Nancy Louise White
Nancy Louise White, 68, of Carlisle died Sunday, July 4, 2004.
She is survived by three grandchildren; five brothers, Jimmy Dale Thomas of Mayflower, Billy E. Thomas of Star City, James G. Thomas of North Little Rock, Coy Thomas of Biscoe, and Michael Thomas of Lonoke; and three sisters, Virginia Hall of Little Rock, Verma Guynes of Mayflower, and Margaret Roach of Shannon Hills.
Funeral services were July 9, at the First Baptist church in Biscoe. Burial was in the Peppers Lake cemetery. Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen was in charge.

Lillian Hoeftmann, 93, of Cabot, died May 23, 2004. She was a resident at Spring Creek Nursing Home

Charles R. Roach
Charles Richard Roach, 56, of Graham Texas, died May 22, 2004. Charles was born and a resident of Cabot until 1978.
Graveside services were Tuesday, May 25, 2004. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home in Graham Texas.
Charles R. Hammock
Charles “Chuck” Raymond Hammock, age 75, of Cabot, died May 22, 2004.
Chuck was in the US Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, and retired after 22 years of honorable service.
Subsequently, he retired from his hometown newspaper, the Alexandria Daily Town Talk, Alexandria, La., after 24 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeri Patton Hammock of Cabot, three children, Stephen Randall Hammock of Tyler, Texas, Frances Hammock McKenzie of Arlington, Texas, and Angela Hammock Hill of Lancaster, Texas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Cabot. Internment was at Arkansas State Veteran’s cemetery in North Little Rock. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service.
Marion E. Tolliver
Marion Edward “Gene” Tolliver, age 86, died Saturday, May 22, 2004.
He was awarded the Atlantic War Zone and Merchant Marine Decorations for service during WWII. He was cited by the Embassy of Murmansk, Russia, for humanitarian efforts to the troops and prisoners of war. He worked in construction and was a lineman for AP&L. He owned and operated an International Harvester Company farm store in Yellville and later served as the Farm Bureau Agent for Marion County. He was also a fishing guide. He was a member of the Baptist Church, the National Rifle Association, the Pulaski County Sheriff Association, and the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by former wives Aileen Tolliver of Flippin, and Frances (Plante) Tolliver of Roland; seven children, Carol Wood of Flippin, Mark Tolliver of Cabot, Jeff Tolliver of Baxley, Ga., Rebecca De-Priest of Cotter, Debi Guenther of Roland, Patricia Lehman of Wichita, Kan., and Geneanne Spann of Roland; two sisters, Maureen Horton of Sand Springs, Okla., and Winona Horton of Mountain View; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were by Huson Funeral Home, Sherwood. Graveside services were May 26 at the Arkansas State Veterans cemetery on Maryland Avenue in North Little Rock.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice Inc., 5600 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72204, to a charity of your choice, or to the scholarship fund established at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
J.L. Cates
J.L. (Chaney) Cates died May 23rd, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Maydell Cates; and seven children, Patricia Bone of Cabot, Sue Weatherford of Redfield, Randy Cates of England, Pam Mitchell of Carlisle, Rebecca Ethridge of North Little Rock, Gaylon Quintanilla of England, Kim Cates of Mablevale; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral was May 26, at Trinity Tabernacle Church. Roller England Funeral Home was in charge. Burial was in Union Valley cemetery.
L.E. Williams
L.E. Williams, 85, of North Little Rock, died Thursday, May 20, 2004.
He was a charter member and deacon of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and was a United States Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was also a livestock dealer for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Robbie Williams; son, Steve Williams of McRae; two granddaughters; two great-grandsons; four sisters, Veta Smith of Miles, Michigan, Anna Lee Thacker of Lakeville, Ind., Ernestine Slade of Evening Shade and Betty Fran Weaver of Cave City; three brothers, Buryine Williams of Selmar, Calif., Tillman Williams of Sidney and Bill Williams of Evening Shade.
Graveside services were Saturday at Arkansas Memorial Gardens with arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Bruce Robertson, 50, of Cabot, formerly of West Helena, was Saturday at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
He leaves his wife, Stephanie; and sons, Jake and Chris Robertson of Cabot; parents, J.W. and Betty Robertson; and brothers, Jerry and Keith Robertson all of West Helena.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home was in charge.
Erma Faye Oates
Erma Faye Oates, 73, of North Little Rock, died May 22, 2004.
She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Everett G. Oates; sister, Martha Johnson of Des Arc; two sons, Gordy of Lonoke and Barry from North Little Rock; and four grandchildren.
