Edwin Knoernschild
Edwin Frank Knoernschild, 80, of Cole Camp, Mo., died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Golden Age Living Center in Stover, Mo.
He was a native of Lutherville, son of the late Emil and Rosie Drittler Knoernschild, high school graduate, attended college at Winfield, Kan., River Forest, Ill., and graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan. He was employed as a teacher for 30 years in Lutheran schools in The Grove, Texas, Oberlin, Kan., Farrar, Mo., Alma, Mo., and finished his teaching career at Trinity Lutheran School in Cole Camp, Mo. He also served in the Army National Guard and was employed as an insurance salesman for Lutheran Brotherhood and Ken Lake Insurance in Sedalia, Mo.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, Mo., where he served as an organist for 50 years, choir director, youth instructor and held various church offices. He also served as an ombudsman for several years at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Cole Camp, Mo. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Knoernschild; and one brother-in-law, Ken Stroupe.
Survivors include his wife, Iona Drosche Knoernschild; one daughter, Paula Goosen and husband, Harry, of Cole Camp, Mo.; one son, Jeff Knoernschild of Sedalia, Mo.; one sister, Ruby Stroupe of Russellville; six brothers, Alvin Knoernschild and wife, Sandy, of Valparaiso, Ind., Richard Knoernschild and wife, Beverly, of Lutherville, Karl Knoernschild of Broken Arrow, Okla., David Knoernschild and wife, Chris, of Hot Springs, Melvin Knoernschild and wife, Sandy, of Benton, and Leo Knoernschild and wife, Sharon, of Lutherville; three grandchildren, Tonya Goosen, Dustin Goosen, and Travis Goosen, all of Cole Camp, Mo.; and one sister-in-law, Verna Knoernschild of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, Mo., with Pastor Todd Kollbaum officiating. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran cemetery in Cole Camp, Mo.
Pallbearers were Dustin Goosen, Travis Goosen, David Knoernschild, Melvin Knoernschild, and Leo Knoernschild.

Janet Rainey
Janet Rainey, 51, of Ozark, sister of Kevin Kulp of Clarksville, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in a Fort Smith hospital.
She was a native of Iowa City, Iowa, daughter of the late Edwin Kulp and Nancy Kulp Burk, member of Ozark Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by one sister, Jackie Massey.
Survivors include her husband, Kirby Rainey; two sisters, Laurie Jones of Ardmore, Okla., and Julie McKinney of Greenwood; two other brothers, Larry Edwards of Ardmore, Okla., and Clifford Kulp of Tulsa, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Heritage Addition Church of Christ in Booneville.
Burial was in Needmore cemetery in Perry County under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
Marie Selby
Marie Selby, 92, of Clarksville died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at her home.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Walter Frederick and Elizabeth Pearson Jennings, widow of John R. Selby; teacher and high school librarian for 37 years, member of Mt. Vernon Church of Christ, historical society and retired teachers association, and was preceded in death by one son, John L. Selby; and three brothers, Herbert Jennings Sr., Virgil Jennings and Carl Jennings.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ann Farrar and husband, Paul, of Clarksville; two sisters, Joyce Cox of Clarksville and Virginia Redman of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, Rebecca Dawdy and husband, Benjamin, of Siloam Springs and Sylvia Hiatt and husband, Russel, of Searcy; and eight great-grandchildren, Anna-Marie Dawdy, Briar Dawdy, Bonnie Dawdy, Hannah Dawdy, Abigail Dawdy, Josiah Dawdy, Zebulon Dawdy, and Angus Dawdy.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Lucian Farrar Jr. officiating. Burial was in Mount Airy cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Don Cochran, Duane Childers, Autry Meeker, Noel Rowbotham, Dane Woodard, and James Cox.
Honorary pallbearers were Selby Brown, Lawrence Carothers, James Casey, Leo Knoernschild, and John Taylor.
Rayma Rocole Graves
Gravesise services and burial for Rayma Rocole Graves, 89, who died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Heritage Living Center in Conway, were at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Hagarville cemetery with Charles Loum officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Griffin Leggett Funeral Home of Conway.

She was born at Limestone to Goldie and Alice Rocole and was preceded in death by her husband, Harvie N. Graves, and one brother, Leslie Rocole.
She is survived by one son, Dallas (Charla) Graves of Springfield, Mo.; three daughters, Mary Alice (Robert) Rice of Front Royal, Va., Dian (Bill) Polk and Nancy Graves of Conway; 12 grandchildren, Angelia (Albert) Anzar, Teresa Graves Fiser, Caleb Graves, Callie Graves, Carley Graves, Tery (Sheri) Graves, Keri Gunter, Scot (Mary) Polk, Amy (Vafa) Ferdowsian, Gregory Rice, James (Mary) Rice, and Elizabeth (David) Wallace; 15 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Hugh (Jean) Rocole of Benecia, Calif.
Virgil R. Higgs
Virgil R. Higgs, 85, of Russellville died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Knoxville, son of the late Chester and Anna Belle Ketcherside Higgs, United States Army veteran having served in Japan during the Korean War, former employee of International Shoe Company, Mortons Frozen Foods and Russellville School District where he retired as maintenance supervisor, member of the First Baptist Church and Fishers of Men Fishing Club, and was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, J.W., C.R., and Everett Higgs; and two infant siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joyce Lamb Higgs; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Tricia Higgs of Andrews, Texas; one daughter, Donna Higgs of Russellville; three grandchildren, Chelsea Johnston and husband, Eric, of Springdale, Megan Higgs and Jake Higgs of Andrews, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Abigail Johnston of Springdale; one sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Rev. Don R. Hankins of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rev. Tom Walker, Jock Davis and Winford Hoover officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville.
Active pallbearers were nephews, Kenny, Hartsil and Jerry Hankins and Gordon and Phillip Higgs, and grandson, Jake Higgs.
Honorary pallbearers were members and wives of the Fishers of Men Fishing Club and members of the Berean Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church.

Sanjeev B. Patel, 34, of Clarksville died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Fayetteville.
He was a native of London, U.K. and self-employed.
Survivors include his parents, Balubhai Lallubhai Patel and Kokila Balubhai Patel of Clarksville; and one sister, Nisha Balubhai Patel of Clarksville.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Sanatbhai Vyas officiating. The body will be cremated.
Barry W. Holloway
Barry Wane Holloway, 54, of Clarksville died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Clarksville.
He was a son of the late Loren and Virginia McAlister Holloway and a lumber yard employee.
He is survived by two sisters, Charlotte Magee of Russellville and Lorna Dixon of Clarksville; and three nephews, Jared and Justin Magee of Russellville and Kyle Dixon of Clarksville.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Green officiating.
The body was cremated.
Betty Jean Bauman
Betty Jean Bauman, 80, of Clarksville died Saturday, May 15, 2010.
She was born in the Woodland area, daughter of the late Will and Lydia Dobbs, widow of Clarence Bauman, and was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Christine Dawn Watson; three sisters, Lucille Crumrine, Clydess Czarikow and LeMarie McHanney; and four brothers, M. J. Dobbs, Marvin Dobbs, Levon Dobbs, and Ralph Dobbs.
Survivors include one son, Larry Bauman of Clarksville; two daughters, Brenda Morehead of Atoka, Tenn., and Sandra Watson of Clarksville; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Michael McHalffey officiating. Burial was in Woodland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Morehead, Robert Qualls, Wesley Patton, Jeff Snyder, Glen Addison and Christan McHalffey.
