Rae Jean Stockdale
Rae Jean Willard Stockdale, 47, of Clarksville died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at her home.
She was a native of Kansas City, Mo., daughter of the late William and Grace Blackmon Willard, and was preceded in death by one brother, William Paul Willard.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Gilbert Stockdale; four daughters, Daphne Kelly and husband, Kenneth, Amanda Hendrix and husband, Austin, Lisa Roman and husband, Paulino, and Marsha Stockdale, all of Clarksville; two sons, Jason Stockdale of Clarksville and Matthew Stockdale of St. Joseph, Mo.; six sisters, Deborah Lyman of San Antonio, Texas, Linda Hill, Evelyn Pierce and Sandy Willard, all of Heber Springs, Mary Willard of Oregon, and Tammy Lamb of Kansas; three brothers, Kenneth Willard of Kansas City, Mo., Douglas Blackmon of Heber Springs, and Ronald Blackmon of Kansas; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, April 13, at the Clarksville Church of Christ with Todd Rabalais and John Ballard officiating.
Burial was in Union Grove cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Kenneth Kelly, Austin Hendrix, Ronald Blackmon, Walter Hill, Paulino Roman, and Albert Wright.
Honorary pallbearers were Artie Pierce, Douglas Blackmon, Harvey Hill, Raymond Hill, Robert Wilbert, Christopher Willard, Brian Lyman, John Pierce and Daniel Pierce.
Robert Hodges
Robert Hodges, 72, of Springfield, Ill., uncle of Carla (Joe) Glenn of Clarksville, died Sunday, April 5, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; three sisters, including Verna Dennison of Clarksville; and three brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Hodges; two sons, Timothy and Todd Hodges, both of Springfield, Ill.; three grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral and burial were Thursday, April 9, in Springfield, Ill.
Ruby Chloe Hudson
Ruby Chloe Hudson, 88, of Russellville, whose son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and LaVonna Hudson reside in Clarksville, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Howell Elsworth and Rosie Bell Henley Singleton, she was born November 29, 1920, at Caglesville. She was the widow of Henry A. Hudson, member of the Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, and preceded in death by five brothers; one sister; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Survivors include three other sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur Dwain and Sharon Hudson of Harrison, and Danny Lyn and Debbie Hudson and Carl Ray and Becky Hudson of Russellville; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, at the Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Latham officiating.
Burial was in Hudson cemetery at Moreland under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers were Todd Brown, Christian Hudson, Todd Hudson, Michael Mahoney, John David Hudson, Caleb Hudson and Michael Shumake.
Honorary pallbearers were Matt Fleming and Eric Fleming.

Annie Ruth Watts
Annie Ruth Jarnagin Watts, 90, of Russellville died Saturday, April 8, 2006, in Russellville.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late John Wesley and Delphia Gibson Jarnagin, widow of William Albert Watts, and was preceded in death by two stepsons, Vernon A. and James Hubert Watts.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Lee and Ann Watts of Eads, Tenn.; one granddaughter, Jan Michelle Watts; two step-grandsons, Mark and Wade Watts; one step-granddaughter, Sonya Foust; one niece, Harva Garcia; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rev. Paul Northcut officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Alan Foust, Gary Williamson, Earl Helton, Steve Mitchell, Jeff Jones, and Tim Green.

Ferrol J. Self
Ferrol J. Self, 84, of Scottsburg, Ore., uncle of Mike Buckner of Clarksville, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, in Reedsport, Ore.
He was a native of Clarksville but had resided in Scottsburg, Ore., since 1956, was a son of the late Charles and Maud Jones Self, served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, retired mechanic for International Paper after approximately 50 years, musician, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Janet Rose Self, and five sisters.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sandra Smith and Shirley Self, both of Scottsburg, Ore.; one son, Gary Self of Eugene, Ore.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gladys Wirth of Brogan, Ore.
Graveside services and burial were at 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, at Scottsburg cemetery under the direction of Dunes Memorial Chapel.
Geraldine Sims Curtis
Geraldine (Gerri) Sims Curtis, 78, of Clarksville died Friday, April 7, 2006, at her home.
A native of Augusta, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Agnes Fletcher Odom, member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and Johnson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, board member of the Johnson County Senior Activity Center, and was preceded in death by three brothers and her children's father, Frank Edward Sims.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Curtis; two daughters, Elizabeth Warren of Clarksville and Mitzie Allen and husband, Randy, of Coal Hill; one son, Larry Sims of Maumelle; two stepdaughters, Paula Rice of Springdale and Sheila Curtis of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Kolton Allen, Wesley Fultz, Susan Sims, Gary Don Felkins, Lindsay Fultz, Sonny Sims, and Melissa McNeese; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Bass officiating.
Burial was in Shady Grove cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Wesley Fultz, Wendall Lee, James Jaggers, Kolton Allen, Duane Steele, and Jerry Self.
Jun Nagakura
Jun Nagakura, 88, of Clarksville died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark.
He was a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, son of the late Elizo and Kiku Yamada Nagakura, and a machinist.
He is survived by one daughter, Janice Larsen and husband, Thomas, of Ozark; and one granddaughter, Jasmine Candelaria of Chicago, Ill.
The body was cremated.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
