Wanda (Jella) Rogers

Wanda (Jella) Rogers, 69, of Clarksville died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
A native of Clarksville, she was a daughter of the late Gomer and Beulah Carter Farris, graduate of Clarksville High School, and member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Connie Rogers Lee of Clarksville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jim and Nancy Rogers, Jack and Dolores Rogers, and Robert Rogers, all of Clarksville; three sisters, Juanita Vaughn of Fayetteville, Wanda Faye Castleberry of Lamar, and Becky Dougan of Clarksville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Billy Usery officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Wesley Kendrick, Tim Hilton, Pat Hilton, Kent Cecil, Mark Simpson, Carl Kirshberger, and Charlie Hilton.

Mrs. Eula Blaylock Cecil

Mrs. Eula Blaylock Cecil, 90, of Clarksville died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Prairie Grove, daughter of the late Robert E. Lee and Suzann Lasater Hampton, widow of the late Dolan Cecil, member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for a number of years, and a retired telephone operator and manager for GTE Telephone Company at the Clarksville office for several years.
She is survived by four nieces, Glendine Smead of Delaware, Frances Hulen of Los Angeles, Calif., Mildred Garrett of Midland, Texas, and Ruth Dobbs of Dardanelle; and three nephews, Alton Fay Vaughn of Boise, Idaho, James Troy Hampton of Delaware, and Bobby Hampton of Camden.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, April 30, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Brown officiating.
Burial was in Oakland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Earl Green, Richard Kamp, Wilburn Hendrix, Virgil Knight, Cecil Bradley Sr., and Doyle Witherspoon.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 525, Clarksville, AR 72830.

Francis W. Ogilvie

Francis W. Ogilvie of Shawnee, Kan., brother-in-law of Mrs. Jim Ogilvie of Clarksville, died Saturday, April 24, 1999, at his home.
He was a 37-year retired employee of the Kansas City Power and Light Company.
Other survivors include his widow, Mrs. Betty Ogilvie; two daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Chuck Saunders of Lenexa, Kan., and Peggy and Philip Torno of Olathe, Kan.; one brother, T. L. Ogilvie of Steilacoom, Wash.; and two grandsons, Charles and David Saunders of Lenexa, Kan.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at the Newcomers Funeral Home in Overland Park, Kan., with burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, Kan.
Memorials may be made to the Harmony Presbyterian Church.

Lonnie V. Lemons

Lonnie Vernon (Lefty) Lemons, 79, died April 13, 1999, at his home in Richmond, Calif.
He was a son of the late Thomas Clinton and Liza Jane Baldwin Lemons, a native of Johnson County but had lived in Richmond, Calif., for several years, and a retired Reehms employee.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Amos Allen Lemons, James Wesley Lemons, and Allen Denver Lemons; and one sister, Lottie Draper.
He is survived by two brothers, Elva Lemons of Fon-du-Lac, Wis., and Lee Roy Lemons of Lamar; one sister, Mattie Jane Lohmeyer of Clarksville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated.

Mrs. Mary E. Hinds

Mrs. Mary Eleanor Turner Hinds, 90, of Saraland, Ala., died Friday, April 16, 1999, in Saraland Hospital.
A native of Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late E. L. and Iva Smith Turner, widow of Claude J. Hinds, and was preceded in death by one son, Claude J. Hinds Jr., and one daughter, Marion McIntoish.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Claudette H. and Tillis Brett of Saraland, Ala., and Beatrice and Charles Terpo of Mulga, Ala.; one son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Billye Hinds of Spanish Fort, Ala.; one sister, Irma L. Wharton of Clarksville; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, April 19, at Chickasaw United Methodist Church with burial in Helena cemetery in Helena, Ala.

Mrs. Mary Minney

Mrs. Mary Aline Minney, 73, of Hot Springs died Sunday, April 25, 1999.
She was a daughter of the late Harlan and Annie Garrett of Clarksville.
Survivors include her husband, Hoyt Minney; one son, Larry Minney of Hot Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law, Celeste and Don Chmura and Marlena and Richard Newton, all of Hot Springs; one sister, Maxine Patterson of Fresno, Calif.; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Blanche Garrett of Valdosta, Ga.; and four grandchildren, Brad Newton, Brianne Newton, Ryan Minney, and Mark Chmura.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, at Crestview cemetery with Rev. Mike Smith officiating.

Mrs. Mary F. Weymouth

Mrs. Mary Francis Weymouth, 54, of Subiaco died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was a daughter of the late Robert and Lela Scott, retired from the Logan County Courthouse at Paris, a Baptist, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Henry Scott.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Weymouth; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dwight and Jamie of Clarksville, Dwayne of Subiaco, and Douglas and Tina of Scranton; three sisters, Betty Inman of Scranton and Judy McGuire and Lily McGuire of Paris; five brothers, Harold, Jack, Bill, Jessie and Floyd Scott, all of Paris; three grandsons, Steven Roberson, Levi Weymouth and Kody Weymouth; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Wednesday, April 28, at Roller Funeral Home of Paris. The body was cremated with burial to be at Ellsworth cemetery in Subiaco.

Beulah Lee Patton

Beulah Lee Doak Patton, 89, of Clarksville died Friday, April 13, 2001, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late William Thomas and Sarah Marlow Doak, widow of Willie Patton, member of the Trinity Chapel Pentecostal Church of God, and was preceded in death by one son, Bill Patton.
Survivors include two daughters, Faye Beavers of Clarksville and Willene Capavilla of Anacoca, La.; four sons, Frank Patton and Tom Patton, both of Clarksville, Ray Patton of Kansas, and Reece Patton of Rockford, Ill.; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Trinity Chapel Pentecostal Church of God with Rev. Amos Pledger and Rev. Terry Schlinker officiating.
Burial will be in Lone Pine cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Charles Beavers, Tyrell Patton, Jack Patton, Gary Patton, Charles Patton, Tommy Patton, and Dee Patton.
