Rex A. Russell, Jr.
Rex Alexander Russell, Jr., 81, of Searcy, formerly of Moro, Lee County, died Sat., April 2, 2005.
He served in the Armed Forces during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic action. He was a member of Moro Baptist Church.
His survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jean Russell; son, Ronald; daughter, Ramona Henry; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; and sister, Billie Smith of Clarksville.
A graveside memorial service was held April 5 at Oak Grove cemetery in Moro.

Clarence H. Polster
Clarence H. Polster, 86, of Little Rock died April 1, 2005.
He was born March 24, 1919 in Lonoke. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service.
Graveside services were held April 5, at the Arkansas State Veterans cemetery.
Martha Ann Kirk
Martha Ann Kirk, 56, of Lonoke, died March 28, 2005.
She is survived by her daughter, Roma Kirk of Florida; stepson, Bobby Kirk of Lonoke; step-grandchildren, Tori and Tre; and brother, Martin Clark of Louisiana.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Lela Virginia Pack
Lela Virginia Pack, 85, of Lonoke, died April 1, 2005.
Survivors include brothers, Robert Pack, Samuel Pack, John Henry Pack and Tom Pack of Lonoke; and sister, Montine Grugel of Brook Park, OH.
Graveside Services were held April 3, at Lonoke cemetery.
Harold Keith McLoud
Harold Keith McLoud, formerly of Lonoke, 36, died April 2, 2005. Survivors include his mother, Mary Evelyn McLoud of Lonoke; and brother, Louis Elwood “Woody” McLoud of Seattle, WA.
Services were held April 5, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke.

Stella R. Greenhill
Stella Ruth Greenhill, age 84, died March 7, 2005. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Fischer of Lonoke, Margie James of Carlisle and Patricia Fathke of Yantis, Texas; one brother, Danny Marce Greenhill of Gillette; sisters, Virginia Ray and Jewell Johnston of DeWitt; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, March 11 at Boyd Chapel with a committal service in Bonners Chapel cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Vona I. Wood
Vona I. “Pat” Wood, 82, of Cabot, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005. She worked for the Little Rock Police Department where she retired and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Cabot.
She is survived by her son, Don Wood of Sherwood; three grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Beene of Greenbrier, Ona Rockwell, (twin sister) of Malvern and Ruth Moore, of Cabot.
Funeral services were Friday at Victory Baptist Church. Burial was in Mt. Carmel cemetery by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Jean Masner May
Jean Masner May “Mamma Jean”, age 79, of Cabot, died March 7, 2005.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Ann Whitley of Bella Vista; son, Robert Daniel May of Cabot; sister, Billie Masner of Batesville; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
There was a visitation on Friday. Funeral services were Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Campground Union Church in Cabot with interment at Maxville cemetery in Cave City. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service.
Sharon Kay Campbell
Sharon Kay Campbell, age 42, of El Paso, died March 12, 2005. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Cabot and worked for Wal-Mart in Cabot.
Sharon is survived by three brothers, Royce Campbell of California, Tony Campbell, and Ronnie Campbell of El Paso; her grandmother, Annie Tozer of Beebe.
Funeral was Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch cemetery.
Ernest Turanyi
Ernest Turanyi, 85, of Cabot, died March 6, 2005.
Survivors include three daughters: Sandra Menzie of Beebe, Barbara Morrow of Alaska, and Darlene Richards of Colorado; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother and one sister.
Private services were held at the National cemetery in Little Rock.
Nancy Louise Conrad
Nancy Louise Mitchell Britt Conrad, 82, of Lonoke, died March 8, 2005.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lonoke.
She is survived by her children Andrea Schafer and Nancy McDurmont of Lonoke, Maurice L. Britt, III of Royal; step-daughters, Becky Chittenden and Charie Conrad of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jeanne Mitchell Baker of Fort Smith.
Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian Church in Lonoke on March 11 and a committal service followed at Forrest Park cemetery in Fort Smith.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
Vivian W. Jacks
Vivian Wheatley Jacks, 91, of Brinkley, died March 9, 2005.
She was the former owner and operator of Wayside Motel and Cafe, and a retired Justice of the Peace. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Brinkley.
Survivors include sons, L.R. Jacks of Lonoke, and James Russell Jacks of Sun City, AZ; brother Lloyd Wheatley, Clarendon; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church in Brinkley. Interment was in Oaklawn cemetery in Brinkley.
Memorials may be made to Brinkley First Baptist Church or to the Ruth Sunday School class at First Baptist.
