martin, Tenn., died Friday, June 27, 2008, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
He was a Navy veteran and concrete employee.
Survivors include his fiancée, Nicole Morrow of Martin, Tenn.; one son, Samuel Jason Jones of Clarksville; parents, Clois (Bud) and Peggy J. Lipps Jones of Clarksville; three sisters, Phyllis Bean of Lamar, Karen Robinson of Tacoma, Wash., and Tammy Moore of Little Rock; three brothers, Ronald K. Jones of West Memphis, and Richard K. Jones and Randall Jones, both of Clarksville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Mount Vernon cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Kent Cecil, Kenny Talley, John Holland, Phillip Holland, Carl Wayne Holland, and Hurshell Knox.
Honorary pallbearers were James Allen Lipps, David Hatchett, Cecil Bean and Mike Patterson.
William E. King Jr.
William Ernest King Jr., M. D., 89, of Russellville died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Saint Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.
He was a native of Clarksville, son of the late William Ernest and Hattie Eustice King, physician for Millard-Henry Clinic from 1950 until retirement in 1985, employee of Eastman Company during World War II in Kingsport, Tenn., United States Naval senior medical officer on the USS Anderson from 1947-1949, member of Central Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon and elder, 50-year lifetime member of the Lions Club International, currently serving on the Board of Trustees at the University of the Ozarks where he graduated in 1941, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Elizabeth King Robbins; two sons, James Robert and David Edward King; and a granddaughter, Maribeth Ilene Robbins.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Maribeth Mallory King; one son and daughter-in-law, Fred Ernest and Judy Pannell King of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathryn King Kish of Plano, Texas, and Alice (King) and Kurt Kutz of Springdale; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn (King) and Dr. Roger B. Bost of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Preston Kish of Plano, Texas, Michelle Kish of Dayton, Ohio, and Adam King of Memphis, Tenn.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at Central Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kenyon Kalvesmaki officiating. Private burial will be at Oakland cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the memorial service.

Arvil Johnson
Arvil (Johnson) Johnson, 88, of Fort Smith died Thursday, June 26, 2008.
He was born in Clarksville to Clyde and Edna Earle Johnson, retired from Teamsters Local Union No. 315 in California, and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Johnson; one daughter, Donna Raye Johnson of Fort Smith; two sons, Ron Petrosh of Oakley, Calif., and Bill Petrosh of Stockton, Calif.; one brother, Richard Johnson of Clarksville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Barham officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ron and Bill Petrosh, Josh Johnson, and Joseph Alexander.
Bruce Dean Kimpton
Bruce Dean Kimpton, 37, of Bronson, Mich., died June 13, 2008, at his home.
He was a son of the late Michael Russell Kimpton and a cook.
Survivors are one daughter, Haley Renee Kimpton of Sturgis, Mich.; one son, Bradley Kimpton of Oregon; mother and stepfather, Shelia and LaVern White of Clarksville; two sisters, Julie Bustos and Sylvia Fox, both of Arkansas; one brother, Dennis Kimpton of California; and grandparents, Kenneth and Dorothy Vaughn.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with family members officiating.
Erva M. Tillery
Erva M. Tillery, 98, of Ozark, mother of Clifford Tillery of Hartman, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Ozark Nursing Home.
She was the widow of Eugene A. Tillery, member of the Church of Christ, native of Dutton, daughter of the late George Washington and Nancy Ritchie Morris, and was preceded in death by one son; one daughter; one brother; and six sisters.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mary Jane Broyles and husband, Richard, of Fort Smith; one sister, Nola Hood of Wheatland, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Zeiler officiating. Burial was in Liberty Hill cemetery at Hunt.
Pallbearers were Ernest Tillery, Richard Tillery, Richard Tillery II, Scott Dover, Randall Wood, and Dean Tillery.

Marguerite Gibson
Marguerite Leonard Gibson, 93, of Russellville died Wednesday, June 25, 2008.
She was a native of Russellville, daughter of the late John White and Jessie J. Paul Leonard, widow of Hays Gibson, member of the First United Methodist Church of Russellville and Circle One of United Methodist Women, seamstress, avid bridge player, and was preceded in death by two sons, James L. Gibson and David Hays Gibson; and one brother, John Paul Leonard.
Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law, Margo and Dr. Richard Doss of Russellville; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Frank and Min Gibson of Dover, Del.; one sister, Jeannette L. Tibbels of Russellville; one sister-in-law, Shirley Leonard of Russellville; grandchildren, Gip Gibson (Kelly) of Tulsa, Okla., Kim Renner (Kevin) of Fayetteville, Greg Gibson (Libby) of Fayetteville, Kelli James (Tony) of Tulsa, Okla., Clay Doss (Kelli) of Fayetteville, John Doss of Little Rock, David Gibson of Delaware, Tasha Steinmacher (John Joseph) of New Jersey, Emily Gibson of Delaware, Cindy Gibson of Delaware, and Jingsi Gao of Delaware; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 30, at the First United Methodist Church in Russellville with Rev. Tom Frase officiating. A private burial followed at Oakland cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service.

Ruby G. Coffee
Ruby G. Coffee, 96, of Clarksville died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She was a native of the Harmony Community, daughter of the late Claud and Hannah King Elkins, widow of Harl A. Coffee, 1932 graduate of Clarksville High School, member of Harmony Presbyterian Church, retired dairy farmer, and was preceded in death by one sister, Mae Hyden; and two brothers, Roy and Roland Elkins.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Moore and husband, Roscoe, of Clarksville; one son, Kenneth Coffee and wife, Judy, of McRae; four grandchildren, Lisa Hampton and husband, James, of Coal Hill, Kent Lewis and wife, Yvonne, of Hartman, Brent Coffee of Maumelle, and Brad Coffee and wife, Katie, of Mayflower; four great-grandchildren, Whitney Lewis, Hannah Coffee, Brady Coffee, and Emily Coffee; four step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at the Harmony Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tracy Julian officiating.
Burial will be in Harmony cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Bobbie Earl Barnes
Bobbie Earl Barnes, 65, of Subiaco died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a disabled Air Force veteran, owner/operator truck driver, native of Ada, Okla., and son of the late Earl and Crystal Mae Ellis Barnes.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Pat Barnes; one daughter, Bobbie J. Barnes of Subiaco; one son, Richard Barnes and wife, Teresa, of Atkins; two sisters, Shirleen Endicott of California and Barbara Horne of Georgia; one brother, Jerry Ray Barnes and wife, Patricia, of Midway; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated. Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
