KENNETH ADAMS
Kenneth Adams age,67 of Texarkana, Texas passed away Friday November 25,2011 at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, Texas, after a long illness. Mr. Adams was born September 2,1944 in Bradley, Arkansas to Vester and Mary Pauley Adams. Mr. Adams was a member of the Bradley Baptist Church, Bradley, Arkansas.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, two dear friends Tina; and Myrtle Fletcher. 4 brothers William, Rudolph, James Fay, and Billy Ray Adams.
2 Sisters: Hazel Adams Dyer and Cynthia Adams Richardson.
Mr. Adams is survived by a sister Lillie Davidson of Haughton, LA
2 Brothers Raymond and Linda Adams of Bradley, AR and James Adams of Ashland, LA and number of Nieces and Nephews.
2 Special Friends Ray of Texarkana and Nikki Michell of Texarkana.
Graveside Services will be held 11am Monday November 28,2011 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley, Arkansas with Bro. Jason Hebert Officiating. Under the direction of the A.O. Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, Arkansas.
MRS. BERNICE TAYLOR
Mrs. Bernice Taylor, 81, of Nashville, AR, passed away November 02, 2011 at her home.
She was born November 30, 1929 in Fort Smith, AR. to Clarence & Martha Collins-Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Joe Lee Reynolds and her sister; Roberta Minter.
She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother, always looking out for her family & friends.
Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Martha Dixon (William) of Hope, AR and Ms. Darlene Reynolds of Nashville, AR, five grandchildren;Tracy Snell (Steven) of Nashville, AR, Mrs. Chiquita Thurman (Denell) of Texarkana, Ms Erika Dixon of Hope, AR, William & Kim Dixon of Houston, TX. seven great-grandchildren and a host og nieces & nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 12th, at Williams Temple Memorial Church in Nashville, AR.
Officiating will be Rev. Hogan.
Bobby Wright
Bobby Wright, age 56, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born February 21, 1955 in Lewisville, Arkansas. Mr. Wright was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the Lord and served him everyday. He was a deacon of Stamps First Baptist Church, and a retiree of Cooper Tire and Rubber Co. in Texarkana.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his grandparents; Bob and Elby Sewell, and also by his Mother, Helen Sewell Wright.
He is survived by: His loving wife of 35 years, Kathy Wright of Lewisville, Arkansas; Two Sons and Daughter-in-Laws: Robert Wright and wife Betty of Hope, Arkansas; Phillip Wright and wife Brittany of Buckner, Arkansas.
One Brother and Sister-in-Law; Neil Wright and wife Carol of Lewisville, Arkansas.
One Granddaughter; Emma Wright of Hope, Arkansas
One Grandson; Josey Wright of Buckner, Arkansas

A celebration service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Stamps with Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Sewell cemetery in Lewisville, Arkansas under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes, Inc. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the funeral home in Stamps. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Long Range Building Fund at First Baptist Church in Stamps.
C.L. DYER
C.L. Dyer, age 74 of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011. Mr. Dyer was born March 12, 1937, in Walkers Creek, Arkansas, to Robert and Clifford Dyer.
Mr. Dyer was preceded in death by his son, Kerry Lawrence Dyer.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Dyer of Taylor, AR; his daughter, Debbie Dreher and husband, Mark of Taylor, AR; his brother, Jerry Dyer and wife, Rhonda of Benton, LA; and his sister, Margie Payne and husband, Harold of Taylor, AR.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Stateline Cemetery in Taylor, AR, with Bro. Charles Woolley and Bro. Cole Melton officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, AR.
CORINNE FORD MAGEE GLADNEY
Corinne Ford Magee Gladney, age 93, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011. She was born September 21, 1918, in Danville, Arkansas, to the late William Henry and Alta Hunter Ford. She moved to Lewisville, Arkansas when she was one year old and remained there until she married and moved to Hope, Arkansas. She attended Southern State College in Magnolia, Arkansas, and graduated from Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hope, Arkansas, a former Sunday School teacher, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roy William Ford and Albert Ford; one son, William Ford Magee; one grandson, Fleet Burton Magee; her first husband Jake Franklin Magee and her second husband of thirty-seven years, Robert L. Gladney.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Franklin Magee; a daughter, Mary Magee Ward; two granddaughters, Jeannie Magee Coleman and husband Michael John Coleman and Wendy Ward Blasingame and husband Spencer Blasingame; two step-daughters, Catharine Tackett and husband Curtis Tackett and Mary Grace “Gigi” Hazel and husband Lonnie Hazel; and one stepson, Robert T. Gladney and wife Liz Gladney.
Memorial Services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, November 14, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church in Hope, Arkansas, with Dr. Phillip W. McLarty officiating.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Hope, or Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville.
JAMES D. WATSON
James D. Watson, age 64, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away November 7, 2011. He was born June 23,1947 to Howard and Opal Louise Mayfield Watson.
Mr. Watson is proceeded in death by his parents.
