Juanita Estep

Juanita Estep, 86, of Coal Hill died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at Clarksville.
She was a member of the Coal Hill Assembly of God Church, daughter of the late Robert Bert and Anna Louise Douglas Reynolds, widow of Otho (Sonny) Estep; and was preceded in death by three sisters, Lois Sparkman, Faye Severn, and Patsy Grobe; and three brothers, Fletcher Reynolds, Q. B. Reynolds and J. B. Reynolds.
She is survived by one son, Bobby Bert Estep and wife, Sharon, of Coal Hill; one brother, Billy Bert Reynolds of Coal Hill; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at the Coal Hill Assembly of God Church with Rev. John Kindrix officiating.
Burial was in the Hess cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Michael Reynolds, Scott Chrisman, Buddy Beavers, Steve Acord, Steve Estep, and Tom Davenport.
Honorary pallbearers were Eugene Scarberry, Nelson Teague, Fred Breedlove and Don Estep.

Lizzy Coleen Richards

Lizzy Coleen Richards, 70, of Coal Hill died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007.
She was a native of Coal Hill, daughter of the late Eddie and Lade Jones, and attended the Coal Hill Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Richards; three daughters, Paula Light of Walnut Ridge, Shirley Long of Bald Knob, and Telena Ritchy of Coal Hill; one son, Verlon Sanders of Altus; four stepchildren, Bill Richards, Barbara Veto and Albert Richards, all of Coal Hill, and Deborah Bentley of Ozark; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at the Coal Hill Assembly of God Church with Rev. John Kindrix officiating.
Burial was in Liberty Hill cemetery at Hunt under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were J. J. Walker, Mike Lambert, Willie Bates, Steven Johnson, Vance Richards and Tonya Hanson.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Richards, Angel Hernandez, Robert Veto, and Adam Richards.

Mae H. Pipkins

Mae Highfill Pipkins, 94, of Coal Hill died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
A native of Coal Hill and daughter of the late Toby and Pearl Breshears Highfill, she was the widow of Owen Pipkins, charter member of Center Point Missionary Baptist Church and member of the Mt. Vernon Extension Homemakers Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Twilla Beth Sosebee of Coal Hill; one brother, Julius Highfill of Bella Vista; two grandchildren, Vicki Key of Alma and Steven Sosebee of Clarksville; and four great-grandchildren, Abby and Alex Key and Cayden and Claire Sosebee.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Trusty and Rev. Dane Ruff officiating.
Burial will be in Kendall cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Terry Highfill, Don Highfill, Keith Pipkins, Larry O. Hardcastle, Gary Jacobs, and Jessie Ray Highfill.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Hervey Marvin Arnold

H. M. Arnold was born June 5, 1919, in Hartman, Arkansas, and passed away October 23, 2007, in Benton, AR. He was the youngest of five children born to Hervey Marvin Arnold Sr. and Lenora Virginia Wilson Arnold who predeceased him. He is survived by his son, Circuit Judge Gary M. Arnold (Debbie) of Benton, his granddaughter, Dr. Emily A. Hinton (Dr. Tommy) of Fayetteville, and his two great-grandchildren, Connor and Kate, also of Fayetteville.
Mr. Arnold is also survived by his nephews, Dr. Arnold Williams (Bette) of Springdale, Ben Alan Arnold (Joeanne) of Montgomery, TX, and Ragon Don Kinney, Sr. (Gail) of Albuquerque, N. M.; and by his nieces, Ruth MacAllister (Don) of Lane, OK, Peggy Burdine of LaFeria, TX, Carole Williams Allen (Jim) of Sheridan, Suzanne Kinney Crowson (Jim) of Conway, and Joanna Pyle of N. J. His brother, Ben F. Arnold of Rio Hondo, TX; and sisters, Mabel Moses of LaFeria, TX, Virginia Williams of Sheridan, and Pat Kinney of Bauxite predeceased him.
Mr. Arnold was a 1937 graduate of Hartman High School and attended Arkansas Polytechnic University (Arkansas Tech) from 1939-1941. While there, he was vice president of his class and a member of the boxing team. He was a member of the Russellville National Guard and the Army Air Corp. He served as a merchant marine and commercial seaman from 1942 until his retirement in 1983.
A graveside service and burial was held on Friday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at West Mount Zion cemetery near Hartman. The service was under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the West Mount Zion cemetery Association, in care of Joe Fowler, 8798 Hwy 352 West, Clarksville, AR 72830 or the American Lung Association, 211 Natural Resources Dr., Little Rock, AR 72205-9869.

