Floyd W. Harvey
Floyd William Harvey, 79, of Coal Hill died Monday, April 25, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
A native of Los Angeles, Calif., he was a retired truck driver and retired Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Harvey; one stepdaughter, Carol Ann Dale of Coal Hill; one son, William Floyd Harvey of Joshua Tree, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Coal Hill cemetery with Michael Dale officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Imogene S. Daniel
Mrs. Imogene S. Daniel, 89, of Midway (Subiaco), Arkansas, died Friday, April 22, 2005.
The daughter of the late Horace and Melinda (Owen) Stumbaugh, she was born December 23, 1915, in Hagarville, AR. She married
Gorman Daniel on March 25, 1934, at Holman Community, AR, with whom she celebrated over 68 years of marriage.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Gorman Daniel; one son, Ronnie Franklin Daniel; four brothers; and four sisters.
She served faithfully with her husband, Rev. Daniel, in the ministry of the Assemblies of God. This ministry spanned a period of 67 years, 32 years as pastor Midway Assembly of God Church, where her most cherished ministry was teaching junior boys Sunday school class. She represented the church as delegate to district meetings. She also accompanied her husband on several missions trips to Latin America.
Proverbs Chapter 31 describes her well in that she looked well to the ways of her household - her husband and children would call her blessed. She opened her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue the law of kindness.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James D. and Shirley Daniel of Cordele, GA, Lawrence K. and Sandra Daniel of Van Buren, and Dewey and Deletta Daniel of Van Buren; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Dorothy and Harold Davison of Subiaco, June Daniel of Little Rock, Linda and Gary France of Little Rock, and Kay Daniel of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, at Midway Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bobby Johnson and Rev. C. L. Haston officiating. Graveside services and burial followed at Annie's Chapel cemetery near Hagarville. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Home of Russellville.
Nephews served as active pallbearers.
The honorary pallbearers were grandsons.

Iuta Cowan Pittman
Iuta Cowan Knuckles Pittman, 73, of Redding, Calif., died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at the Canyonwood Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Redding, Calif.
She was a native of Salus, daughter of the late Albert Lafayette and Pearl Belle Rhoades Cowan, and had resided in California since 1944. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence P. Knuckles; three sisters, Lois Davis, Lottie Alexander and Maggie Winkle; and one brother, Alex Cowan.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence H. (Jack) Pittman; four sons, Jimmy Knuckles of Stevensville, Mont., Robert Knuckles and Clarence Pittman III of Redding, Calif., and Tom Pittman of Cottonwood, Calif.; two daughters, Connie Jaqua and Jerri Calkins of Redding, Calif.; one stepson, Michael Pittman of Redding, Calif.; one brother, Lowell (Dock) Cowan of Cottonwood, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and one cousin, Wyvon Ritchie of Redding, Calif.
Private services will be held under the direction of McDonalds Redding Chapel.
Robert L. Brown
Robert L. Brown, 58, of Knoxville died Friday, April 22, 2005, at his home.
He was a native of Clarksville, member of the Clarksville Church of Christ, former gardener at the University of Arkansas, United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Rogers-Rye Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2283, where he also served as a groundskeeper and cook, and was the junior vice commander of District 6 from 2003-2004. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Selby (Buddy) Brown and Ronald F. Brown.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Donald Brown and Yvonne Hu of Springdale; one daughter, Jacquelyn Christine VanAntwerp of Springdale; parents, Selby and Mildred Brown of Knoxville; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Eloise Freeman of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Johanna Kenner and Carol and Randy Struckmeyer, all of Knoxville; one sister-in-law, Jennie Brown of Knoxville; four grandchildren; four nephews; one niece; and one great-niece.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the Clarksville Church of Christ with David Coats officiating.
Burial with military honors provided by the Rogers-Rye Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2283 was in Knoxville cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers were Andy Brown, Randy Struckmeyer, Larry Molinaro, Bob Frost, Larry Holman, Darrell Plank, Rob Risinger and Jamey Styles.
Honorary pallbearers were Kasey, Kyle and Kris Struckmeyer, Megan, Kyle and Trevor Brown, and Kenny VanAntwerp.

Velma A. French
Velma Ann French, 64, of Russellville died Monday, April 25, 2005, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.
A native of Poplar Bluff, Mo., she was a daughter of the late James and Rosa Belle Sloan Chatman, and attended the First Assembly of God Church. She and her husband, Rev. L. B. French, pastored churches in the Assemblies of God for the past 43 years in Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. In Arkansas they pastored at the Strawberry Assembly of God Church north of Lamar, Pleasant Grove Assembly of God and First Assembly of God in Delight.
Other than her husband, she is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Terry French of Russellville and Richard and Vickie French of Yelm, Wash.; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Chester Hall of Atoka, Okla.; grandchildren, Trista and Tracey Hall of Atoka, Okla., and Frankie, Farrah and Felicia French of Yelm, Wash.; one brother, Charles Chatman of Missouri; and five sisters, Sue Cash, Brenda Bilderback, Bonnie Henson, Darlene Russell and Patricia Peters, all of Missouri.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville with Rev. Arlin Elmore, Rev. Bernard Escalante, and Rev. Larry Moore officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery at Russellville.
Visitation will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Humphrey Funeral Home in Russellville.
Anna K. Tressider
Anna Katherine King Tressider, 101, of Rosewood Retirement Community in Bakersfield, Calif., died Friday, March 4, 2005.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Joe B. and Kate Clark King, widow of William M. Hardwicke Jr. and Bufford Earl Tressider, former resident of El Reno, Okla., Lompoc, Calif., and Greeley, Colo., member of the First Methodist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution, and was preceded in death by one son, William M. Hardwicke III; two sisters, Minnazelle King Danley and Josephine King Sefcik; one brother, Joe B. King Jr.; nephew, Joe Ben King; and niece, Sharon King Bosworth.
She is survived by two stepdaughters, Peggy McWilliams of Farmington, N. M. and Mary Lou Fouts of Greeley, Colo.; three grandchildren, Phillip Hardwicke of Federal City, Wash., William M. (Buddy) Hardwicke IV of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Katherine Hardwicke Johnson of Greeley, Colo.; one niece, Diane Sandridge of Bakersfield, Calif.; several great-grandchildren; several great-nieces; and several great-nephews.
Burial will be at Oakland cemetery in Clarksville at a later date. Local arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Billie F. Holman
Billie Fern Holman, 70, of Amarillo, Texas, whose daughter and son-in-law, Twila Gale and Bill Johnson reside in Clarksville, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at SCCI Hospital.
She was a native of Shamrock, Texas, daughter of the late Henry and Grace Crisco Carter, and member of the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years Virgil Holman; one son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Mary Holman of Amarillo, Texas; one other daughter, Patricia Diane Berry of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one brother, Glen Carter of Panama City, Fla.; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 7, at Brearley cemetery with Rev. Tom McElmurrey officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle.
Catherine L. Morrison
Catherine Lee Morrison, 91, of Lamar died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of Lamar Baptist Church, daughter of the late George W. and Mamie E. Neihouse Crowder, widow of Clarence Morrison, and was preceded in death by one sister, Ella Mae Carlton; and two brothers, Russell and Walter Crowder.
She is survived by four nieces, Helen McCartney of Ozark, Linda Rice of Hemet, Calif., Cathy Seibo of Tyler, Texas, and Carol Crowder of Little Rock; and three nephews, Ed Crowder of Lamar, Rusty Crowder of North Little Rock and Lawrence Crowder of Little Rock.
Graveside services and burial were at 10 a.m. Monday, March 7, at Lamar cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
