Christian S. L. Verkler
Christian Simon Lee Verkler “Sugarbooger” of Cabot, born on March 10, 1999, died March 16, 2004.
He is survived by his mother, Crystal Johnson, and one sister, Harley Johnson, both of Cabot; grandparents, Claudio and Brenda Garcia of Texarkana; and five great-grandparents.
A memorial service was held March 19, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, Little Rock.

Miles Tippitt
Miles “Tip” Tippitt, of Cabot, died Sunday, March 14, 2004.
He was a member of the Merchant Marines during World War II and retired from Bancroft Cap Company of Cabot.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lucille Hudson Tippitt; daughter, Connie Weis of Sheridan; three grandchildren; sisters, Nadine Tippitt Gassaway of Lonoke and Clara Lou Price of Benton.

Gary LeMaster
Gary Wayne LeMaster, 51, of Lonoke, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007. He was born Jan. 16, 1956 in Ohio to Hubert & Mary LeMaster.
He is survived by his wife Dianne LeMaster of Beebe; two sons, Justin & wife Samantha LeMaster of Beebe and G.W. & wife Krista of Ohio; two daughters, Samantha LeMaster & Crystal LeMaster of Ohio; four brothers: Roger, James, Randy & Michael LeMaster; one sister Pat Risner; three grandchildren: McKenna, Elizabeth and Issiah; along with many other family members and friends.

Raymond Dussex
Raymond Charles Dussex, 46, of Cabot died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; two stepsons, Paul and Whit Simpkins of Cabot; mother and step-father, Bobbie and Don Hindman of Sherwood; brother, Paul Dussex and Rhoda of Sherwood; nephews and nieces, Matthew, Andrew, Tony, Katherine and Sarah.
Mass of the Christian Burial was held Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.

Ben Holtrop
Ben Holtrop, 84, of Austin died Tuesday Feb. 13, 2007.
He was employed with the City of Cabot at retirement and was a Baptist. Ben is survived by his son, James Holtrop of Cabot; and Brother Bill Holtrop of Austin.
Graveside services were Friday at Mt. Springs cemetery with Brother Ver Haymes officiating.
Charles F. Waller
Charles F. Waller, 82, of Jacksonville died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007. He was born on July 9, 1924 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Marshall and Cinna McPherson Waller. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Cochran, daughter-in-law, Debbie Waller, six brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Cleo Waller; daughter, Cinna Peterson and husband Roger of Cabot; son, William (Bill) Waller of Cabot; one sister, Trula , son-in-law Tony Cochran, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass was Thursday at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville with Father Les Farley officiating.

Michael Kostboth, Sr.
Michael Joseph Kostboth, Sr., 70, of Ward died Feb. 13, 2007. He was born Nov. 26, 1936 in New York.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Michael Joseph Kostboth, Jr. & Kelly of Ward; one daughter Rita Hubbard of Texas; and two grandchildren, Devin and Haley Kostboth.

Herman McKelby
Herman McKelby, 85, of Prescott died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007.
Survivors include a son, Ronald M. McKelby of Bluff City; daughter, Judy Phelps of Cabot; sister, Aline Claus of Prescott and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Bluff City Baptist Church under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home.
Oney D. Randof
Oney Dealey Randof, 72, of Cabot died after a five-year battle with cancer.
She was born on Aug. 20, 1934 in Wynnewood, Okla. to the late Jesse and Addie Brooks Marchbanks.
Randof is survived by children, Joyce Randof of Jacksonville, Robert Randof of Roanoke, Virginia, Carla Armstrong of Copperas Cove, Texas and David Randof of Cabot; one sister, Tilda Zdun of Belville, Michigan; grandchildren, Pamela Randof of Maumelle, Bruce Mathis of Copperas Cove, Texas, Kelli Shukait of Etowah, Tenn. and Dawson Randof of Cabot; one great-grandchild, Alyssa Shukait and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were Sunday at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roland Spears officiating.

Mildred Schubert
Mildred Faye Sorey Schubert, 74, of Little Rock died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otis R. Jackson and Clarenda Rhea Ramsey Jackson; husband Homer H. Sorey; and brothers Bobby Jackson and Pete Jackson.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Keever and R.D. of Cabot, Debra Attaway and husband Francis of Jasper; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; sister Laverne Fry and husband Larry of Hahira, Ga.; and brother David Jackson of Texas.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
A graveside service were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Little Rock National cemetery.
Arrangements were by Roller-Drummond Funeral Home.
