C. Kent Guthrie
Christopher Kent Guthrie, age 38, of Cabot, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Jenna Guthrie, and a son, Kenneth Guthrie, both of the home; parents Kenneth L. and Mollye Guthrie of Palastine, Texas; three brothers: John Guthrie of Enola, Michael Guthrie of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Jeffery Guthrie of North Little Rock.
Visitation was Sunday, May 16, at the funeral home. Donations be made to the Christopher Guthrie Memorial Fund at First Arkansas Bank and Trust Cabot. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service.
Edward L. Elmore
Edward Leroy Elmore, 69 of Lonoke passed away May 12, 2004. He was born June 29, 1934 in Lonoke to Roy and Nan Elmore. He was a graduate of Little Rock University and retired from Timex Corporation after 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army and later retired from the Army National Guard, in which he served for 35 years. He was a member of Lonoke United Methodist Church.
Leroy, a devoted husband and father is survived by his wife of 44 years, Annie Lee Bryant; two daughters, Sandra Wood of North Little Rock and Kay Peterson and husband Larry of Cabot; two grandchildren, Chris and Sarah Wood, both of North Little Rock; a sister, Pat Latimer and husband John of Heber Springs and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Lawrence Wood of North Little Rock and his nephew, John M. Latimer of Heber Springs.
The family received friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke. Funeral Services were held at1:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Massie Bulluche
Funeral service for Massie Bulluche, 83, of Little Rock, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 14, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Lonoke.

Horace A. Rounsavall
Horace Andy “Bodie” Rounsavall died May 10, 2004.
He is survived by brothers, Charles Hugh Rounsavall of Lonoke and Clyde Rounsavall of Little Rock; and a sister, Katherine Rounsavall Seilheimer of Kalamazoo, Mich.
He was a WWII veteran. He served until 1945 and returned to live in Little Rock and work for Standard Oil Company.
Funeral services were May 13, at the Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen. Interment will be in the Center Point cemetery.
C. Pendergrass
Catherine (Mitchell) Pendergrass, 85, of Lonoke died May 10, 2004.
She was retired from Redmond Motor Co. and Franklin Electric Co. and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Langston of Cabot, Carolyn Jackson of North Little Rock and Shirley Cook of Lonoke; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Jimmy E. Smith
Jimmy E. Smith, 72, of Sylvania, died May 16, 2004 at his home.
He was born Nov. 16, 1931 in Des Arc, a son of the late Burrel and Edith Smith, and preceded in death by a sister, Madge Smith, and a brother, Alvin Smith.
He was a retired truck driver and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Arlene Smith; a daughter, Marieca, and husband Lee Everett; a son, Timmy Smith; five brothers, Julis Smith, J.B. Smith, Sammy Smith, Gene Smith and Gary Smith; four sisters, Lottie Stubbs, Dorothy Dube, Adele Stratton and Sharon Bass; three grandchildren, Kirk Smith, Nena and husband Keith Galloway, and Jonathan and wife Dominique Everett; three great-grandchildren, Lane Everett, Ethan Everett and Ty Galloway; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., May 23, 2004, at the Smith family farm in Butlerville.
Trula Mae Daniel
Trula Mae Grogan Daniel, 87, of Lonoke, died May 16, 2004.
She was a member of the New Testament Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Barker Maese of Eureka Springs; three sons, Allen Daniel of Hot Springs, Kenneth Daniel of Little Rock, and Larry Daniel of Bryant; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Redd of North Little Rock and Mary Williams of Deer Park, Texas.
Funeral service was May 19, at the Roller-Drummond Southwest Chapel with interment in Martin cemetery.

Anna Grace Sorrows
Anna Grace Sorrows, 2, of Searcy and formerly of Atlanta, Ga., died Friday, May 14, 2004.
Survivors are her parents, Jay Patrick and Alicia Louise Payne Sorrows; a sister, Kendall Kate Sorrows of the home; her paternal grandparents, Harvey and Tina Sorrows of Lonoke and Genevieve Sorrows of Sherwood; her maternal grandparents, Beverly Fortson of Little Rock and Donald and Sherry Payne of Wichita Falls, Texas; her great-grandparents, Margaret Jones of Waynesboro, Pa., and Lavon Yepez of Little Rock.
Funeral services were May 19 at Powell Funeral Home, Searcy, with interment in White County Memorial Gardens.
Lola Faye Sterling
Lola Faye Eddy Sterling, 70, of Jacksonville died May 14, 2004.
Survivors are her husband, Richard Sterling; a daughter, Sandra Allen of Holiday Island; a son, Keith Sterling of Benton; sisters, Lillie Riggenbach of Lowell and Freda Taylor of Little Rock; a brother, Charles Eddy of Jacksonville; and four grandchildren.

Joe Allen Williams
Joe Allen Williams, 65, of Ward died Sunday, May 16, 2004.
Survivors include a sister, Mickey Paul of Ward.
Graveside services were May 19, at Macedonia cemetery with Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, in charge of arrangements.
Gwendolyn Roberson
Gwendolyn Faye Roberson, 78, of North Little Rock, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
She is survived by her son, Jim Roberson of North Little Rock; daughter, Judy Head, of Lonoke; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren ; and two brothers, C.E. and Robert R. Hathaway of Monroe, La.
Funeral services were Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Concord cemetery, Furlow.
