Ottis T. Gould
Ottis Truman Gould, 94, of Hartman died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark.
He was born November 14, 1911, at Springhill Community in Johnson County, son of the late Mae Oliphant, graduate of Hartman High School, member of Hartman Methodist Church, a construction worker, farmer and worked in the coal mines over 20 years, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Goodin Gould; and several stepsisters and stepbrothers.
He is survived by one sister, Jane Baskin of Fayetteville; and his dear friends and family: Melissia and Ron Mayfield, Jonathan Galvan, Tiffany Mize, Billy Mayfield and Selena Mayfield.
Graveside services and burial were at 1 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2006, at the Hartman cemetery with Rev. Chuck Starnes officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Ophelia J. Kauffeld
Ophelia Jacobs Kauffeld, 102, of Clarksville died Friday, March 3, 2006, at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville.
She was a native of the Harmony Community, daughter of the late Tandy Ulysses and Lily Isabelle Baker Jacobs, widow of Fred A. Kauffeld, member of the Mount Olive Methodist Church and Mount Olive Extension Homemakers Club for many years, and was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Cinda Kauffeld, Donald Kauffeld, and Greg Shively; and one great-grandchild, Chad Shively.
Survivors are two sons, Lawrence Kauffeld and wife, Ethelda, of Little Rock and Fred Kauffeld and wife, Irene, of Clarksville; five daughters, Freda Willett and husband, Guy, of Tampa, Fla., Wanda Shively and husband, Joe, of Freemont, Ind., Anna Kauffeld of Kingman, Ariz., Sue Duff and husband, James, of Clarksville, and Sylvia Kinnear of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at the Mount Olive Methodist Church with Rev. J. Michael Thurman officiating.
Burial was in Oakland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Fred Albert Kauffeld, Steve Shively, Jeff Shively, Daniel Kauffeld, David Kauffeld, James Kinnear and Chad Kinnear.
Roger E. Richter Jr.
Roger Eugene Richter Jr., 46, of Clarksville died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in Clarksville.
A native of Missouri, he was a son of the late Roger Eugene Richter Sr., and Nadine Farrar Richter.
He is survived by one daughter, Kassandra Richter of Salus; two sons, Scott Richter and Charlie Richter, both of Louisiana; stepfather, Phillip Pont of Clarksville; three sisters, Tammy Mooney and Terry Dixon, both of Clarksville, and Gidget Bartoletti of Pennsylvania; one brother, Travis Richter of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Hardwicke Funeral Home. The body will be cremated.
Truett A. Williams
Truett A. Williams, 82, of Knoxville died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Knoxville, son of the late Henry Alfred and Mary Belle Wallace Williams, member of Knoxville First Baptist Church, U. S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, Mason for 60 years and is currently a member of Knoxville Masonic Lodge No. 370.
Survivors are his wife, Donna Stilley Williams; one daughter, Rebecca Phillips and spouse, Kenneth Dale, of Russellville; two sons, Terry A. Williams of Tulsa, Okla., and Timothy B. Williams and spouse, Anissa, of London; one sister, Emma Sue Karstetter of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren, Candace Nicole Williams and Katelyn Alexandra Williams, both of London, and Jessica Phillips of Norwich, England.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at the Knoxville cemetery with Rev. Don Roy Hankins officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
E. Irene Robertson
Graveside services and burial for E. Irene Robertson, 88, of New Castle, Ind., who died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at her home, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Oakland cemetery in Clarksville with Rev. Michael Sawyer officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
She was the widow of Chester Robertson, native of Richmond, Ind., daughter of the late Ora and Nellie Smart Bell, graduate of Morton High School in Richmond, Ind., and member of First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Babbitt of Russellville; one son, Robert O. Robertson and wife, Betty, of Greens Fork, Ind.; one brother, Rev. George Bell and wife, Nona Lee, of Hagerstown, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Hazel King
Hazel King, 80, of Clarksville died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Leslie and Rose Marcott Swain, widow of Harry King, member of Woodland Baptist Church and retired employee of Saddle Manufacturing.
Survivors are one daughter, Beverly King of Clarksville; three brothers, John Swain and Clarence Swain and wife, Shirley, of New Hampshire, and Robert Kenney and wife, Virginia, of Vermont; three sisters, Rose Hurd and husband, John, of Florida, and Marion Critchfield and Dorothy Hicks, both of New Hampshire; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at the Woodland cemetery with Rev. Michael Sawyer officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Jesse H. Warren
Jesse Henry Warren, 68, of Clarksville died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at his home.
He was a retired polution control employee of Clarksville Light and Water Company for 26 years, radio and radar technician for the United States Air Force Base for 20 years, son of the late Paden and Nola Jewel Christian Warren, and was preceded in death by one son, Allen Michael Warren, and one brother, Elva Warren.
Survivors include his wife, Leola Boen Warren; two sons, William Warren and wife, Patty, of Russellville and Joseph Warren and wife, Emilie, of Columbus Air Force Base, Miss.; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Clark of Lamar; one brother, Glen Warren and wife, Glenda, of Ozark; three sisters, Hattie Curtis and Betty Overbey and husband, George Jr., all of Lamar, and Jean Lindsey and husband, Floyd, of Springdale; and five grandchildren, Derrick, Denise, Christopher, Addison and Benjamin Warren.
Funeral with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Don Erwin officiating. Burial will be in Oark cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be members of the 188th Fighter Wing Honor Guard.
Nephews and grand-nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

John Allen Lee
John Allen Lee, 56, of Helena-West Helena, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Helena Regional Medical Center.
He was an electrical engineer for Entergy, son of the late James Carr Lee, member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers organization, registered professional engineer, co-chairman of the committee to establish a homeless shelter in Phillips County and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Helena.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sparks Lee, a former Lamar resident; one son, Clifford Allen Lee and wife, Juliet, of Novi, Mich.; mother Nella V. Simpson Lee of Blytheville; two brothers, Roger Lee of Mocksville, N. C. and Robert Lee of Blytheville; four nieces; and two nephews.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the First United Methodist Church in Helena with Rev. Carolyn Doerring and Rev. Kirk Doerring officiating. Burial was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Lamar cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Helena.
Pallbearers were John Collins, Phillip Sturdy, Earl Garner, Roy Henson, Harvey Stockton, and Dick Hendrix.
