Mitchell Alan Smith
Mitchell Alan Smith, age 38, of Lonoke, died May 27, 2006.
He is survived by: mother and stepfather Mary Jane and Dennis Bayles of Lonoke; father Marvin Smith of San Antonio, Texas; five children: Mitchell, Jane, Traci, Anthony and Russell; brother Michael Smith of Minnesota.
Graveside services were held Friday, June 2, 2006 at Monk cemetery in Ward. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot.
Donnie C. Watson
Donnie Cleveland Watson, age 45, of Cabot, died Monday, May 29, 2006.
Survivors include: wife Donna; daughter Ashley; two sons Adam Watson of Cabot, and Eric Jones of Fayetteville; his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Charlie Wingate of Cabot; sister Phyllis Henry of Searcy; brother Steve Watson of Romance, and two stepbrothers, Tommy and Richard Wingate of Cabot.
Services were held Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Christ Worship Center with interment following at Romance cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot.
Eugene Ray Wilson
Eugene Ray Wilson, age 78, died June 1, 2006.
He is survived by his wife Avis Wilson; one son, Virgil Wilson and wife Shanyn of Lonoke; three grandchildren, Nickole, Morgan and Kolbe; two brothers, Louis Wilson of Little Rock and Tommy Wilson of Alexander; two sisters, Dorothy Bayles of Missouri and Doris Tackett of Aubrey.
Funeral services were Monday, June 5 at Humnoke Pentecostal Church of God with interment in Biscoe cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Helen L. Garner
Helen Louise Garner, age 63, died May 31, 2006. She is survived by her husband Ricky Lee Garner; children, Dewayne Haynes of Illinois and Tina Warsa of Arizona; four grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Mixon of Illinois; a sister, Marie Wilson of Pocahontas and many other relatives.
Graveside services were Saturday at Highland cemetery, Highland with arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Clara Horton Bailey
Clara Bettie Horton Bailey, 89, of Little Rock, died May 29, 2006.
She graduated from Des Arc High School with honors. She served as Prairie County Deputy Sheriff and Deputy County Clerk, and worked as a bookkeeper for a number of businesses in Carlisle and Little Rock.
She is survived by her sister, Nora Horton Moore of Carlisle; stepdaughter, Sadie Marie McKay; and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 1 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth in Little Rock.
A private interment followed at Salem cemetery in Saline County.
David Leslie Tedford
David Leslie Teford, 57, of North Little Rock, died May 28, 2006.
He was a freelance furniture designer for over 20 years and designed for several national and international name brand furniture companies.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lawrence Tedford; stepdaughter, Emryl Lawrence; son, Jason Tedford; one granddaughter; sister, Mary Jane Staggs of Cabot; brother, and Jimmy Tedford of Beebe.
Funeral services were held June 3 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel in North Little Rock.

Freda Mae Downes, 76, of Cabot, died May 30, 2006.
Graveside services were held June 2 at Sumner cemetery in Cabot.

Elmer G. McGowan
Elmer Glynn McGowan, 57, of Ward, died May 29, 2006.
He owned and operated McGowan and Associates Trucking for 25 years. He was also a licensed real estate broker and auctioneer.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis E. House McGowan; son, Austin McGowan of Indiana; brothers, Wayne and Paul McGowan; and sisters, Sue Merrill and Holly Laureano.

Funeral services were held June 3 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.

Ralph McQueen, Sr.
Ralph Lee McQueen, Sr., 85, of Little Rock, formerly of Dermott, died June 1, 2006.
He was a Certified Public Accountant, a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian church and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn “Chick” Allen McQueen; children, R. Lee McQueen, Jr. of West Memphis and Evelyn Ann “Lyn” McQueen Curtis of Cabot; and three grandchildren.
