Glaydene Gooden
Glaydene Gooden, 79, of Russellville, whose daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Craig Criswell reside in Knoxville, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Morrilton.
She was a native of Spencerville, Ohio, daughter of the late Wilda and Naomi Butler Point, and former resident of Washington, DC, where she was employed as a file clerk for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She was a member of West Side Church of Christ in Russellville and WINGS Ladies Bible Program, served as a reading tutor for Russellville School District for many years, and was preceded in death by a daughter Rebecca (Becky) Sue Gooden; granddaughter; Laurie Kendrick; and two brothers, Gerald Point and Bill Point.
Other survivors include her husband, Billy F. Gooden;one son, Rodney Gooden and wife, Wanda, of Searcy; four grandchildren, Josh Criswell of Knoxville, John David, Jenny and Caroline Gooden of Searcy; and one sister, Sue Truesdale of Lima, Ohio.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at West Side Church of Christ with Bruce Grice officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Spires cemetery in Damascus under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers will be Josh Criswell, Hue Pierce, Glenn Holmes, Jim Setters, David Point, and Adam Gooden.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Patton, Johnny Fields, and John David Gooden.

Anzonetta Rupe
Anzonetta M. (Nettie) Rupe, 94, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Clarksville.
She was a native of Walla Walla, Wash., daughter of the late Leander and Pearl Case Caldwell, widow of Marvin E. Rupe, member of Central Christian Church in Fort Smith, and was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Jo Ann Ramirez.
She is survived by one son, Monte Miles of Fort Jones, Calif.; one stepson, Charles Gray of Lamar; one stepdaughter, Peggy Churchill of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Crematory arrangements were under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

Edna Hickey
Edna Hickey, 90, of Clarksville died Friday, July 30, 2010, at Clarksville.
She was a native of Lutherville, daughter of the late Joe and Clara Johnson, widow of Dwight Hickey, member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, and was preceded in death by one son, Charles Hickey; and four brothers, Gene Johnson, Gaylon Johnson, Meeks Johnson, and Marland Johnson.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Hickey and wife, Phyllis, and Joe Hickey and wife, Kathy, all of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Steven Hickey of Orlando, Fla., Allison Varnell of Knoxville, Angie Bishop of Little Rock, Jody Hickey of Denver, Colo., and Ginger Mills of Cabot; and four great-grandchildren, Thomas and Nathan Varnell, Charlie Hickey, and Lainey Mills.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Freeman officiating.
Burial was in Holman cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Steven Hickey, Jody Hickey, Todd Mills, Phillip Varnell, Billy Bishop, and Kenneth Johnson.
Grady G. Breed
Grady Glendon Breed, 80, of Knoxville died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at his home.
He was a native of Morton, Miss., retired carpenter, Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Breed; one daughter, Donna Johnson of Lake Providence, La.; three sons, Steve Breed, Jeff Breed, and George Breed, all of Knoxville; mother, Sarah Breed of Hollywood, Fla.; three sisters, Barbara Bailey of Ozone, Johnnie Glantz of Hollywood, Fla., and Virginia Alter of Interlachen, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Snyder officiating.
Horace Wayne Butler
Horace Wayne Butler, 68, of Clarksville died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, in Clarksville.
He was a native of Duncan, Okla., truck driver, member of Lamar United Methodist Church, son of the late Oland Morris and Geneva Box Butler, and was preceded in death by one brother, Oland Morris Butler Jr.
He is survived by two daughters, Stormy Alisha Butler of Clarksville and Misty Geneva Horton of Russellville; one son, Ronnie Wayne Butler of Lamar; one brother, Stanley Kim Butler of Plainview, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Big Valley cemetery in Chillicothe, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Butler, Jeff Horton, and Chuck Patton.

John O. Woodard
John Orland Woodard, 99, of Clarksville died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Clarksville Health and Rehab.
He was a son of the late James Morgan and Minda Bean Woodard, member of the Baptist Church, retired Baptist minister and school bus driver, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Easter Lillie Bean Woodard; and his second wife, Faye Evelyn Pitts Woodard.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Faye Domerese and husband, George, of Russellville and Charlotte Marie Rowbotham and husband, Noel, of Hagarville; one sister-in-law, Leola Woodard of Clarksville; two nephews, Dane Woodard of Clarksville and David Woodard of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jacob Edwards, Sean Spragins, Rick Flinn, Jim Spragins, Shawn Woods, and Dane Woodard.

L.G. Tumbleson Sr.
L.G. Tumbleson Sr., 70, of Clarksville died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Clarksville.
He was a native of Hagarville, attended a non-denominational church, former sales employee, and was preceded in death by his parents, Harley Lenley and Ora Bell Dodge Tumbleson; and one son, Edward Keith Tumbleson.
He is survived by seven daughters, Jennifer Morgan of Coal Hill, Kathy Boydston of Fort Smith, Linda Dorsett of Clarksville, Sheri Holman and Audrey Tumbleson, both of Lamar, Mavis Mooney of Knoxville, and Melissa Tumbleson of Washington; five sons, Marty Tumbleson of Lamar, L.G. Tumbleson Jr. of Clarksville, Travis Tumbleson of Coal Hill, and Bryson Tumbleson and Brian Tumbleson, both of Washington; one brother, James Harley Tumbleson of Kansas; 32 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Thacker officiating. Burial was in Minnow Creek cemetery.
