Daniel W. Yarbrough

Daniel Wayne Yarbrough, 64, of Oark died Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a son of the late Onis and Elsie Robinson Yarbrough, a laborer, and was preceded in death by one son, David Yarbrough, and three brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Todd Yarbrough; two sons, Mike Yarbrough and wife, Sunshine, and Randy Yarbrough, all of Oark; two brothers, J. E. Yarbrough of Springdale and Coy Yarbrough of Oark; and four grandchildren, Kara, Logan and Ashley Yarbrough, all of Oark, and Destany Yarbrough of Oklahoma.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, at the Sherman cemetery at Oark. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Gary Yarbrough, Leroy Yarbrough, Rocky Yarbrough, Ancil Yarbrough, Billy Ray Yarbrough, Curtis Todd, Bill Todd, and James Tuttle.

Paul E. Caton

Paul Everett Caton, 40, of Coweta, Okla., son of Dorothy Urtado of Lamar, died at his home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Bryant Caton; one sister, Sadie Viola Urtado; and one brother, Delbert Urtado.
Other survivors include three sisters, Brenda Valenzuela and Jackie Caton, both of Lamar, Colo., and Mary Medeiros of Tucson, Ariz.; and four brothers, Clifton Urtado of Pleasant Hope, Mo., Frank Urtado of Clarksville, Jessie Caton of California and Oliver Caton of Denver, Colo.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Hays Chapel cemetery.

Nettie Sue Hurt

Nettie Sue Hurt, 68, of Altus, mother of Aaron Hurt of Coal Hill, died Saturday, July 9, 2005, in a Van Buren nursing home.
A native of Alix, she was a daughter of the late Theodore Columbus Penland, widow of Johnny L. Hurt, a retired inspector for Sara Lee, former employee of Ozark Nursing Home, member of Alix Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Penland Jr. and Wayne Penland, and one sister, Iva Mae Pyron.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Hurt of Springdale; one other son, Kevin Hurt of Altus; mother, Nettie Sampley Penland of Nampa, Idaho; one sister, Wanda Sharpton of Nampa, Idaho; one brother, Bobby Penland of Ozark; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Alix Assembly of God Church with Rev. C. E. Simpson II officiating.
Burial was in Nichols Chapel cemetery at Altus under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

Sheila L. Williams

Sheila Lynette Williams, 57, of Lamar died Saturday, July 16, 2005, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was a waitress and Pentecostal.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Williams; one daughter, Donna Mumma of Russellville; one son, David Mumma of Strawberry; two stepdaughters, Marsha Oberste of Portland, Ore., and Sheila Paxon of Clarksville; four stepsons, Eddie Williams of Lamar, Robin Williams and Junior Williams, both of Clarksville, and Jason Williams of Ozark; parents, Ludwig Adolph and Hazel May Olson Hostad; and 12 grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, at Oakland cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Voy D. Williams

Voy Dean Williams, 75, of Lamar died Saturday, July 16, 2005, at his home.
A native of Tumberlin, he was a son of the late W. A. and Myrtle Brantly Williams, retired farmer, member of Strawberry Masonic Lodge, Baptist, and was preceded in death by one brother, Therlo Williams, and one sister, Norma Jean Joslin.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Earl Childress Williams; twin daughters, Deby Ward and Judy Horner, both of Lamar; four sisters, Jewell Dean Burkett, Minnie Lou Holt and Margaret Ann Capps, all of Arkansas, and Syble Colbert of Clovis, Calif.; two brothers, Jack Lee Williams and Juness Lee Williams, both of Arkansas; three grandchildren, Heather Renee Whitaker of Clarksville, Andrea Ward Chenault of Lamar, and Alicia Goodin of Glenwood; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Skinner officiating. Burial will be in Holman cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gregg Rainey, Gayland Holman, James Overbey, Jim Terrill, Alton Goodman, Kenneth Cash, Earl Lee Fetters, and Richard Ward.

George W. Elkins Jr.

George W. Elkins Jr., 89, of Russellville, formerly of Clarksville, died Monday, July 18, 2005, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was a farmer, Baptist, and son of the late Maggie (Prior) and George W. Elkins Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Brown Elkins; one stepdaughter, Marion Van Ohlen of Russellville; one stepson, Roy Brown of Lowell, Ind.; and nephews and nieces including Ruth Marie Pannell of Hartman.
Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at the Harmony cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Open visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Bailey A. Skiles

Bailey Anna Nicole Skiles, infant daughter of Alan and Cheryl Skiles of Clarksville, died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
Other survivors include one sister, Amber Skiles of the home; grandfather, Jimmy Hensley of Claremore, Okla.; and grandmothers, Ann Skiles of Clarksville and Debbie Hensley of Harrison.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Lone Pine cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Hazel Marie Sams

Hazel Marie Sams, 76, of Clarksville died Monday, July 25, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Effie Perry Harris, member of the Church of the Nazarene, and was employed as a laborer in the poultry industry of Tyson. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Sams; one sister, Panatha Dennis; and three brothers, Roy, Claude and Homer Harris.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Sams; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and David Morris of Clarksville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Lesia Sams of Alma and Gary and Helen Sams of Morrilton; two sisters, Dorothy Knuckles and Geneva Alderson, both of California; two brothers, Verlon Harris of Clarksville and Ernest Harris Jr. of Green Forrest; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Morris officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Morris, Brent Sams, Gary Sams Jr., Matthew Sams, Will Sams, and Jody Sams.
