Kenneth Becker
Kenneth “Ken” Lasswell Becker, 55, of Cabot, died June 14, 2006.
He was a funeral director/embalmer and a member of American Legion Post #41 and Twin City Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Becker; son, Raymond Becker; and daughter, Pam Elrod all of Cabot; and three grandchildren.
A private funeral service was held and interment was in Sunset Memorial Park.
Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements were by Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena.
Pat Johnson
Pat Johnson, 60, of Sherwood, died June 18, 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Boyd Johnson; brother, Hubert Evans of Lonoke; and sisters, Mildred Berry of Sherwood, Kaye Donham of Benton and Faye Hubbard of Sherwood.
Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 515 Sherwood Ave. in Sherwood, with burial in Old Austin cemetery.

Allie Bell Fugatt
Allie Bell (Estes) Fugatt, 84, of Cabot, died June 18, 2006. She was retired from Pulaski County Special School District in food service and was of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by her sons, Terry Fugatt of Phoenix, Ariz., Ricky Fugatt of North Little Rock, Jeff Junior Fugatt of Lonoke, Gene Fugatt of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Dean Fugatt of Mountain Home; daughters Kay Collins and Connie Adams, both of Jacksonville, Kathy Arnold of Augusta, Ga., Stella Russell of Lonoke, Rosalee Vaughn, of Michigan, and Dorothy Smith of Missouri; sister Mildred Hayes of Jacksonville; 32 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.

Jewell Gladys Larson
Jewell Gladys Larson, 86, of Lonoke, died June 18, 2006. She was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, a retired secretary and a graduate of Lonoke High School and Draughon’s School of Business.
She is survived by her son, James P. Larson; sister Minnie Moon of North Little Rock; two grandsons and two step-grandsons.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 22, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 JFK Blvd. in North Little Rock, and will be officiated by Pastor Craig Loibner. Interment will follow at Concord cemetery in Lonoke.
The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.
Nora Lee Gordon
Nora Lee Gordon, 84, of Cabot died Thursday, June 1, 2006. She was a member of New Hope Tabernacle in Austin.
She is survived by two nieces; four great nephews and nieces.
A graveside was held Saturday at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Gary L. Boyles
Gary L. Boyles, age 55 of Lonoke, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 1, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 23, 1951 in Little Rock. Gary was a dedicated employee of Remington Arms Inc. in Lonoke for 34 years where he worked his way up to shift supervisor. He was a proud graduate of Lonoke High School and a dedicated Jackrabbit. He played on the 1969 state champions in baseball and basketball and was captain of the undefeated Jackrabbit football team. Gary also ran track, played in the band and was president of his class. Gary would say, “The way of a leader is long and hard.” Gary attended Arkansas Tech where he played football before starting his career at Remington Arms Inc. Gary was a member of the Masonic Lodge #51 in Lonoke and Lonoke First United Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to have a large time with friends. Most of all Gary was a devoted husband, a loving father and proud son. Gary was a team player and loved by all.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jimmie Cheek Boyles; his daughter, Tammy Rowe of Sherwood; one son Matt Boyles, daughter-in-law Janette, and a grandson to be of Lonoke; his parents, Pete W. and Regina Boyles of Lonoke; brothers, Harrell (Renee) Boyles of Bryant and Brad (Debbie) Boyles of Arlington, Texas; sisters, Tanya (Ted) Hensley and Tina Boyles of Lonoke and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4 at Lonoke First United Methodist Church, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke . Burial followed in Concord cemetery. The family received friends 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lonoke First United Methodist Church.
Essie Henry
Essie Henry, 90, of Leslie, passed away on May 29, 2006 in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born on December 04, 1915 in Leslie, to the late Clarence and Mary (Haggard) Davis. She was a retired nurse and attended New Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons: Bill Henry of Dennard, Arkansas, and S.D. “Pete” Henry of Cabot, Arkansas. One daughter: Blanche Phillips of Leslie, Arkansas.
Five grandchildren: Pam Sowell of Cabot, Arkansas, Jody Stewart of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Bill Henry of Nashville, Tennessee, Vickie Nolan of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jim Henry of Dennard, Arkansas. Two step-grandchildren: Mickey Guerrier and Gladmeir Guerrier both of Cabot, Arkansas. Seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, June 01, 2006, 2:00 pm at Roller Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Wylie Hardin officiating. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the chapel.
Burial was in the Sulphur Springs cemetery under the direction of Roller Coffman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Larry Newland, Lester Newland, Ben Paton, Jody Stewart, Allen Sowell, and Jim Henry.
Marcia J. Cheatham
Marcia Jean Cheatham, age 60, of Scott, died May 26, 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Hughes of Keo and James Cheatham of Carlisle; one daughter, Lisa Goodman of Scott; two brothers, James Overton of Beebe and Boyd Overton of Paragould; five grandchildren; two uncles, Charles Ouzts and Floyd S. Hines, Sr.
Services were held Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Toltec Baptist Church in Scott with Bro. Ron Pierce officiating. Interment followed at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot.
Danny Morris
Danny O’Neal (Boone) Morris, age 60,died May 29, 2006.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Rebecca; two sons, Donny Morris and Michael Morris of Lonoke; a daughter, Daniela Tamayo of Texas; three brothers, Bill Derden of Hot Springs, Gene Morris of Lonoke and Kenneth Morris of Scott.
Funeral services were Thursday, June 1 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
