Christopher Plummer
Christopher Allen Plummer, infant son of James Wesley and Eleanor Love March Plummer of Clarksville, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
Other survivors include grandparents, Carl and Iva Sory and Ron March, all of Clarksville, and Doug and Dottie Mason of Gallup, N. M.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Oakland Street Full Gospel Church with Rev. Carl Sory officiating.
Burial was in Salus cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Johnny Jones Jr.
Johnny Jones Jr., 75, of Clarksville died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at his home.
He was a native of Clarksville, son of the late Johnny and Goulie Johnston Jones, and a retired Eureka Brick and Tile Company employee.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Ragsdale Jones; one daughter, Jennifer Harkreader of Hartman; two sons, Larry Jones of Clarksville and Billy Jones of Ardmore, Mo.; ten stepchildren; ten grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Hedgeway Church with Rev. Don Alexander officiating.
Burial was in Union Grove cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Grandsons and nephews served as active pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Gayland Holman, Jerry Don Madewell, Bobby Madewell, and Don Harkreader.
Richard Hargraves Jr.
Richard Nelson Hargraves Jr., 48, of Clarksville died Friday, June 27, 2008, from injuries sustained in a construction accident at a job site in Van Buren.
He was a native of Winnie, Texas, son of the late Ruby Lee Eley Hargraves and a construction employee.
He is survived by one daughter, Mollie Danielle Hargraves of Lamar; two sons, Richard (Tray) Nelson Hargraves III and William Zachary (Zac) Hargraves, both of Clarksville; father, Richard Nelson Hargraves Sr. of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Cheryl Ann Starbird of Crofton, Ky., Kathryn (Renell) Taylor of Coal Hill and Sheila Mae Holcomb of Sylacauga, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The body will be cremated. Local arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Vera A. McClaine
Vera Ann McClaine, 94, of Lamar died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late James L. and Frances Paralee Freeman Robertson and widow of John McClaine.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Hendrix of Page, Ariz., and Shirley McClaine of West Los Angeles, Calif.; three sons, Kenneth McClaine and George McClaine, both of Lamar, and Carl McClaine of Clarksville; one sister, Ruth Wardlow of Crescent, Calif.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Darrell Bridges officiating. Burial was in Holman cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Handley, Leon Bacchus, Mitchell Crutchfield, Duane Childers, Dan Leeds, and Marcus Crutchfield.
Billie R. Wood Sr.
Billie R. Wood Sr., 73, of Clarksville died Friday, June 6, 2008, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
He was an appliance repairman, son of the late William Gertrude and Lillie Mae Nettles Wood, and was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Wood; one daughter, Delha Mae McCoy of Olethe, Colo.; two sons, Billie R. Wood Jr. of Clarksville and Timothy Jo Wood of Antioch, Calif.; one sister, Bernice Martinez of Washington, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Donald E. Patterson
A memorial service for Donald Emil Patterson, 62, of Clarksville, who died Feb. 29, 2008, at his home, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Woodland cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
He was a native of Oakland, Calif., son of the late Emil and Bernice McMillan Patterson, graduate of Geneva (Ohio) High School, and a welder.
He is survived by two sons, Don Patterson and Jeffery Patterson, and one brother, Jerry Patterson, all of Geneva, Ohio.
Kristoffer Limgo
Kristoffer B. Limgo, 25, of Russellville, whose sister, Kay Limgo and fiancé, Michael Ward, reside in Clarksville, died May 28, 2008, in Houston, Texas.
He was a native of Manila, Philippines, 2001 graduate of Russellville High School, received a bachelor 's degree in May 2005 from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, was attending S.A. M. Automotive Institute in Houston, Texas, co-founder of the organization Ugly Car Racing (U.C.R.) and was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Horacio Limgo and Uy Kin of Cotabato City, Philippines and maternal grandparents, Rosario Aquino of Manila, Philippines and Paul Bankhead of Russellville.
Survivors include his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Limgo of Dover; one brother, Daniel Laxamana III and wife, Jennifer, of Manila, Philippines; three other sisters, Karen Laxamana of Manila, Philippines, Kristine Bayona and husband, Robert, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Kim Tremain and husband, Brent, of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Centerville Dragway with Casey Jones officiating.
The body was cremated.
Walter Dale
Walter Dale, 86, of Knoxville died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home in Lamar.
A son of the late Virgil and Erma Price Dale, he was a native of Johnson County, retired employee of Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville, and preceded in death by two brothers, Dow Price and Ern Dale; and one sister, Inez Waldo.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Dewayne and Lisa Dale of Knoxville; one daughter, Benita Dale of Knoxville; one brother and sister-in-law, Espie and Rena Dale of the Flat Rock Community; one sister, Lois Whorton of the Flat Rock Community; and three grandchildren, Monica Foreman, Cody Foreman and Ryan Dale, all of Knoxville.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, at the Price cemetery near London under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
