Jorge Ruiz
Jorge Ruiz, infant son of Gerardo and Domitilia Ruiz of Clarksville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
Other survivors include one brother, Alex Ruiz of the home; two sisters, Neida and Julieta Ruiz of the home; and uncle and aunt, Matias Hernandez and Clara Hernandez, both of Clarksville.
Graveside services and burial were at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 22, at Holy Redeemer Catholic cemetery with Father William Wewers officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Allan Dale Sturdivant
Allan Dale Sturdivant, 46, of Ozark died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith from injuries sustained when his four-door 1994 Nissan Maxima struck a stray cow at 10824 State Highway 129 on Sunday night, Dec. 2, as he was en route home from church.
He was a supervisor for Tyson Foods in Clarksville, member of Trinity Chapel Pentecostal Church of God in Clarksville, and a native of Elk City, Okla.
Survivors include his widow, Donna Sturdivant; two daughters, Dana Sturdivant and Breanna Sturdivant, both of the home; parents, Kenneth and Zenith Hall Sturdivant of Ozark; grandfather, Russell Hall of Elk City, Okla.; two sisters, Brenda Beard and Rhonda Dutton, both of Ozark; and one brother, T. L. Sturdivant of Ozark.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Free Will Baptist Church in Ozark with Rev. Terry Schlinker and Rev. Eddie Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove cemetery at Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Nora Beth Little
Nora Beth Easley Little, 83, of Siloam Springs, formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, in Siloam Springs.
A daughter of the late Simon P. and Sarah Elizabeth Daniel Easley, widow of Enoch P. Little, retired teacher, and member of the First Methodist Church, What So Ever Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, and Faith Hope Circle.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and C. E. Todd of Siloam Springs; one sister, Gustava Easley of Albuquerque, N. M.; three brothers, Dr. G. T. Easley of Sulphur, Okla., Vernon Easley of Albuquerque, N. M., and Gayle P. Easley of Saratoga, Calif.; and two grandsons, Jason Cash of Russellville and Nathan Cash of Greenwood, Miss.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Lowell Eaton officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Martin R. Howard, Eddie Brinks, Jack Phillips, Bob Oden, Rev. Leo Villines, and Harold Lewis.

Carolyn H. Robert
Carolyn Hefley Robert, 54, of Bella Vista, sister of David Hefley of Clarksville, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville.
She was a native of Harrison, former resident of Clarksville, daughter of the late Berry and Gladys Burdine Hefley, self-employed sales manager of a furniture liquidation company and was preceded in death by one daughter, Dana; and one sister, Gayle.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Lee Robert; one son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Romy Rudder of Laredo, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Thrailkill of Lowell; two other brothers, Robert Hefley of Harrison and Harold Hefley of Altus, Okla.; one sister, Marilyn Edgmon of Mossville; and three grandchildren, Vanessa, Jessica and Destiny.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Lurton Assembly of God Church with Rev. Stan Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Tarleton cemetery in Lurton under the direction of Benton County Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the Buddy Burns Chapel in the Benton County Funeral Home at Rogers.

Carolyn Denton
Carolyn Denton, 85, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
She was a native of Paris, daughter of the late W. A. (Bro) and Myrtie Stewart Baskin, widow of Ambers (Runt) Denton, graduate of Paris High School and the University of the Ozarks, retired school teacher having taught at Coal Hill and Clarksville for 35 years, member of the First Baptist Church, the Bethany Sunday School Class, Kappa Kappa Iota Sorority, Clarksville Chapter No. 172 Order of the Eastern Star, and the retired teachers association.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Evelyn Denton of Russellville; three sisters, Virginia Thomas of Subiaco, Hilda Mooney of Clarksville, and Jean Curd of California; three brothers, Bill Baskin of Ozark, Jearl Baskin of Paris, and Jimmy Baskin of Tucker, Ga.; and three grandsons and spouse, Jason Denton and Joshua Denton, both of Russellville, and Justin and Meredith Denton of Little Rock.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Burial was at Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Denton, Justin Denton, Kenny Denton, Jimmy Baskin, Tery Baskin, and Jeff Baskin.
Harold N. Bishop Sr.
Harold N. Bishop Sr., 87, of Lamar died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at his home.
He was a native of Hartman, son of the late William Sparkman and Addie Mae Morrison Bishop, graduate of Hartman High School, member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, a retired coal miner and retired employee of Redondo Tile of Redondo Beach, Calif.
Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Donna McKinney of New Orleans, La., Karen Bishop of Cypress, Calif., and Betty and Gerry Lange of Chicago, Ill.; one son and daughter-in-law, Harold (Butch) and Marie Bishop of Lamar; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel. Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Rev. William Wewers officiating. Burial was in Hays Chapel cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kevin McKinney, Tony Vincenti, Robert Sexton, Henry Serio, Jim Smith, and Greg Thompson.
Ivy Jane Roberts
Ivy Jane Roberts, 83, of Rudy, mother of Lyla Moore of Coal Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001.
She was a daughter of the late George W. and Dorothy Mary Ann Hobbs Pixley, widow of Norman Roberts, and a Pentecostal.
She is survived by four other daughters, Ellen Redding and Sherry Foster, both of Rudy, Fern Goldsborough of Alma, and Mary Czarnikow of Muldrow, Okla.; three sons, Chester, Cleo and Cecil Arlen Roberts, all of Rudy; sister, Joyce Price of Van Buren; two brothers, Virgil Pixley of Portland, Ore., and Rev. Truman Pixley of Rudy; 33 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Mount McCurry cemetery Arbor at Rudy with Rev. Truman Pixley officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Larry Bly
Larry Bly, 58, formerly of Clarksville, died Nov. 30, 2001, in Pine Bluff.
He was a son of the late Bee and Carrie Bly of Clarksville.
He is survived by one sister, Barbara; and two brothers, Gary of Clarksville and Jerry of Wisconsin.
The body was cremated.
