Richard G. McCullough
Richard Gregory McCullough, 35, of Little Rock died June 2, 2004.
He was a Persian Gulf War veteran while serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Hawes (FFG 53). He was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation, Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy “E” Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal and Good Conduct Medal Award.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy Denise McCullough; three children, Kaley Denise, Little Rock, Dalyn Michael Ford, Little Rock, Devin Jade McCullough, of Cabot; father, Richard D. McCullough and mother, Teresa L. McCullough, of New Albany, Ind.; brothers, Christopher M. Childers, of Hampton, and Timothee Richard McCullough of New Albany, Ind.; sister, Terri L. Kemp, of Hampton; grandfather, H.D. McCullough and grandmother, Opal McCullough of Camden.

Funeral services were Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Arkansas State Veterans cemetery.
John Hughes Measels
John Hughes Measels, 93, of Searcy died June 1, 2004.
He was a Baptist, a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and a retired division manager with the Mississippi River Transmission Corp.
Survivors are his wife, Julie Knowles Measels; sons, Carlton W. Measles of Desha, Bobby Glen Measels of Carlisle, Gerald Lee Measels of Searcy and John William Measels of Cabot; stepsons, W.T. Cummings and Tommy L. Allen of Maumelle; a stepdaughter, Betty Sue Tullos of Maumelle; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Friday at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Carlisle cemetery.
Thomas W. Gates
Thomas William Gates, 73, of El Paso died June 5, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Gates; Donna and Curtis Vanderpool, Chuck and Cindy Harper, Keith and Nikki Harper, Tracy and Aaron Croy; sisters, Mary Harris, Gladys Rosenbaum, Melba Palmartree, and Cathy Miller; brothers, James Gates, Robert Gates, George Gates; and 9 grandchildren.
Funeral services were June 8 at Mt. Springs Baptist Church in Cabot with interment at Grissard cemetery in El Paso. Funeral arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home.
Martha Bess Bingham
Martha Bess Bingham, 86, of North Little Rock died June 5, 2004.
She was born in Lonoke County.
She was a member of the Caney Creek Baptist Church in the Pettus community in Lonoke County for 70 years. After she moved to North Little Rock, she joined Park Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Open Door Senior Adult I Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her son, John Biscoe Bingham; and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services were June 8, at Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Interment was at Roselawn cemetery in Little Rock.

Donald E. Fallen
Donald Eugene Fallen, age 70 of Cabot, died June 3, 2004.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, and he retired after as a CMSgt from the position of Superintendent of the Little Rock Air Force Base Hospital in 1976. Following his military service, he established the first Family Support Center on Little Rock Air Force Base in 1986 and retired as Director in 1997.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen; two sons, Danny and Dean; two daughters, Christine Anderson and Bernadette Puckett; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A memorial service with military honors was held June 7, in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Parish Hall Fund.

Barry Lynn Ray
Barry Lynn Ray, age 46, of Cabot, died May 31, 2004.
He is survived by his parents, O.W. Bill & Mildred Ray; two brothers, Timothy & Don Ray.
Funeral were held at Mt. Springs Baptist Church in Cabot at June 3. Internment was at Mt. Springs cemetery.

Jacob Willie McNally
Jason Wyatt McNally and Jacob Willie McNally, of Cabot, infant sons of Melissa Walker and Craig McNally, died April 14, 2005.
Survivors include mother and father; brother, Cain McNally, sister, Grayson McNally; grandparents, Jack and Carolyn McNally, and Rose Carroll; and great-grandparents, Inez Coffield, and Maggie Boren.
Services were held April 22 at Christ Worship Center in Cabot.
Helen Sue Talbert
Helen Sue Talbert, age 71, of Jacksonville, died April 14, 2005. She was born in Lonoke County. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a police dispatcher for the City of Little Rock.
Survivors include her son, Jackie Talbert of Little Rock; a daughter, Peggy McDonald of Morton, Ill.; a brother, Lamar Bennett of Doraville, Ga.; a half-brother, Terry Bennett of Joliet, Ill.; one sister, June Bonham of Jacksonville and four grandchildren.
Graveside service was Sunday, April 24 at Sylvania Presbyterian Church cemetery, officiated by Rev. Carl Fawcett. Arrangements by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 5600 W. 12th St., Little Rock, Ark. 72204.
Edna Lucille Rooks
Edna Lucille Baney Rooks, 86, of Ward, died April 21, 2005.
She was retired from Redmond Motors in Jacksonville.
She is survived by six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held April 23 at Westbrook Funeral Home with burial in Sylvania cemetery.
Thomas Marion Dixon
Thomas Marion Dixon, age 62, died April 18, 2005.
He is survived by two sons, George Dixon of Lonoke and David Dixon of Jacksonville; two daughters, Lisa Dixon of Little Rock and Tina Allen of North Little Rock; one brother, Jerry Dixon of Sherwood; a sister, Brenda Arledge of Searcy and three grandchildren.
