Troyce Gene Norris
Troyce Gene Norris, 63, of Fayetteville, formerly of Johnson County, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, in Fayetteville.
He was a son of the late Lucille Bertha (Lumbert) and Eden Louis Norris Sr., served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam offensive stationed on a minesweeper, and employee of Am Tram in Los Angeles, Calif., prior to returning to Franklin County where he was employed as a carpenter.
He is survived by two brothers, Eden Norris Jr. and wife, Donna, of Franklin County and Paul William Norris and wife, Barbara, of Marin County, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hutto and husband, Bill, of Faulkner County and Joyce Ann Norris Allen of Woodruff County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Cabool City cemetery in Cabool, Mo., under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
Beatrice V. Harper
Graveside services and burial for Beatrice Violet Harper, 89, who died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, in Lancaster, Calif., were Saturday, Nov. 13, at Ware Chapel cemetery on Dublin Road at Scranton. Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
She was a native of Palmerton, Pa., daughter of the late Augusta and Allen Henry, widow of Thomas Newell Harper, retired employee of Today’s Kids in Booneville, county fair blue ribbon recipient for numerous canned goods and crocheted items, and during World War II was a member of the California “Rosie Riveter” girls who worked on aircraft. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Geraldine Lafaw and one granddaughter, Karen Hedrick, both of Pennsylvania.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Whittaker of Virginia; two sons, Robert and Ronald Green of California; two stepdaughters, Betty Shelton of Arkansas and Shirley Richardson of Texas; five grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Billy Roy Duncan
Billy Roy Duncan, 74, of Ozark died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, in Ozark.
He was self-employed in heat and air sales and repair service, U.S. Army veteran, native of Cameron, Texas, son of the late Roy and Annie Jo Templeton Duncan, and was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Krause Duncan; four sons, Charlie Duncan of Texas, Billy Duncan Jr. of Lamar, and Richard Krause and Robert Krause, both of Ozark; three daughters, JoAnn Duncan of Texas, Kim Thomas of Clarksville, and Sunshine Button of Ozark; two brothers, Ben Duncan of Charleston, and Roy Duncan of Spearsville, La.; one sister, Barbara Irwin of Arlington, Texas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Lamar United Methodist Church with Rev. Tammy Jo Teltow officiating.
Crematory arrangements were under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
C.D. Morgan
Clyde Douglas (C.D.) Morgan, 81, of Clarksville died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
The son of C.C. (Chic) and Nell Hardin Morgan, he was born March 7, 1929, in Spadra. He and Barbara Stone were married
Nov. 29, 1957, at Tulsa, Okla. He was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School and the University of the Ozarks, spent 54 years in the oil business, former member of Texas and Oklahoma Petroleum Landman Association and the American Association of Petroleum Landman.
Clyde loved sports and especially enjoyed his years coaching little league baseball, supporting his sons in baseball, basketball, and football. He was an avid Razorback fan. He loved gospel music, animals and kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ruth Burnham.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Doug Morgan and wife, Michelle, of Hartman and David Morgan and wife, Bonnie, of El Dorado; two grandchildren, Lynsey and husband, Cody Clemens of Jacksonville, N.C., and Zachary Morgan of El Dorado; two sisters, Carolyn and husband, Richard Leisman of Maumelle and Rachel (Baba) and husband, Harold Johnson of Clarksville; sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Spadra Methodist Church in Spadra. Kevin Kilbreath, associate pastor of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith, officiated.
Burial was at Shady Grove cemetery, Clarksville.
Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 14, 3 to 5 p.m. at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville.

Deborah Gail Hensley, 59, of Clarksville died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at her home.
A native of West Helena, she was a daughter of the late William Herman and Ruby Jewell McDaniel Fowler, and a beautician.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Skiles of Clarksville and Michelle Haynes of Claremore, Okla.; one sister, Cindy Denton of Sapulpa, Okla.; two brothers, Denny Fowler of Conway and Don Fowler of Clarksville; and three grandchildren, Amber Skiles of Clarksville and Kurtis and Lauren Weeks of Claremore, Okla.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel.
Dustin Dean Domerese
Dustin Dean Domerese, 27, of Branson, Mo., grandson of the late Arthur Dean Domerese of Clarksville, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
He was a native of Branson, Mo., 2001 graduate of Branson High School, guitarist and had been a member of several bands.
Survivors include his son, Landon; parents, Robert and Lisa Domerese; brother, Matthew Domerese; grandparents, Peggy Domerese and Bill and Debbie Gapske.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson, Mo.

Ellen Josephine Boling, 86, of Fallsville died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Jasper.
She was a native of Red Star, daughter of the late William T. Neff and McHaley Jane Hughes Neff, and preceded in death by one son, Gary Dean Boling; four sisters, Nan, Bertha, Mary and Ida; and two brothers, Gene and Dean Neff.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Boling; two sons, Ronnie Boling and wife, Connie, of Fallsville and Ernie Boling and wife, Betty, of Clarksville; two sisters, Ethel Williams of Huntsville and Ada Stanphill of Alpena; one granddaughter, Leanna Baker and husband, John, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one step granddaughter, Tiffinia Morrison and husband, John, of Pansy; one step grandson, Bill Parnell and wife, Andrea, of Russellville; one great-granddaughter, Chloe Baker and one great-grandson, Hayden Baker of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one step great-grandson, Kaleb Morrison of Pansy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Southerland-Boling cemetery at Fallsville.
Honorary pallbearers were John Baker, Larry Neff, Roger Auman, Danny Boling, Craig Williams, Larry Davis, John Morrison and Stacy McCormick.
Frederick C. Mustain
Frederick C. Mustain, 56, of Clarksville died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at his home.
He was a native of Fort Sill, Ala., Army major veteran, and employed in material management-supply at Arkansas State Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Mustain; three sons, James F. Mustain and wife, Elisabeth, of Little Rock, Robert Mustain and wife, Jackie, of Colorado, and Jason Mustain of Clarksville; parents, James C. and Betty Smith Mustain of St. Joe, Minn.; one sister, Jamie Mustain of Minnesota; one brother, Barry Mustain of Minnesota; and three grandchildren, Jillian and Ilene of Colorado and Logan of Indiana.
Crematory arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
