Jerry Eugene Nance
Jerry Eugene Nance, 67, of Ward, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004. He was a retired truck driver for Safeway and Harvest Foods.
He is survived by wife, Ann Nance; his mother, Dorothy Nance of Ward; two daughters, Robyn Elizabeth Tarry and Kiersten Raven Nance; one sister, Mabel Ward of Ward; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Cremation arrangements by Westbrook.
Nola Mae Bone
Nola Mae Oaks Sherry Bone, 62, of Cabot, died May 7, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. Nola was born Aug. 13, 1941, to Homer L. and Wilma E. Oaks (both deceased) of Bigelow.
Survived by her husband, William Bone of Cabot; two sons, Kenneth White Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Conway, Paul White of East End; seven grandchildren, Sarah Ruckle and Amy Poye, both of North Little Rock, April Thompson of Beebe, Leon, Alvin and Brandon White, all of East End, and Ron White of San Antonio, Texas.
Nola donated her body to Science Care(anatomical) of Phoenix, Ariz., for study and use for science. Nola’s body was cremated. Private gathering of family was held.
Clara Belle Garringer
Clara Belle (Moody) Garringer, 77, of Lonoke, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004. She was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle of Lonoke.
She is survived by her five sons, Paul Garringer of Benton, Gilbert, Richard, David, B.J. Garringer; two daughters, Ann McGowan and Lavonne Dodge, all of Lonoke; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Wesley Moody; sister, Lear Mae Moody.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Lighthouse Taernacle with Rev. Ron Denton, Rev. Ham Bradford and Rev. Marvin Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Concord cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Virginia Glass
Mrs. Virginia Glass, 78, of Cabot, Arkansas, died Friday, June 18, 2004, at Rebsamen Memorial hospital. Mrs. Glass was born May 19, 1926 in Lafayette, Indiana, a daughter of the late Charles and Nevada (Fultz) Sandefur. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, William P. “Jack” Glass.
She was retired director of Rainbow Bright Day Care in Jacksonville. She had also owned several restaurants in the Chicago area. She was a Christian, and had attended many different churches.
Mrs. Glass’ family remembers her as one who loved her children and family and loved attending family activities; Sunday afternoon drives and spent her life taking care of other people. She also is remembered as a lover of animals.
She leaves to cherish these and many more wonderful memories, her children, Neta O’Neal of Batesville, Arkansas; Skip Muszynski of Little Rock; Jimmy Baldwin of Cabot; her grandchildren, Cheryl Lacy of Batesville, Arkansas; James Muszynski of Little Rock; Jamie Muszynski of Cabot; Latosha Muszynski of Little Rock; the light of her life, her great-grand-daughter, Crystal Lacy of Batesville; as well as several brothers and sisters and a number of nephews and nieces.
The family received friends between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., on Tuesday, June 22. Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23 in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, NLR, (501) 835-3515 with Bro. Tom Hefner officiating.
Entombment followed in the Rest Hills Mausoleum. Pallbearers were Paul Holt, James Muszynski, Jessie Schultz, Michael Joe Hensley, Tony Hefiner, Jr. and Johnny Sanders.
Jimmy L. Jones
Jimmy Loran Jones, 66, of Cabot, passed away June 20, 2004. He was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Ingram and his father, Clarence Jones. He is survived by his wife, Valinda Jones; daughters, Lisa and Carrie Jones; sisters, Sharon and David Carpenter, and Gail Steward; two brothers, Bobby and Lil Jones, Freddie and Peggy Jones.
The family received friends, Tuesday, June 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cabot Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 23, at 10 a.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church with Brother Dave Reddick and Brother Harold O’Bryan officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Cabot.

Richard Gary Payne
Richard Gary Payne, 57, passed away June 18, 2004.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Payne and Goldie Duree. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Payne; son, Richard II and Valarie Payne of Cabot; daughter, Richelle and Derek Rice of Cabot; sisters, Barbara Brady and Louise Whittington, both of MO; brothers; Donald Spitzmiller of St. Louis, MO; William Payne, of MO; Robert Payne of MO; grandchildren; Joseph Payne, Austin Payne, Nathan Rice, Madison Rice and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 22 at the Cabot Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 23 at McArthur Assembly of God Church in Jacksonville. Troy A. Perryman
Troy A. Perryman (Paw), 84, went to be with the Lord June 20, 2004, at Baptist Health Medical Center, North Little Rock.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A.W. and Valentine (Moran) Perryman ; a grandson, Alan Perryman; brother, James Perryman; sisters, Orean Garner, Mary Powell, Flora Lopez and Bessie Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae (Cook) Perryman; sons Robert (Teresa), Troy L. (Cyndi); and daughter, Marilyn Horne; grandchildren, Terry, Tracy, Shari, Dana, Krissy and Daniel; step-grandson, Brian (Tracy); great-grandchildren, Kayla, Andy, Evan, Abby, Ashton and Hunter; sisters, Margaret Tenison, Nadine Howard, Veta Mae Howard, Blossom Stanford, and many nieces and nephews.
He was a retired self-employed truck driver, a member of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church, Lonoke, and a 32nd degree Master Mason.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 22 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, Ark. Services were officiated by Reverends Bill Pearson and Doug Hambrick. Interment in Oak Grove cemetery, Austin, Ark.

Viola Ward Reynolds
Viola Delona Ward Reynolds, 85, of Little Rock died June 20, 2004.
She is survived by her sister, Cleo Bynum of Cabot.
Graveside service was Tuesday at Mayflower cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Karen Kaye Little
Karen Kaye Little, of Des Arc, died June 20, 2004.
Survivors are her husband, Tommy Gene Little of Des Arc; one daughter, Julie Kaye Little of Des Arc; one brother, John A. Phillips of Witter; 3 sisters, Sheila L. Harrison of England, Judy Phillips of Ward, and Regina Harrison of Scott.
Funeral service was Tuesday, June 22, at Roller-England Funeral Home, England. Burial was at Mulberry cemetery in England.
William Tilghman
William “Bill” Tilghman, 80, was born October 20, 1924, in Hamilton, Ark.
He is survived by three children, Kenneth Tilghman of Clarksville, Tenn., Robert Tilghman of Azle, Texas, and Diane Owens of Lonoke; one sister, Jennie Crouch, Wynne; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
He was an Air Force veteran and was awarded the Citation and Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service while assigned as a B-58 crew chief, 43rd Organizational Maintenance Squadron, 43rd Bombardment wing at Carswell Air Force Base, Ft. Worth, Texas, from Nov. 15, 1959, until March 31, 1964. Mr. Tilghman was a resident of Lonoke for 29 years and an active member of American Legion Post 200.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel in Lonoke, with interment at Brownsville cemetery.
