Marcia D. Warren
Marcia Dianne Warren, 52, of North Little Rock died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007. She was born Feb. 15, 1954 in Joplin, Missouri to Olen Lee Ayers and the late Joanne Ellis-Ayers.
She is survived by one daughter, Christina Dianne Hixon of Long Beach, California; two sons Larry “Wayne” Ausbrooks of Alto Loma, California and Jody Lee Ausbrooks of North Little Rock; father, Olen Lee Ayers of Nixa, Missouri; one sister Kay Pagan of Ozark, Missouri; two brothers, Ellis Ayers of Nixa, Missouri and George Ayers of Santa Monica, California; four grandchildren: Sierra Elizabeth Morrison, Adam Hixon, Ryan Hixon and Sophia Ausbrooks.
Funeral Services were Friday at Morgan Full Gospel Church in North Little Rock with Rev. Bob Wickliffe officiating. Interment will be at Palestine cemetery. Arrangement by Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot.
Jerry L. Gillis
Jerry Lynn Gillis, 65, of Sheridan died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007 at his home. He was born May 6, 1941 in Sheridan, the son of the late Carthel and Edith Mooney Gillis.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dottye Gillis; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pam Gillis of Sheridan, Dana and Robbie Johnson of Cabot; three grandchildren, Casey Johnson, Delaina Johnson, Christianna Johnson; two great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Kay Gillis, Ronnie and Jane Gillis; aunt and uncle, Jewel and Oakley Butler.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at Buie Funeral Chapel in Sheridan with Brother Tim McMinn officiating. Burial will follow at Salem cemetery in East End. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan. (870) 942-3231.
Arliss Fitzgerald
Arliss Ann Fitzgerald, 63, of Jacksonville died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007. She was Pentecostal.
She was preceded in death by her parents Granvile and Pamelia Sullivan Fulmer, and husband Roy Fitzgerald.
Survivors include her son Dr. Terry Peery and wife Jackie of Cabot; daughter Teresa Brewer Christy and husband Keith; son James Brewer and wife Kathy both of Jacksonville; brothers Bobby Fulmer of Bentonville, and Granvile Fulmer Jr. of Cabot; sisters Jean Gordon of North Little Rock, Donna Fulmer of Jacksonville, Gloria Lopez of Little Rock, and Debbie Fulmer of Jacksonville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 14, at the Lonoke Apostolic Church with Rev. Donald Sjostrand officiating. Interment followed in the Lonoke cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Mary L. Tanner
Mary LaVern Tanner, 65, of Memphis, Tenn., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007. She was a graduate of Lake Side High School in Lake Village.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Lilah Paige Tanner, formerly of Carlisle; grandparents Willis Paige of Wisconsin and Susie Bliss Dillman Paige Strain of Carlisle and John and Lorena Carter Tanner of Carlisle; and one nephew Teddy Standridge of Hazen.
She is survived by her sisters Sharon Tanner of Collierville, Tenn., and Patricia Standridge of Hazen.
Graveside services were held Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Carlisle cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen.
Douglas Osborne
Douglas Ray Osborne, 45, of Jacksonville died Thursday Feb. 15, 2007. After graduating high school, Douglas served in the United States Coast Guard and worked for UPS for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his father Ray Melton Osborne.
He is survived by his children Stacie Elizabeth Osborne and Douglas Ray Osborne II both of Jacksonville; sister Kimberlye Osborne of Jacksonville; brothers Kirk Osborne and wife Debbie of Jacksonville, and Paul Osborne and wife Stephanie of Cabot; mother Billie and stepfather David Yarbrough of Jacksonville; and stepmother Linda Osborne of Cabot.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 17, at Zion Hill Baptist Church inCabot, with Terry Fortner officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Hill Baptist Church Youth Fund.
Arrangements were by Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock.
Richard Lumpkins
Rev. Richard Lynn Lumpkins, 57, of Hot Springs Village died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007. He was a minister and Sunday school director for the Arkansas District United Pentecostals Church. He was currently serving as an Arkansas State Police Chaplain and a past chaplain of the Saline County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Benton Police Department. He was also a veteran of the Arkansas Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his father James Garland Lumpkins.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Dianne Murrell Lumpkins; son Jason Lumpkins and wife Courtney of Cabot; daughter Wendy Graves and husband Kevin, of Gainesville, Texas; four grandchildren; mother Margaret Lumpkins of Benton; and brother Jim Lumpkins and wife Marcy, of Benton.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 16, at First Pentecostals Church of Benton with Rev. B.J. Thomas officiating. Interment followed at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.

Margaret Lovell
Margaret D. Lovell of Cabot died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of North Little Rock and a volunteer for 30 years a Baptist Memorial.
She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Lovell Sr., and sister Mildred Douglas.
Survivors include her son James A. Lovell, Jr., and wife Bobbie of Cabot; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.

Wilma J. Winn
Wilma Jean Winn, 71, of Clinton, formerly of Ward died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007. She was a retired factory worker, homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband Billy Joe Winn of the home; son Larry Joe Winn; daughter Linda Hendrickson both of Ward; brother Billy Davis of Heber Springs; sisters Deffie Morgan of Beebe and Jessie Combs of Stockton, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 19, at Roller McNutt chapel in Clinton with interment in Huie cemetery with Larry D. White officiating.
Arrangements were by Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton.
Geneva K. Parr
Geneva Kirkemier Parr of Hazen, 85, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007. She was was a member of the Peppers Lake Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years James Willie Parr.
Survivors include her children James Parr and wife Betty, Evelyn Dunn, and Lee Morden all of DeValls Bluff, Steve Parr and wife Cindy of Carlisle, and Elbert and Pat Shadle, Roy and Frances Rose, and James and Janet Swindle all of Hazen; sister Ida Lee Paladino of Conway; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 18, at the Peppers Lake Church of Christ with burial in the Peppers Lake cemetery.
