Ruth Finley Haag
Ruth Finley Haag, 87, of North Little Rock died April 9, 2004.
She was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church and was an employee of Dr. Amil Chupy for several years.
She is survived by three sons - Don Finley of Stockbridge, Ga., John Haag of Maumelle, and Jim Haag of Higden; two daughters - Lucy York Parsley and Carol Ann Hunter of Midland, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 5600 West 12th, Little Rock, Ark. 72204.
Funeral services were Wednesday at North Little Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Glover cemetery, Cabot.
Kraig Cook
Kraig Martin Cook died Saturday, July 11.
He is survived by four children, Maria Cook Casler and husband Chris, Krystal Cook, David Cook and Klayton Cook and one grandchild, Elizabeth Casler; his parents, Howard and Hellen Cook of Buckner, and siblings Michael Cook and wife Teresa, Terri Cook Weber and husband Ronald, and Darolyn Cook Fagg and husband Brian.
Services will be held Thursday, July 16 at 2 p.m. at DW Newcomers at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. in Raytown, Mo.
Burial will be in the Buckner Hills cemetery.

Marie Carroll
Marie H. Carroll, 89, of Cabot died Wednesday, July 8, 2009.
She was born to Jethro and Ora Bell Harrell on Jan. 24, 1920 in Floyd where she attended school as well.
She was a seamstress, retiring after 25 years of service with Kellwood.
She enjoyed tending to her flowers and house plants and spending time with her grandchildren.
She attended the Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Floyd Leonard Carroll; five sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include two sons, George Kender Carroll and wife Gail of Bella Vista and Floyd Kenneth Carroll and wife LaVerne of Cabot; a daughter, Linda Kay Nolen and husband Tim of Northport, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Chapel with burial in Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Bernice Sweatman
Bernice Starkey Sweatman, 95, of North Little Rock passed away Monday July 6, 2009.
She was a lifelong member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church.
She retired after 27 years with the North Little Rock School District.
She is survived by two daughters, Alice Levins and husband Robert of Beebe and Linda Privett and husband Thomas of Lonoke; four grandchildren, Lisa Privett, Tracy Canning, Lara Boyce and Katie Freeman; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, J. W. Starkey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lou Sweatman; a grandson, Joey Privett; two brothers and five sisters.
The funeral was Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock. Burial was in Edgewood Memorial Park.
Arrangements were by Roller-Owens Funeral Home.

James Garrard
James E. Garrard, 46, died July 7, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hill Garrard; his parents, Bernis and Hazel Garrard; three sisters, Mirlon Price, Marie Tyus and Barbara Garrison, all of Mississippi, three stepchildren, Jason Bagwell, Heidi Bagwell and Aaron Bagwell, and three step-grandchildren, Gage Bagwell, Bethany Bagwell and Payton Finch.
A memorial service was held at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, Thursday, July 9.
Jason Yielding
Jason Charles Yielding, 34, of Ward died on Sunday, July 12, 2009.
He was born February 10, 1975 to Charles Eugene Yielding and Martha Sue Todd-Yielding.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Todd Yielding; and grandparents W.C. and Louise Yielding and George Todd.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Suzy Yielding of Ward; one brother, David Yielding of Conway; and a niece, Ryan Wolfram of Cabot.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Cabot United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Cabot United Methodist with Steven Coburn and Richard Lancaster officiating.
Burial will immediately follow in Mount Carmel cemetery in Cabot.
Arrangements are by Thomas Funeral Service of Cabot.
Raymond Murray
Raymond Robert Murray Jr., 73, of Carlisle died July 13, 2009. He was born Jan. 1, 1936,
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ida Moody Murray; an uncle and aunt, Cleo and Martha Scott; and a grandson, Ben Patterson.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Gipson Murray; children, Kim Patterson and husband Bill of Conway, Sharon Bussard and husband Brian of Cabot and Phillip Murray and wife Dana of Lonoke; seven grandchildren, Will Patterson, Jacob and Bo Tidwell, Drew and Graceon Trickey, Hannah and Zack Murray, and two step-grandchildren, Meagan and Logan Bussard.
He lived his life in Carlisle where he had engaged in farming.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Carlisle where he had previously served as a deacon.
He spent many years involved in the Carlisle school system where he served as past school board member and president.
The family will receive friends today, July 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke.
The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Carlisle with burial in Carlisle cemetery.
