Ethel Singley
Ethel Singley, 88, of Little Rock died Dec. 8, 2003.
She is survived by her children, Mary Hutchinson of Little Rock, Maxine Welch, Mabelvale; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Dec. 10, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, Little Rock.
Joyce Carole Burton
Joyce Carole Burton, age 64, of Cabot died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003.
Graveside service was Dec. 4, at Pleasant Hill cemetery. Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton, was in charge.
Terry McKee
Terry McKee, 64, of Jacksonville, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003.
He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service with the rank of TSgt. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he flew 98 combat missions. He currently was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary where he achieved the rank of Flotilla Commander. He was a boat safety and hunter education instructor and the owner of McKee Electric in Lonoke.
He is survived by his wife Pauline; son, Terry McKee of Jacksonville, daughters, Carla Dennis of Richardson, Texas, and Robin McKee of Ward; brothers, Fred McKee of Iowa and Frank Barnard of Michigan; sisters, Judith Willde of California, Merrie Sue Pease of Texas, Patricia Cleary and Bonnie Tyree both of Alaska; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at the Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment in Arkansas State Veterans cemetery in North Little Rock.
George Leo Wallace
George Leo Wallace, age 46, died Dec. 2, 2003.
He was a member and Deacon of Lonoke Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Quinn Wallace; two sons, George Wallace, Jr. of Sherwood and Richard Wallace of Lonoke; his mother, Beatrice Wallace of Clarendon; one brother, Leonard Wallace of Kansas; and two sisters, Audrey Faye Williams of Clarendon and Maurine Dunavan of Blackton.
Funeral services were Thursday at Lonoke Baptist Church with committal services in Shady Grove cemetery, Clarendon. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.

Charles Hughes III
Charles Alvin “Sonny” Hughes III of Little Rock, died Dec. 2, 2003.
He was an amateur inventor.
He is survived by his children, Vanessa Brown of Little Rock, Tony Hughes of Little Rock, Chuck Hughes, and Phillip Hughes of Cabot; sisters, Shirley Smith of Texas, and Betty Rone of Benton; and five grandchildren.
Funeral was Dec. 7, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, Little Rock, with interment at Heards cemetery in Bradford.
D.D. Wilford Poor
“D.D.” Wilford Allie Poor, age 57, of Almyra died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003.
He was a farmer and Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Yvonne Edwards Poor; sons, Scotty Poor and Keith Poor; three granddaughters; sisters, Hazel Young of Lonoke, Thelma Henderson and Mildred Cupples of DeWitt; brother, Calvin Hendrix of Almyra.
Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 7, at Essex Funeral Home Chapel in DeWitt with burial at Almyra cemetery.
Mae Kirkland
Mae Kirkland, age 62, of Cabot, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003.
She was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Kirkland of Searcy, and Kelly Kirkland of Cabot; two daughters, Terry Delong of Cabot and Brenda Wade of Austin; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother, Ella Walters; one brother, Bud Walters; five sisters, Mary Lester, Ann Taylor, Doris Ball, Clara Maples and Louise Lucky.
Funeral was Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at Briarwood Baptist Church, Cabot, with burial in Dunkard cemetery by Westbrook Funeral Home.
Frances E. Little
Frances E. Wahl Tibbett Little, 88, of Little Rock died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church of Cabot and former member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Jacksonville.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Tibbett of Little Rock, Don Tibbett of Heber Springs; daughter, Cecille Hughes of Jacksonville; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Monday at Memorial Park cemetery in Pine Bluff. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Helen Marie Mitchell
Helen Marie Coyle Mitchell, 63, died Dec. 5, 2003.
She is survived by daughters, Roxanne Hoggard of Memphis and Melissa Lingo of Conway; three grandchildren; three sisters, Billie Gammel, Carlisle, Geraldine Dollar, Conway, and Cynthia Taylor, Mayflower.
Graveside service was Sunday at Old Carlisle cemetery; arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Ruby Jewel Stone
Ruby Jewel Stone, age 91, died Dec. 5, 2003.
She is survived by a son, Dennis Alton Carr of Lonoke; two stepsons, J.W. Stone and Delbert Stone of Conway; sisters, Purnia Hayes and Grace Morgan of Humnoke and Wilma Ingram of Little Rock; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Sunday at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, with interment in Flynn cemetery.
Brenda Kay Hardin
Brenda Kay Hardin, 51, of Ward, died Saturday, Dec. 06, 2003.
She was an employee of Loreal USA. She attended the Austin Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Wayne Hardin of Ward; son, Douglas Wayne Hardin of Ward; daughter, Rhonda Kay Moore of Macon; brother, William Jerry Bayles of Bauxite; and one granddaughter.
Funeral will be Dec. 10, at Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Monk cemetery, Ward.
