Wilma Sue Barber
Wilma Sue Barber, 71, of Lamar died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late L. B. and Edna Murel Patton Freeman, member of the Hagarville Church of Christ, and a licensed practical nurse.
Survivors include her husband, J. T. Barber; one daughter, Susan (Chip) Hurst and husband, James, of Farmington; one son, Mike Barber of Harrison; two sisters, Weda Davis of Clarksville and Wanda Freeman of Hagarville; one brother, Robert Freeman of Illinois; four grandchildren and spouses, Merissa Bridges, Ryan Barber and wife, Ashley, Rebecca Hurst, and Jamie Pair and husband, Greg; and five great-grandchildren, Kinley, Lydia and Wyatt Pair, Julia Bridges, and Keegan Barber.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hurst officiating. Burial was in Hagarville cemetery.
Active pallbearers were John Colwell, Gary Don Barber, Don McCall, James Freeman, Ronnie Crumrine, and Vaughnon Freeman.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Davis and Leland Freeman.
Ralph Eric Ahne
Ralph Eric Ahne, 54, of Scranton, AR died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born December 6, 1955, in Paris, Arkansas to Frank Leonard and Margaret Ahne. He was a diesel mechanic for 17 years for Forsgren in Fort Smith and a mechanic five years at River Valley By Products at Morrison Bluff, Arkansas and he was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed his time gardening and listening to talk radio. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Leonard Ahne and a brother, Victor Albert Ahne.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Rita Ahne of Scranton; one son, Christopher Ahne and wife, Jennifer, of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Gretchen Oxford and Laura Beth Ahne, both of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chloee Oxford, Gracie Oxford, Sophie Oxford and Kathryn Ahne; his mother, Margaret Ahne of Scranton; four sisters, Mary Griesemer of St. Louis, Missouri, Margie Spillers of Prairie View, Arkansas, Charlotte Waits of Wichita, Kansas and Rita Brown of Benton, Arkansas; three brothers, Edward Ahne of Scranton, David Ahne of Sherwood, Arkansas and Frank Ahne Jr. of Conway, Arkansas and numerous other family members and friends.
Rosary service was Friday, March 19, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at Roller Funeral Chapel in Paris. Funeral Mass was held Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church-Scranton with burial in St. Ignatius cemetery in Scranton under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Cheryl Lynn Bush
Cheryl Lynn Bush was reunited with her infant son, Floyd Eugene Isenbart, Thursday, March 18, 2010. She peacefully passed away at Johnson Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Bonnie Gash Brooks
Bonnie Gash Brooks, 80, of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was the widow of Bill Brooks and a retired employee of CCAD-NAS in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Survivors are two daughters, Linda Davenport of Orange Grove, Texas, and Vicki Verdugo of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Tommy Brooks of Three Rivers, Texas; one sister, Wilma Richardson of Missouri, formerly of Clarksville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Duncan cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
Clifford E. Tillery
Clifford E. Tillery, 86, of Hartman died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at his home.
He was a native of Cass, member of Alix Assembly of God Church, World War II Navy veteran, and preceded in death by his wife, Martha Stover Tillery.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Jordon of Ozark and Carla Jackson of Clarksville; two sons, Ernest Tillery and wife, Sandy, of Clarksville and Richard Tillery and wife, Twila, of Knoxville; one sister, Mary Jane Broyles of Fort Smith; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Birdsong officiating. Burial in Liberty Hill cemetery near Coal Hill.

Harvey A. Severn
Harvey A. Severn, 89, of London died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at his home.
A native of Chester, Okla., he was a son of the late George and Winnie Wells Severn, World War II Army veteran, served in the South Pacific, received three Bronze Stars, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, former employee of Swift Processing Plant in Clarksville and Forestery Service Parks and Recreational for several years, and preceded in death by his wife, Thelma LaFaye; one brother, Andrew Brightman; two sisters, Lenore Manning and Judy Severn; five grandchildren, Tonya Lavender, Jimmy Ray Severn, Lisa Shepherd, Billy Middleton, and James Smith; and two stepsons, Lee Dunlap and David Dunlap.
Survivors include three daughters, Winnie Mae Pipkin of Big Cedar, Okla., Mary Louise Williams of Greenwood, and Anna Jo Harp of Las Vegas, Nev.; one son, Tommy George Severn of Gentry; four stepdaughters, Linda Shepherd and husband, Mike, of Lamar, Rita DeNike and husband, Jim, of Clarksville, Anna Myers and husband, John, of London, and Barbara Torres and husband, Rey, of Conroe, Texas; one stepson, Danny Dunlap and wife, Julia, of Coal Hill; two sisters, Pansy Waldrip of Floral and Frances Long of Gentry; one brother, Frank Severn and wife, Retha, of Gentry; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Owen officiating. Burial was at the Hess cemetery in Coal Hill.

Herchel Don Owens
Herchel Don (Buck) Owens, 67, of Scottsville, whose son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Shuree Owens, reside in Clarksville, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
He was born at the Economy Community to Louis Grady (L.G.) and Margaret Victoria Harris Owens, veteran of the United States Navy having received a Good Conduct medal, member of Rogers-Rye VFW Post 2283 and coached youth baseball. He was a master plumber for 40-plus years working with his brother in Don and Larry's Plumbing Company for 25-plus years and was the recipient of the Arkansas State Plumbers Association's "Plumber of the Year" award.
He is also survived by one other son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Christy Owens of Springdale; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Keith Mills and Tanya and Roger Lee, all of Dover; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Pat Owens of Hector and Larry and Wanda Owens of Russellville; one sister, Betty Mills of Hollister, Mo.; two grandchildren, Taylor and Grady Owens, both of Springdale; seven step grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rev. Roy Chisum and Rev. David Owens officiating.
Burial, with military honors provided by Roger-Rye VFW Post 2283, was at St. Joe cemetery north of Atkins.
Active pallbearers were Randall Palmer, Donnie Paige, Matt Hays, Dan Owens, Rick Owens, and Blake Babson.
Honorary pallbearers were Syd Rudder, Darrell Rose, Earl Chisum, and Kenny Summers.
