JESSE RAY PATTERSON
Jesse Ray Patterson, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 18, 2012. Mr. Patterson was born on January 5, 1922, in Bruce, Mississippi. He was a man of true strength and courage and will be missed by all that knew and loved him
Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Patterson.
He is survived by his precious wife of 69 years, Kathleen Faye Patterson; daughter, Cindy Patterson; son Fred Patterson, son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Lorri Patterson; and six beautiful grandchildren that were his pride and joy, Josh, Amberlee, Elizabeth, Maddie, Matt and Sophia.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 22, 2012, at East Funeral Home in Texarkana under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Burial will follow at Rocky Mound Cemetery.
Joyce Virginia Cameron Smith
Joyce Virginia Cameron Smith, age 86, of Benton, Arkansas, formerly of Stamps, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1926 in Bodcaw, Arkansas, to the late Arnold Rhodes Cameron and Artie Boswell Cameron.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Shiloh Union Baptist Church in Buckner, Arkansas. She was retired from the Alan White Company. She was an avid seamstress, gardener, and cook. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, dedicating her life to God and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Hershel Aurin Smith, her parents, and one brother, Clifton Laroy Cameron.
She is survived by her twin sons, Ron Smith of El Dorado, Arkansas, Rick Smith and wife Linda of Benton, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Patrick (Tony) Smith and wife Heather of Montgomery, Alabama; Mandy Palmer and husband Justin of Bryant, Arkansas, and Julie Treat and husband Stuart of Bryant, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Treat, Elizabeth and Jake Palmer of Bryant, Arkansas, Kali Logan of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and Charlee Smith of Montgomery, Alabama. One great-great grandchild Tristan Logan.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas, with Rev. Larry Silvey and Bro. Charles Loyed officiating with burial in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
JUSTIN BLAKE SMITH
Justin Blake Smith, age 17, of Buckner, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Justin was born September 17, 1994, in Magnolia, Arkansas, to Mike and Glenda Smith. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Stamps, AR, and a member of the First Baptist Church Choir Tour 2012. Justin was also a member of the Magnolia Panther Football and Baseball teams as well as the Stamps Fire Department.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Allen; grandparents, Arvie and Sula Sheffield; great grandfathers, Donald L. Smith and Clifford Cleveland; great grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Donahoe; aunt, Susan Diane Smith; and uncle, Danny Ray Smith, Jr.
He is survived by his parents; his sisters, Morgan, Lauren and Kristin Smith of Buckner, AR; brother, Camden Smith of Buckner, AR; grandparents, Danny and Janice Smith of Buckner, AR; grandfather, James Mac Allen of Stamps, AR; great grandparents, Everitte and Magdalene Smith Bearden of Stamps, AR; uncle, Donald Smith of Magnolia, AR; uncles and aunts, Bill and Dana Downs of Stamps, AR, Stevie and Tammy Yates of Lewisville, AR, and David and Tina Downs of Stamps, AR; special friend, Madison Gore of Magnolia, AR; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Lafayette County High School Gymnasium with Bro. W.D. Smith, Bro. Ernie Sorrells, and Bro. Dustin Wisely officiating, under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Stamps, AR. Active Pallbearers are, Chase Jones, Chance Jones, Kade Strickland, Zach Wilbur, Trent Downs, Kent Grimmett, Josh Smelser, and Donnie Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are Hayden Halbert and Zach Ellis. Mr. Haynie Jackson, Sr.
Mr. Haynie Jackson, Sr., 92, of Rosston, AR passed away December 3, 2012 at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, TX.
He was born April 18, 1920 in Rosston, AR to Tommie Jackson & Rosie Haynie-Jackson.
He was a member of Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston where he served as a deacon. He was a World War 2 veteran and retired from Enrous Oil Company. He was also a Mason.
He is preceded in death by: his parent, brothers: James Jackson & Tommie Jackson, Jr., and sister: Ollie Mae Jackson
Survivors include: (1)sister: Ms. Elizabeth Hughey of Stephens, AR; (1)grandchild
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 8th at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston, AR with burial following in the church cemetery.
Under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
Officiating will be Rev. Victor Morgan
Visitation will be Friday 12:noon-4:pm at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps
Military honors will be performed at the graveside.
K. June Pafford
K. June Pafford, age 76, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 in a Little Rock Hospital. Mrs. Pafford was born on May 13, 1936 in McKamie, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Springhill, Louisiana High School, retiree of Teeco Safety, and a vital part of Pafford EMS. June was a member of the Dusty Wheels Motorcycle Club. She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and thoroughly enjoyed her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by: Her loving Husband of 57 years, H. Rod Pafford of Hope, Arkansas

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the funeral home in Stamps.
KATHRYN JANE HOUSE
Kathryn Jane House, age 67, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012. Mrs. House was born October 19, 1945, in Magnolia, Arkansas, to Charles and Lillie Moore. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who gave her heart to her Lord and Savior and will be missed by all. Mrs. House was a member of First Baptist Church in Stamps.
Mrs. House was preceded in death by her parents; her step-son, Chris Allen House; brother, William Brummett; and sister, Linda Cannon.
She is survived by her husband of thirty years, James House of Stamps, AR; three sons, Bobby Bruce Harbour and wife, Donna of Sarepta, LA; Mark Shane Harbour of Stamps, AR; and James Kevin House and wife, Melanie of Blanchard, LA; daughter, Robin Harbour of Sarepta, LA; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 20, 2012, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR, with Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, AR. Visitation will held from 6-8 pm Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR.
