Mrs. Janice Marie Hill, 46, of Rosston, AR. passed away, January 31st at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN
She was born June 3, 1965 in Rosston, AR to Willie B. Christopher & Mae Girtha Tidwell-Christopher.
She is preceded in death by her father

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 10th at 2:00pm at Pine Grove A.M.E. Church in Rosston, AR with burial following in the church cemetery.

VIRGINIA CATHERINE CASH CLARK
Virginia Catherine Cash Clark, age 84, of Falcon, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2012, at Magnolia Healthcare and Rehab in Magnolia, AR. Mrs. Clark was born on August 13, 1927, in Monticello, AR, as one of 9 children to Oliver and Florence Cash. She was married to Loyce James Clark for 33 years until his death in 1978. Together they had 6 children. She was a homemaker until she went to work for the Alan White Furniture Company in Stamps where she worked for 29 years until she retired in 1993. She loved watching her family grow and especially enjoyed holidays and her birthday celebration each year. Huge family get-togethers were common at Grandma Jenny’s, and if she knew of anyone who had nowhere to go during a holiday, those people would find a welcome place at her house. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Falcon Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Judy Doss and husband, Eddie of Waldo, AR; Jimmy Clark and wife, Pat of Falcon, AR; Shirley Vines and husband, “Bo” of Bodcaw, AR; Bobby Clark and wife, Sandy of Buckner, AR; Danny Clark and wife, Tess of Hope, AR; and Connie Weems and husband, Randy of Buckner, AR; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Taylor of Florida; and one brother, John Ed Cash of Bodcaw, AR.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR, with grandsons Bro. Justin Clark and Bro. Tim Vines, and Bro. David Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow at Falcon Cemetery in Falcon, AR. Visitation will be held at 6-8pm Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Edward Vines, Jeremy Clark, Jason Clark, Daniel Clark, Wade Carlton, Robby Metcalf, Kevin Mote, and Scott Meeler. Honorary Pallbearers are great-grandsons, Tyler and Todd Metcalf, Brett Vines, Rayden Vines, Brandon Harris, and grandson, Bobby Harris who is currently serving our country in Afghanistan.
DAVID JAMES PEDRAZA
David James Pedraza, age 46, of Buckner, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center. Mr. Pedraza was born on November 4, 1966 in Texas City, Texas to Daniel Timothy Pedraza and Sarah Hunsucker.
David was preceded in death by a Brother, Daniel Pedraza, Jr., and his Grandfather, J.B. Bradley.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jane Pedraza of Buckner, Arkansas; Father, Daniel and Gloria Pedraza of Texas City, Texas; Mother, Sarah and Howard Hunsucker of Homer, Louisiana; Three Daughters; Darlene Meeler of Stamps, Arkansas, Janice Teague of Genoa, Arkansas, and Karen Rogers of Walker, Louisiana. Three Grandsons; Cody Wicker of Buckner, Arkansas, Jonathan Rogers of Stamps, Arkansas, and Will Rogers of Walker, Louisiana. Five Granddaughters; Krystal Phillips of Stamps, Arkansas, Brooklyn Rogers of Walker, Louisiana, Carlie Teague, Cara Teague, and Casey Teague, all of Genoa, Arkansas. Two Great-Grandsons; Blaze Rogers, and Jaxon Rogers, both of Walker, Louisiana. Three Best Friends; Mike Gaines and Chad Dickson, both of Rosston, Arkansas, and Karl Salb of Crossett, Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous family and extended family in Texas City, Texas, and Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
BARBARA ANN EDGELL
Barbara Ann Edgell, age 68, of Springhill, Louisiana, passed away at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Mrs. Edgell was born August 28, 1944, in Teneha, Texas.
Mrs. Edgell was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Aaron.
She is survived by her husband, of 26 years, Charles Edgell of Springhill, LA; son, Randel Allen of Springhill, LA; two step-sons, Khristopher M. Edgell and wife, Thelma of Bossier City, LA and Charles Edgell, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Cut-n-Shoot, TX; brothers, David and wife, Jo Ellen of Nachotiches, LA; Darrell; Carl and wife, Elaine; Gene and wife, Linda; and Jesse all of Walker Creek, AR; sisters, Lillie Mae and husband, Gerald of Walker Creek, AR; and Betty and husband, Frank of Porterville, LA; 3 grandsons, C.J., Mikel, and Trinity; 2 granddaughters, Sarah and Kyrstin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, AR, with her nephew, Barry White officiating. Burial will follow at Welcome Cemetery in Springhill, LA. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, AR. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Nickerson, Jimmy Johnson, Wayne Darden, Roland Johnson, Rodney Johnson, Robert Edgell, and Robert Johnson; Honorary Pallbearer will be Dennis Johnson.

Rev. Melvin Ward, 82 of Stamps, AR passed away June 24th at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, AR
He was born March 2, 1930 in Emerson, AR to Tyree and Lucy Harris-Ward.
He attended school at Clevet Springs in Emerson, AR, was a self-employed pulpwood contractor, and also worked for Lafayette County as a truck driver.
He was an ordained minister and help organize and pastured the True Vine C.O.G.I.C. Church in Texarkana, AR for twenty-three years until his health failed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jimmy Lee and William “Shorty” Ward, Sr. ,a sister, Jearlene Ward, and grandparents, Frank and Gussie Ward..
He’s survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary J. Ward of Stamps, One daughter, Mrs. Kim Davis of Houston, TX, Four brothers, Calvin, John, and Wilson “Pete” Ward all of Stamps, AR. Arvester Ward of Tyler, TX. Two sisters, Mrs. Christeen Mitchell of Dallas, TX. And Mrs. Linda Cooper of Emerson, AR. Three grandsons, two uncles, two aunts, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am, at Smith Chapel in Stamps, with burial to follow in the Lakeside Cemetery. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps. Officiating will be Supt. David West.
Visitation: Friday 11:am till 4:p.m.

Ms. Sarah Conway, 97, of Rosston, AR passed away June 28th at Hillcrest Care & Rehab. Center in Prescott, AR
She was born February 13, 1915 in Prescott, AR to Robert Brewer & Emma Mixon-Brewer.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, (3)husbands, and a host of other relatives
Survivors include: (1)sister: Mrs. Jessie McKinney(Rosston, AR) & (1)brother: William Brewer(Rockford, IL) and many other relatives & friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, July 7th at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston, AR with burial following in the church cemetery.

Henry O’Neil Fletcher
Henry O’Neil Fletcher age 71, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away Friday June 15, 2012 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Fletcher was born August 12, 1940 in McNeil, Arkansas to Jim and Pearl Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lewisville.
Mr. Fletcher was retired from Ethyl Corporation and Poultry Farming. He was a member of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge #14 and a Shriner, former Mayor of the City of Lewisville and a Constable for Steele Township of Lafayette County.
Mr. Fletcher is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Pearl Fletcher, brothers: Jackie Fletcher, George Fletcher, and Lewis Fletcher. Sisters: Shirley Brown and Marie Holz.
Mr. Fletcher is survived by his wife Diane Fletcher of 49 years
Son: Neal Fletcher and wife Julie of Genoa, Arkansas
Daughter: Philesha Southern of Lewisville, Arkansas
Grandchildren: Hayden Fletcher Southern, Gibson and Hunter Fletcher.
Sisters: Corrine Brandenburg of Duncanville, Texas; Mary McMillan of Dierks, Arkansas; Martha Fletcher of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Monday June 18, 2012 from 6-8 pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas.
Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery, Lewisville, Arkansas.
