Clarence A. Rush Sr., 82, of Cabot died Feb. 20, 2001.
Survivors include a daughter, Glora A. Baker of Lumberbport, W.V.; a son, Robert Rush of Cabot; a brother, Homer Rush of W. Virginia; a sister, Doty Barrett of Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral was held at Christ Worship Center in Cabot, with burial in Mt. Pleasant cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Lucille Marie Walker
Lucille Marie Walker, 66, of Cabot died Feb. 19, 2001.
Survivors include five children; a brother; two sisters; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Feb. 20 at Mt. Carmel cemetery by Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
Shirley Ann Ward
Shirley Ann Ward, 65, of Ward died Feb. 23, 2001.
She was a teacher’s aide.
Survivors include sons, Lee Ward of Cabot, Cory Ward of Bryant, Jeff Ward of Wilmington, Del., Scott Ward and Robert Hill, both of Grady; two daughters, Stacy Gavito of Ward and Missty Ward of Newport; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral was Wednesday at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Ryan officiating. Burial was in Bayou Meto cemetery.
Elsie Mae Ingle
Elsie Mae Ingle, 91, of Carlisle, died Saturday, March 10, 2001.
Survivors include seven sons, Glen Ingle, Troy Ingle, Bud Ingle, Wayne Ingle and Billy Joe Ingle, all of Carlisle, Alvin Ingle of Lonoke and Leroy Ingle of Conway; five daughters, Tressie Leker, Evelyn Ward, Rachel Hester and Margie Walker, all of Carlisle, and Sue Bates of Alexander; two sisters, Alma Robinson and Virgie Cox, both of Texas; 31 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 13 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel in Lonoke, with interment at Center Point cemetery.
Ruth Urton
Ruth Warbritton Urton, 80, of Forrest City, formerly of Carlisle, died Tuesday, March 6. She was a retired teacher and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Urton; two sons, Daniel Urton and Samuel Britton Urton; one daughter, Victoria Urton Harris; one sister, Nell W. Graddy; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 8 at First Baptist Church in Forrest City. Burial was in Forrest Park cemetery by Stevens Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Corinne Hodges Mission Fund.
Ruth McBurnett
Funeral service for Ruth McBurnett, 73, of Dallas, formerly of Carlisle, were Thursday, Feb. 22, at Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service was Feb. 23 at Carlisle cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, William T. McBurnett; sons, Stuart McBurnett, Tommy McBurnett and Stanley McBurnett; daughter, Rita Nieve; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Betty Ruth Price
Betty Ruth Price, 59, of North Little Rock died Wednesday, March 7, 2001.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Price; one son, Ricky Price of North Little Rock; three daughters, Felice Nordstrom, Belinda Foreman and Dinah Sloan all of Jacksonville; three brothers, Delbert Wilson of Jacksonville, Doug Wilson of Lonoke and Craig Wilson of Cabot; three sisters, Clyde Etta Bell of Jacksonville, Janice Lyttle of Virginia, and Sheila Reeves of Vilonia; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Saturday at the Life Tabernacle Church in Macon, Ark., by Bro. George Mutton. Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home was in charge.
Thomas Cooper Sr.
Thomas A. Cooper Sr., 58, of North Little Rock, formerly of Lonoke, died March 8, 2001.
A private funeral was held.
Samuel Bunton
Samuel Earl Bunton, 54, of Lonoke, died March 8, 2001.
Survivors are his son, Samuel Antonio C. Bunton of Tuskegee, Ala.; three brothers, Frank T. Bunton Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Cordell Bunton of Stockton, Calif., Roderick L. Bunton of North Little Rock; five sisters, Morrisce Dockett of Thomasville, Ga., Evon L. Harris of Kansas City, Mo., Janice S. Yancy of Lonoke, Claudette Grayson of Little Rock, Laureen Williams of Atlanta, Ga.
Samuel was a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.
Services were Wednesday at St. John Baptist Church with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Bettelyn Ellis
Bettelyn Cole Ellis, 66, of North Little Rock died March 8, 2001.
Survivors include her children, Michael D. Ellis of Lonoke, Caryn Southerland, Laura Lee Rainbolt and Dru L. Ellis, all of Conway; four grandchildren; brothers, Billy Jon Cole and Jerry M. Cole; sisters, Carolyn Hardie and Annette Watson.
A private burial was held in the Lonoke cemetery. A memorial was held March 10 at the Lonoke Presbyterian Church, with Boyd Funeral Home in charge.
Memorials may be made to the Lonoke Presbyterian Church or Baptist Hospice Association.
Montine Munnerlyn
Chloe Montine Munnerlyn, 75, of Lonoke died March 9, 2001.
She was a member of the Lonoke Baptist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #421, and retired secretary of Arkansas Soil Conservation Service.
Survivors include her husband, Jay B. Munnerlyn of Lonoke; daughters, Chloe Ann Wilson of Lonoke and Jayne Spears of Beebe; a sister, Catherine Robinson of Corning; and a grandson.
Funeral was Monday at the Lonoke Baptist Church, with burial in Lonoke cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Memorials may be made to the Lonoke Baptist Church, 406 W. Front, Lonoke.
