John R. McDonald
John R. McDonald, age 83, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away at a Texarkana Hospital Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born June 13, 1930 in Stamps, Arkansas to James C. and Augusta Knott McDonald.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stamps, and a Korean War Veteran.
He is survived by One Brother; James McDonald of Ashdown, Nephew Jimmy McDonald of Texarkana, Niece Ann Musial of Bentonville, Arkansas, a loving friend Patsy Traywick of Stamps, and many other friends and relatives.
A Graveside service will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps with Bro. Mike Turner officiating.
Mr. Johnnie Ray Jamerson
Mr. Johnnie Ray “Q-Ball” Jamerson, 57, of Magnolia, AR passed away June 11th at Magnolia Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 19, 1955 in Magnolia, AR to Otha Jamerson, Sr. & Maurice Wright-Jamerson.
He is preceded in death by: father: Otha Jamerson, Sr.; (1)son: Quinton Jones; and (1)brother: Otha Jamerson, Jr.
Survivors include: his wife: Mrs. Sharon Jamerson(Greenville, TX); (3)daughters: Mrs. SeQuanda Jamerson & Mrs. Tynisha Jamerson both of Muskegon, MI, & Mrs. Aniyah Jamerson(Greenville, TX); his mother: Mrs. Maurice Jamerson(Magnolia); (3)brothers: Hubert Jamerson(Muskegon, MI), Vincent Jamerson(Magnolia), & Tony Jamerson(San Antonio, TX); (3)sisters: Mrs. Virginia Jamerson, Mrs. Freda Carrington, & Mrs. Aretha Jamerson all of Magnolia; 6-grandchildren & 1-step grandchild; (2)step-daughters: Mrs. Chyna Forest(Greenville, TX) & Mrs. Monica Forest(Texarkana, AR).
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15th at 1:pm at the Youngblood Auditorium in Magnolia, AR with burial following in the Plain View Cemetery in Magnolia.
Under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
Officiating will be Rev. Tony Smith.
Visitation will be Friday 11:am-5:pm at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR.
Military honors will be performed at the graveside.
Mr. Robert James, Jr.
Mr. Robert James, Jr., 85, of Garland, AR passed away June 3rd at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX.
He was born May 6, 1928 in Louisiana to Robert James, Sr. & Evie Hall. He later moved to Garland, AR and became a member of the Wynn Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an Usher.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, wife: Jerline James, and son: Robert James, III.
Survivors include: (1)son: Roy L. James(Las Vegas, NV); (2)sisters: Mrs. Dora M. Hector & Mrs. Gloria James both of Garland, AR; 2-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 9th at 1:pm at Wynn Missionary Baptist Church in Garland, AR with burial following in the church cemetery

RONNIE W. SMITH
Ronnie Smith, age 51, of San Diego, California, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his home. Ronnie was born July 7, 1961. He graduated from Dorman High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He worked at Phillips Fibers before he moved to California and became disabled.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Ovid Smith; and brother, Gary Wynne Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Smith of Moore, SC; nephew, Tim Smith and wife, Liz; niece, Alice Morse; great-nephews, Timothy and Riley Morse; and great-nieces, Mary Beth Morse and Justice Laarman. He loved them all dearly.
Ronnie was adopted at the age of five. In recent years, he regained contact with his biological siblings, including Gene Fulcher of Hot Springs, AR, and a number of other siblings.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or gifts can be sent, care of Tim Smith for educational expenses of Ronnie’s great-nieces and nephews, to 93 Peachwood St., Moore, SC 29369.
