Martha Ann Perry
Martha Ann Perry, age 74, of Rogers, formerly of Jacksonville, and North Little Rock, died Sunday, June 1, 2003.
Survivors include one son, David Cole Perry of Cabot; one daughter, Dana Carol Lindsey of Rogers; one brother, John Norman Lester of Walnut Creek Calif.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 5, at 1 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park cemetery.
Thelma Glover Gibson
Thelma Glover Gibson, age 89, of Little Rock, died Monday, May 26, 2003.
She was born in Lonoke. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and was a retired line supervisor with Timex Corporation.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Presley Gibson; her daughter, Martha Mason of Mayflower; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grand-children ; and three great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service was May 29 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with interment in Mount Carmel cemetery at Cabot.

Geraldine J. Fewell
Geraldine Johnson Fewell, age 83, died Monday, May 26, 2003.
She was born in Lonoke. During World War II, she worked in Jacksonville making munitions for the war effort. She worked at Arkansas Baptist Hospital from 1956 to 1965 and was honored as the hospital’s Employee of the Year in 1960. She later served as a volunteer at Memorial Hospital, where she was honored for her service.
She is survived by her son, Gary Johnson; two grandchildren; a brother, Rev. Rodney Shaw of Washington, D.C.
She was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.
Funeral services were Thursday at Roller-Owens Chapel. Interment was in Edgewood Memorial Park.
Alliene W. Derrick
Alliene Weems Derrick, 80, of Cabot died Tuesday, May 27, 2003.
She is survived by her son, Woody Derrick of Cabot; two daughters, Teresa Laxfoss of Alaska and Brenda Caldwell of Jacksonville; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside service was Thursday at Rest Hills Memorial Park Gazebo. North Little Rock Funeral Home was in charge.
Hersil O. Hamby
Hersil O. Hamby, 80, died May 27, 2003.
Having served his country in World War II with the United States Navy, he ended his professional career with Holt White Sales and Service.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Jane Hamby; daughters, Wanda Sue Ford and Dana Elise Chaney; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sisters, Bernice Tomboken and Joyce Seyroce.
Private interment was in Mayflower cemetery.
William Asbille
William “Bill” Parker Asbille, died May 26, 2003.
He was a service writer for the City of Little Rock.
He is survived by his father, Robert Asbille and mother, Abbie Hammon Asbille of Lonoke; a sister, Marinell Gillette of Alexander; one brother, David Green of Cabot; foster brothers, Rodney Thompson and Rick Nickles.
Graveside service was May 30, in Augusta cemetery, with arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
William C. Dye
William C. Dye, of Lonoke, died May 26, 2003.
He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and retired from the United States Air Force as SMSgt after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Concord Methodist Church in Furlow and the Jacinto Lodge in Jacksonville.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; four daughters, two sons, 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services were May 30, at the Concord Methodist Church followed by interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville.

Adrian Denard Jones, 20, Louis Reed Jr., 40, and Louis Reed III, 8, all of Sikeston, Mo., died Thursday, May 22, 2003, following an automobile accident in Lonoke County.
Funeral service was Friday, May 30, at Progressive Church in Scott. Burial was in Tomberlin cemetery. Services Entrusted to Derrick Gunn Funeral Home.
Richard V. Stauffer
Richard Vernon Stauffer, age 76, of Sherwood, died May 28, 2003.
He was a retired Regional Purchasing Agent for Union Pacific. He served as a Marine in the Military.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Thomasene Scott Stauffer; a daughter, Karen Wheeler of Russellville; two grandsons; a brother, Willard Stauffer of Ft. Smith; three sisters, Sarah Dickerson of Lonoke, Snooks Tibbs and Tootsie Dempsey both of Gurdon.
Funeral services were Saturday, at the First Baptist Church with burial in Decipher cemetery.
