Lennie B. Randall
Lennie Bridges Randall, 91, of Vici, Okla., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, in Oklahoma City, Okla..
She was born Aug. 11, 1913, near Clarksville, was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Savannah Smith Bridges and was preceded in death by three brothers, Noah, Oren, and Erna; one sister, Edythe; and one infant son, Johnny David.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vici, Okla., where she served as the director on the building committee for the current church location, director of Vacation Bible School, church treasurer, and led the Women's Missionary Union. She was also part of the Eastern Star organization achieving worthy matron on more than one organization through the Southern Baptist Convention.
Survivors include her husband of 71 years Floyd Randall; five children, Floyd Dean Randall and wife, Belle; Coral Jean Randall, Lora June Wingo and husband, Keith; Elwin Earl Randall and wife, Arleta; and Edythe Carol Randall; six grandchildren, Jeaneen Pointer, Carol Prewitt, David Randall, Bryan Randall, Alan Randall, and Shelia Molsbee; two step-grandchildren, Larry Randall and Lenay Peloquin; eight great-grandchildren, Kristopher Pointer, Jonathan Prewitt, Kalyn Marker, Dillan and Blake Randall, and Savannah, Desirae and Logan Randall; three sisters, Nettie Jacobs, Lucy Jacobs and Magdalene Dobbs, all of Clarksville; one sister-in-law, Eula Bridges of Clarksville; and one brother, Olen Bridges and wife, Doris, of Camargo, Okla.
Funeral was Saturday, Aug. 13, at First Baptist Church in Vici, Okla., with burial at Sunnyside cemetery under the direction of Shaw Funeral Home.
Roy Stubblefield Sr.
Roy Haskell Stubblefield Sr., 76, of Alvin, Texas, formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at his home.
He was a native of Jasper, son of the late Henry and Bertha Stubblefield, Catholic, served in the United States Army stationed at Fort Ord, Calif., and was a lawyer in the real estate business.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Stubblefield; one daughter, Linda A. Stubblefield of Tolleson, Ariz.; one son, Roy Haskell Stubblefield Jr. and wife, Beatrice, of Jacinto City, Texas; and two grandchildren, Victoria A. Stubblefield and Amanda Bea Stubblefield.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. William Wewers, O.S.B., officiating. Burial was in Lamar cemetery.
Pallbearers were J. R. Guess, Edd Young, Ted Young, Jim Lewis, Roy Stubblefield Jr., and Buddy Smith.
William H. Crouch III
William H. Crouch III, 76, of Clarksville died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Muskogee, Okla., son of the late Margaret and William H. Crouch II, graduate of Muskogee (Oklahoma) High School and North East College at Tahlequah, Okla., retired elementary teacher at Muskogee School, and a Marine Corps World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Wilai Crouch.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Terry Schlinker officiating. Burial will be in Carter cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Songphol Nitithanyavatana, Wanchai Damrongsanti, Gary Perry, Aaron Perry, Victor Perry, and Gary Perry Jr.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Woodrow Taylor
Woodrow Taylor, 87, of Lamar died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
He was a son of the late Henry Lee and Onie Mae Butler Taylor, farmer, and was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Lee Taylor.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Cain of Lake Village, Linda Henson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Nelda Gilmer of Clarksville; two sons, James Pope of Montrose and Carl Pope of Peru, Ind.; three sisters, Kally Watson of Santa Rosa, Calif., Ally Brannon of Heber Springs, and Erma Maxwell of Memphis, Tenn.; three brothers, Tommy Taylor and Jack Taylor, both of Springhill, La., and Travis Taylor of Baltimore, Md.; 26 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Alison A. Collins
Alison Denise Alexander Collins, 42, of Pickens, S. C., formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at her home.
She was a native of Easley, S. C., daughter of the late Wanda Harris Alexander, member of Secona Baptist Church, 1981 graduate of Pickens High School, 1985 graduate of Newberry College with a bachelor of science degree in biology, and a 1991 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a master of science degree in public health. She was a former employee of the South Carolina Department of Social Services for Pickens County with the teen companion program, a human service supervisor and licensed foster care homes, and a family independence work force consultant.
Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Nicole Collins of the home; father, Don Alexander of Pickens, S. C.; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Teri Alexander of Pendleton, S. C., Deena and Jimmy McCollum, Sanya and Charlie Hodge, and Tanya and Bill Gravely, all of Pickens, S. C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Carla Alexander of Pickens, S. C.; grandmothers, Maybeth Harris of Easley, S. C., and Verna Mae Alexander of Pickens, S. C.; and nieces and nephews, Misha and Josh Boone, Jeremy, Kayla and Jill McCollum, Mason and Daniel Hodge, Justin, Lucas and Matt Gravely, and Lindsey and Sydney Alexander.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Dorothy L. Ming
Dorothy Louise Ming, 59, of Lamar died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Rev. Sidney Jethro Burnett, employee of Lowe's in Russellville, and along with her husband pastored the New Covenant Church in Lamar. She was preceded in death by one sister, Florence Easton.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas C. Ming; one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Marchand Ming of Round Rock, Texas; mother, Rev. Edna Marie Satterfield Burnett of Lamar; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Carl Miller and Carolin and Greg Walker, all of South Bend, Ind., Dora and Paul Bucker of Lamar and Irene and Charles Burton of Clarksville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, James and Polly Burnett and Paul Burnett, all of Paris; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Utshie Martin and Carol Stuart officiating. Burial was in Brock cemetery at Piney.
Active pallbearers were Steven Bucker, Mike Bucker, James Bucker, Mike Guinnip, Rodney Osborn, and Charles Doe.
Honorary pallbearers were Christina Guinnip and Honey Jaramillo.
Effie M. Fetters
Effie Mae Fetters, 93, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at her home.
She was a native of the Spadra Community, daughter of the late William Thomas and Palestine Winters Callahan, member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and was preceded in death by one son, Chestine Porter.
Survivors include two daughters, Mickey Russell Nichols and Barbara Speaks, both of Clarksville; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall with Don Collier officiating. Arrangments were uner the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
The body was cremated.
Ernest F. Gardner Jr.
Ernest F. Gardner Jr., 78, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, native of Michigan, and son of the late Ernest F. and Agnes McKinney Gardner.
He is survived by three son, Mike Gardner, Norman Gardner, and Allen Gardner, all of California; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial was at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at Oakland cemetery with Rev. Jim Goodman officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
