Elizabeth M. Petty, 40, of Cabot, died Monday. She is survived by her husband, Mark; two children, Matthew and Kayla Petty, her father, a brother and a sister. Wanda Price
\Wanda Price, 76, of Cabot, died April 26, 2005.
Wanda was of Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by her husband, Sammy Price of Cabot; son, Mark Price of Cabot, two grandchildren; brother, Harold Wallace of California; sisters, Juanita Crumb, Oleti Gilbert both of California, and Dean Hardcastle of Russellville.
A funeral service was held April 28 at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ in Sherwood and interment followed at Cato cemetery.
Gregory J. Tompkins
Gregory James William Lee Jessie Tompkins, infant son of Clayton Tompkins and Jessica Barton, of Lonoke, born and died April 25, 2005.
Survivors include brothers, Andrew Parker of Sheridan and Nathan Gentry, of Bismarck; sisters, Amanda Tribble of Alexandria, and Alyssa and Alex Parker, both of Sheridan; grandparents, Amy and Buddy New of Conway, Mike and Sue Thomas of Lonoke, and Greg and Brenda Blackmon of Malvern.
Funeral services were held April 28 at Cornith Baptist Church in Sheridan with burial in the Cornith cemetery.

Uriah Lang
Uriah Lang, 93, of Jacksonville, died April 26, 2005.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Susan Griffin Lang; sons, Burnice Lang of Cabot and John Lang of Jacksonville; daughters, Frances Smith of Beebe; Prescilla Louise Armstrong of Grant, AL, and Barbara Taylor of Jacksonville; brothers, James, Robert, Zack and Paul; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 29, in the Chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Sixteenth Section cemetery in Cabot.
Sue Rose
Sue Rose, 75, of Griffithville, died April 27, 2005.
She is survived by her son, Glenn Castle of Ward; daughters, Kay Adams of Austin, and Susan Diane Miller of Mabelvale; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 29 at the Garth Funeral Chapel with burial in Welcome Home cemetery.
Ralph Allen Hanner
Ralph Allen Hanner, 51, of McRae, died April 24, 2005.
Survivors include sisters, Joe Staley of Austin, Hazel Thomas of Beebe, and Linda Britton of McRae; and brother, Butch Hanner of McRae.
Memorial services were held on April 30, 2005, at Thomas Funeral Service, in Cabot.
Alden Joe Richter
Alden Joe Richter, eight months old, died April 20, 2005.
He is survived by his parents, Blake and Dales Richter, of Humnoke; grandparents, Carl and Pamela Doles of Humnoke, Richard and Faith Fowler of Lonoke, Donna and Larry Sled of Hamburg and William Richter of Humphrey; great-grandparents, Barbara and Joe Jordan of Stuttgart, Carl and Jeanette Doles of Little Rock, and Laura Kelly of Crossett; and great-great-grandparents, Joe Dole of Stuttgart and Dorothy Warner of Conway.
Funeral services were held April 22 at Turpin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Flynn cemetery.
Lottie Mae Langford
Lottie Mae Holland Langford, 88, of Conway, died April 28, 2005.
She was born January 2, 1917, in Lonoke.
Langford worked for the Pulaski County Special School District. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and also the Arkansas State Teacher Retirement Association.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Deegan of Richardson, TX, sister, Marie Smith of Little Rock, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held May 2, at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Cabot.
Alberta B. Williams
Alberta “Sis” Brown Williams, 87, of Lonoke, died April 30, 2005.
She was an active member of the Lonoke First Assembly of God where she served as church secretary for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her brother, Woodrow Brown of Orange, TX; daughter, Linda Perez of Lonoke; sons, Jimmy Williams of Denison, TX, Bill Williams of Saginaw, MI, Vernon Williams of North Little Rock, Kenneth Williams of Austin and Garry Williams of Austin; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements through Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke, are pending.
Sam Agee, Sr.
Sam Agee Sr., 96, of Cabot, died April 29, 2005.
He retired from Myers bakery in 1974 after almost 50 years. He was a member and deacon of Landmark Baptist church in Jacksonville.
He is survived by his wife of over 76 years, Rosetta Stafford Agee; children, Sam Agee, Jr., and Miladeen Dennie; sister, Ruby Roudebaugh; brother, Marvin Agee; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 2 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
Ronnie J. DuBose
Ronnie J. DuBose, 55, of Cabot, died April 29, 2005.
He was a member of law enforcement for 34 years, including a member of Sherwood Police Department for the last 15 years.
Survivors are his wife, Linda “Wendy” DuBose; brothers, Jimmy C. DuBose of Kansas City, MO, and Bobby G. DuBose of Heber Springs; and sister, Mary Ellen Du-Bose of Sacramento, CA.
A memorial service was held May 2 at Sylvan Hills Community Church, in Sherwood. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Hyram Slaughter, Jr.
Hyram Bankston “H.B” Slaughter, Jr., 81, died April 26, 2005.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joyce; daughters, Brenda Huffman, of Hot Springs, Marla Bridges, of Benton, Machelle Johnson and Raquenta Garrett, both of Cabot, and Bridget Murray, of Shirley: 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services are scheduled for Fri., May 6, at 10 a.m. at the Fairfield Bay Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Arkansas Veteran’s cemetery, in North Little Rock, at 2 p.m.
The family requests that flowers should not arrive at the church before Friday morning just before the service. Memorials may be sent to Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock.
