Paul R. Dennington

Graveside memorial services and burial for Paul R. Dennington, 96, of Florida, who died Saturday, April 28, 2001, in Florida, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at the Mt. Vernon cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Grange, a Methodist, son of the late Marion and Ruth Hath Dennington, and was preceded in death by his wife, Olive P. Dennington.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeanne Salerno of Tully, N. Y., and Cynthia Spencer of Overgaard, Ariz.; one son, Nathaniel Stanton of Elgin, Ill.; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Ray Miller

Ray Miller, 76, of Lamar died Monday, May 7, 2001, at Fort Smith.
He was a retired street superintendent for the city of Westminster, Calif., member of Cabin Creek Baptist Church, son of the late John and Annie Tilley Miller, and was preceded in death by one son, Randy Miller; two sisters, Elizabeth Bates and Tressie Hutchins; and two brothers, Leroy Miller and Jimmie Payne.
Survivors include his widow, Virginia Martindale Miller; one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Bob Garland of Westminster, Calif.; one sister, Ella Jones of Crescent, Okla.; two brothers, Travis A. Miller and Loy Dean Miller, both of Lamar; and one grandchild, Ian Miller of Las Vegas, Nev.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Gary Blair officiating. Burial was in Holman cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bo Miller, Jerry Miller, Terry Miller, Brad Miller, Billy Miller, and Dusty Talley.
Memorials may be made to the Cabin Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.

Roy Peters

Roy Peters, 99, of Hartman died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at Shaffer Nursing Home in Ozark.
A native of Hartman, he was a son of the late George Elmer and Celia Frances Gilliam Peters, a retired General Motors employee, a retired farmer, and a Methodist.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary Jean Goins of Fort Smith, Dorothy Lee White of Hartman, and Sylvia Don Roberts of Roland, Okla.; one son, Ernest Dane Peters of Clarks-
ville; one sister, Carrie Hardgrave of Fort Smith; one brother, Rev. O. D. Peters of Little Rock; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. George Domerese officiating. Burial was in Kendall cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bryan Goins, Stephen Goins, Gary Goins, Ken Roberts, E. D. Peters, and Luke Mackey.
Memorials may be made to the Kendall cemetery Association, Route 1 Box 359, Hartman, AR 72840.

Vickie Lynch

Vickie Lynch, 45, of London died Wednesday, May 9, 2001, in Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Panama, Okla.
Survivors are two daughters, Heather Lynch of Rome, Ga., and Jennifer Morrow of Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, Jason Lynch and Johnny Reynolds, both of Rome, Ga.; parents, Robert and Nevaline Breeland of Foxworth, Miss.; two sisters, Anita Queen of Poteau, Okla., and Helen Breeland of Sikeston, Mo.; three brothers, Jackie Castner of Hot Springs, Robert Castner of Russellville, and Marty Castner of Sikeston, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Caleb Cannady, Brittany Cannady, Danielle Morrow, Cameron Morrow, Savannah Lynch, Kevon Sprayberry, Morgan Reynolds, and Courtney Reynolds; and friend, Mike Reynolds of London.
The body was cremated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Willene C. Holben

Willene Clara McCleary Holben, 79, of Clarksville died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired clerk for Southwestern Bell, a Baptist, daughter of the late James and Jeanetta Stephens McCleary, and was preceded in death by six sisters, Muriel Terrill, Hazel Sullivan, Jimmie Carroll, Catheren Butterfield, Gertrude McCleary, and Jean Epperson; and one brother, J. D. McCleary.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Freda and Ken Lough of Clarksville; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Sheryl Holben of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Don Cunningham of Clarksville, Lee Cunningham of the United States Air Force, Anthony Holben and William Holben, both of Nevada, and David Holben of California; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Hess cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Goald Eugene Skaggs

Goald Eugene Skaggs, 87, of Hagarville died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000.
He was a son of the late James Tobb and Abbey Jane Edgmon Skaggs, retired sawmill employee and farmer, and was preceded in death by two sons, Argus F. Skaggs and Roy L. Skaggs; three sisters, Sarah Sherrill, Jewel Price, and Onva Burns; and five brothers, Roscoe Skaggs, Anderson Skaggs, Jim Skaggs, Charlie Skaggs, and Henry Skaggs.
Survivors include his widow, Audrey Estellene Morrison Skaggs; six daughters, Edra King of Jones-
ville, N. C., Geneva Morland and Robbin Clark, both of Lamar, Linda K. Clayborn of Clarksville, Debbie Bjorgum of Hagarville, and Donna Roddy of Barling; three sons, James Skaggs of Knoxville, Kenneth Skaggs of Wynne, and Chester Skaggs of Lamar; one sister, Pearl Beebe of Cornville, Ariz.; one brother, Olen Skaggs of Bella Vista; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Hagarville cemetery with Rev. Danny Knick officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Hilde I. Scheller

Hilde I. Scheller, 62, of Clarksville died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at her home.
She was born in Germany, a daughter of the late Willie and Hegwig Huebner Hoffman, and member of Scranton Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Scheller of Clarksville and Han Scheller of Minnesota; and one sister, Edith Beck of Indiana.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the Scranton Methodist Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Hard-
wicke Funeral Home. The body was cremated.

Janice V. Casey

Janice V. Casey, 61, of Clarksville died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was retired, a member of the Salus Free Holiness Church and Order of Eastern Star, and daughter of the late Norman Ned and Elease Voy Murray Henderson.
She is survived by three sisters, Sherry Boen, Pamela Terry and Kutrenia Turner, all of Ozone; one brother, Jay D. Henderson of Clarksville; and several nieces, nephews great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Salus Free Holiness Church with Rev. Robert Boen and Rev. Larry Willis officiating.
Burial will be in Wayton cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Robert Jordan, Wesley Turner, Donnie Terry, Everett Turner, Mike Goni, and Terry Turner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Henderson, Jeff Carlton, Steven Carlton, Michael Carlton, and Jeremy Boen.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