Angie Davis

Angie Davis, 73, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was employed in healthcare as a home health aide with 15 years of service, member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, former employee of Fairway Market for 17 years, daughter of the late Julius Giacoletto and Josie Bell Osburn Giacoletto Curtis, widow of Loyd O. Davis, and preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Gonzalez and Pat Allred; and two brothers, John Giacoletto and Barney Giacoletto.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Davis, Jody Beerman and husband, Craig, and Sherry Teal and husband, Nick, all of Clarksville; one son, Wayne Davis and wife, Idela, of Clarksville; two sisters, Mary Chapman of Challis, Idaho, and Georgie Griffith of Clarksville; one brother, Jim Giacoletto of Pittsfield, Mass.; nine grandchildren, Jacy Curtis of Boise, Idaho, Chad Dowdle and wife, Lynette, of De Queen, Jennifer Daniels and husband, Bill, of Clarksville, Angela Meisner and husband, Trey, of Russellville, Kristopher Davis of Clarksville, Joshua Beerman and wife, Stephanie, of Russellville, Kari Davis of Russellville, Nicholas Davis Teal of Clarksville, and Ashley Beerman of Clarksville; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew Daniels of Clarksville, Jonathan Curtis of Rancho Mirage, Calif., Zac Dowdle of De Queen, and Austin Lofand of De Queen.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Bass officiating.
Burial was in Carter cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Joshua Beerman, Bill Daniels, Kristopher Davis, Charles Frank, Jerry Holt, Trey Meisner, Jerry Osburn, and Richard Wallace.
Honorary pallbearers were Craig Beerman and Nick Teal.

Colleen Kinslow

Colleen Kinslow, 77, of Russellville died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at her home.
A native of Clarksville, she was a daughter of the late Pierce and Lucille Garrett King, member of the Coal Hill VFW Ladies Auxiliary, one of the founders of Kinslow's Odds and Ends in Russellville, and the widow of Lloyd Kinslow.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Hays of Russellville; one brother, Kenneth King and wife, Harriet, of Hot Springs; one sister, Mattie Lee Mitchell of Houston, Texas; one brother-in-law, Hugh Amboree; three grandchildren, Brandon Hays of Russellville, Sarah Hull and husband, Isaac, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Joshua Hays of Globe, Ariz.; and one great-grandchild, Preston Hull of Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Humphrey Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Bill Rodrick officiating. Burial was at Oakland cemetery in Russellville.
Active pallbearers were John King, Mikel Mannrique, Nap Felkins, Billy Joe Felkins, Ronnie Wooten, and Pedro Hilliard.
Honorary pallbearers were US Cafe employees.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 1610, Little Rock, AR 72203.

Earnest T. Henderson

Earnest Troy Henderson, 82, of Lamar died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a son of the late John and Ettie Henderson, truck driver, sawmill employee, Wal-Mart greeter, affiliated with the Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by one son, John Wayne Henderson; three sisters, Marie Neal, Bertha Henderson and Claudia Dodge; and two brothers, John Lloyd and Raymond Henderson.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Wanda Jean Yates Henderson; two sons, William Henderson and wife, Brenda, of London and Donnie Henderson and wife, Iva, of Lamar; three grandchildren, Andrew, Michael and Rebecca Henderson; and four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Sierra and Alyssa Henderson.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Arlin B. Elmore and Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Minnow Creek cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Henderson, Andrew Henderson, Austin Henderson, Bob Henderson, Phillip Nordin and Kyle Plank.
Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers of Ed Willey's Construction and Wal-Mart.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
