Gip Jerry Wells, 27, of North Little Rock, died Oct. 24, 2005. Survivors include children; Dakota, Dalton and Aspen Wells of Texas, Saera Cox of Little Rock; parents, Linda and Jerry Wells of North Little Rock; brother, Glenn Seyller, sister, Missy Moss both of Little Rock.
Graveside service, Thursday 11 a.m. at Wattensaw cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home.
Charlotte L. Liska
Charlotte Lynn Morgan Liska, 53, of Lonoke, formerly of Tupelo, MS, died Oct. 23, 2005.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Liska of Lonoke; stepchildren, Dustin Liska of Anchorage, AK, and Kelly Liska of Lonoke; mother, Vona Morgan of Mooreville, MS; and sister, Beverly Morgan Smith of Greenville, MS.
Services were held Oct. 26 at Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues in Tupelo.
Bertha Clement
Bertha “Lucille” Clement, 79, of Hensley, died Oct. 25, 2005. She was a long time member of East Union Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Clement; daughter, Sharon Kincaid of Cabot; sister, Edith Duda of Iowa; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 28 at East Union Baptist Church in East End Community. Burial followed at East End cemetery. Arrangements were by Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home.
Leigh Ann Benton
Leigh Ann Benton, 36, Little Rock, died Oct. 26, 2005.
Survivors include her parents, Bob and Janet Benton, Pine Bluff; daughter, Cassidy Mills-Benton; brothers, Steve Benton, Jeff Benton, both of Cabot and Bradley Benton, Holly Grove; grandmother, Lena Mills-Benton, Pine Bluff.
Graveside services were held Oct. 28 at the Oakland cemetery, Fordyce.
Luie Mae Taylor
Luie Mae Clark Taylor, 77, of Sheridan, formerly of DeWitt, died Oct. 27, 2005. She was a homemaker and member of Common Ground Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Wayne Clark; daughter, Wanda Susan Vance both of Pine Bluff; sister, Ann Wooten of Lexa, and Francis Leslie of Cabot; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 29 at Essex Funeral Home Chapel in DeWitt, with burial at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens.
Fayburn C. Bryant
Fayburn C. Bryant, 80, of North Little Rock, died Oct. 29, 2005. He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock.
Survivors include his son, Carroll Bryant of Hope; daughters, Rita Brewer of Cabot, and Reba Hawkins Rodney of Maumelle; seven grandsons and 12 great-grandchildren.

Perry L. Dodson, Jr.
Deacon Perry Lee Dodson, Jr., 64, of Lonoke, died Oct. 22, 2005. He was vice chairman of St. John Baptist Deacon Board, one of the original members of the Zion 5 Jr. Gospel Singers, vice president of St. John Baptist Choir and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Estella Dodson; daughter, Bonita Walter of Little Rock; son, Rev. Brian Dodson of DeValls Bluff; brothers, Major Dodson of California and Robert Dodson of Lonoke; sister, Laura Spencer of Lonoke; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Oct. 29 at Gateway Fellowship Church. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Garden. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home.
Pearl Dobbins Gray
Pearl Dobbins Gray, 94, of Cabot, (formerly of North Little Rock) died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004. She accepted Christ as her savior as a young girl at Antioch Baptist Church, Zion, and attended the First Assembly of God Church while living in North Little Rock.
She is survived by one daughter, Helen J. Smith of Cabot; one grandson; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by one sister, Velta Owen of Batesville.
Visitation was Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service was at Rest Hills Memorial Park, Sherwood.
Loyse Wilson
Loyse Wilson, 71, of Austin, died Sept. 9, 2004. Survivors include his wife, four daughters; one son; and two grandsons.
Visitation was Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at Sixteenth Section Methodist Church, with burial in Center Point cemetery.
Floyd Williams
Floyd Williams, 83, formerly of Lonoke, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004.
Graveside services were Sept. 15, at Weedon cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
C. Zane Hankins
C. Zane Hankins, 67, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Boyd Hankins; two daughters, Belinda DeAnn Hankins Miller of Jacksonville and Andrea Lea Hankins Glenn of Cabot; two grandchildren; one sister, Lenola “Toni” Poff of Desha; two brothers, Charles W. Hankins of El Dorado, and Bobby N. Hankins of Jonesboro.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville where he was currently serving as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, GROW Captain and on several committees. He devoted much of his time and resources to the building program at First Baptist Church over the past 15 years. He was a member of the Razorback Lettermen’s Club and the Arkansas Alumni Association. He served in the U.S. Army before beginning his career as a high school basketball coach, having coached in Mayflower, Cabot, Clinton and Jacksonville. After retiring from coaching, he was an insurance agent for Shelter Insurance until he and his wife, Judith, became the owners-operators of United Abstract and Title Co. Inc. in Jacksonville and Cabot. He was an active member of the National Federation of Independent Businesses and was currently serving on the Board of Trustees of Rebsamen Medical Center in Jacksonville.
Funeral services were Sept. 13, at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville followed by interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.

Mary Jane Overton
Mary Jane Wilson Overton, 85, of Scott died Sept. 7, 2004.
She was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church and an officer of United Methodist Women’s Group. She worked at Tuff-Nutt and Finkbeiner’s Meat Packing Company.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Overton of Scott; sister, Hazel Miller of Scott; a grandchild; two great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Concord cemetery, 150 Concord Road, Lonoke, Ark. 72086.
Funeral service was held Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial was in Concord cemetery.
Kenneth Lurel Coots
Kenneth Lurel Coots, age 73, of Searcy, died Sept. 7, 2004.
Survivors include daughter, Peggy Johnson of Cabot; son, Dexter Lynn Coots; one sister, Wilma Martin of Cave City; two brothers, Don Coots of Searcy and Lloyd Coots of Saltillo, Miss.
Graveside services were Sept. 9, at Welcome Home cemetery in Des Arc. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, Cabot.
